This trip, I was looking for a few new pieces to refresh my home after removing my Christmas decoration and taking back to storage. My home always feels bare and not as cozy after removing the Christmas decor. My main reason for running around in this bitter cold is to add more greenery, maybe some new artwork (looking for botanicals), and maybe some new throw pillows for additional accent colors. The prices are reasonable, so I can afford to replace smaller accent items when I tire of them. I only picked up two new candles and 3 packages of candle melts today, but I took pictures of several items I could use. The items change often, so I need to pop back in soon after they restock with new items. The clerks welcomed me when I entered and asked if they could help me. They told me about sales in many booths. Most booths were had clearance prices with prices up to 50% off. A friendly old shaggy dog makes its way past customers. The shop is filled with soaps, candles, jewelry and primitive antiques. I searched through every nook and cranny. Each room is creatively decorated. I found a Christmas ornament that I couldn't live without. Actually, I found several, but settled on one. The shop was filled with laughter, as clerks removed ornaments from trees. This made me happy. There is a restroom filled with whimsical antiques. The shop is a little difficult to see from the road, but they had banners out to pull people in. Parking is somewhat limited, but I didn't have trouble finding a spot. Well worth a visit.

I thought I had ordered a 3 piece bedroom set, which included bed, dresser, and nightstand. Upon delivery the nightstand was missing. In customer service I kept getting the run around - not in the paperwork - when right on the website it specifically says when you order this set a nightstand is included IN THE PAPERWORK. I never received a paper receipt, the manager said it would be emailed, I never got the email. I was never shown an itemized list, he said it would be emailed, I never got the email. Turns out I did not order the "set" only a bed and dresser separately, no nightstand. The salesman claims I said I didn't want the nightstand so he wrote everything up separately. The only thing I ever stated I did not want was the mirror. Based on the showroom floor and the website I assumed I was ordering the set which INCLUDED the nightstand. This could have been cleared up if I had actually been walked through the order AT THE STORE. When writing up the order the salesman forgot to include the mattress, then the railings, etc. Then he wrote everything up separately, total screw up. Total mass confusion and I in good conscience cannot recommend this store. Steer clear. Should be negative stars!

They have some nice stuff here, including a lot more furniture than I expected. They have more room upstairs for browsing too. But the barn seems small compared to the antique mall next door, so unless there is something here that screams "Buy me!", it's kind of hard to rate it higher. Be aware that this is an old barn and has a raised center aisle to walk on. That means low head clearance for air ducts, so watch out. Also, if you are rubber-necking and not looking down, the step down into the rooms/booths on the first floor is large (maybe a 10" drop!) and it would be easy to stumble if you aren't paying attention. Fortunately, the owner did mark the steps in yellow and write "Step" on the ground, but who looks down when you are surrounded by stuff at eye level? I guess I should have. On the positive side, there were some beautiful furniture pieces and a really cool store counter that had shelves that extend all the way through the counter, having a display window on the outside of the piece. This allowed you to see what was in the drawer as a purchaser. Not sure what you would do with this at home, but it was an ingenious piece of Americana. Review #1959

When I was in Friday they were in the process of switching over to fall attire. Lots of gorgeous blouses and dresses in fall colors, florals and jewel colors with sunglasses, jewelry, booties, hats, scraves and sweaters to accessorize that new outfit. I received a warm greeting as I entered the spacious shop. Since it was my first visit the young lady explained where each size group was located from small to plus sizes, and where to find different accessories. I always enjoy a store that I can go directly to my size and not waste time. Each area was organized well and easy to shop. Love the barn door dressing rooms too. A great spot where you can build a stylist outfit head-to-toe quickly or grab a few items to update an existing piece. I look forward to returning soon to browse the new items.

I shopped here just over a month ago and then again yesterday. What I became aware of is that with…read moreso many home decor places in the area, these stores need to keep up with the competition. Not counting online shopping, there are so many home decor shops along US 36 that I can't keep track of them without checking my receipts to see which ones I liked enough to make purchases. On my first visit, I was looking for some seasonal items that would help turn our guest bathroom into something more fitting and welcoming to our guests. That visit was a very positive adventure and I found a number of things that appealed to me and therefore, I spent some dollars. Not a cheap place, so you do have to watch your totals as you shop. But I felt the quality was good, so I wasn't too hesitant to part with my dough! The only negative thing I experienced here is the "one way signs" they have on the floor to encourage social distancing. Unfortunately, who ever placed the "one way" arrows on the flooring wasn't paying attention as there are times you have to ignore the directions or else you get stuck in the back of the store or a corner. The aisles are a little narrow for meeting another customer, so I understand that they want to create a flow, but it felt like I was paying more attention to the floor signs than actually shopping. Nuts! The second visit (just a day ago) I wasn't able to find as much stuff that appealed to me. I was tired of all the holiday decorations I had up, so I was looking for items that would be more like Spring time. I didn't find any "wow" factor in the stuff I was looking at. So, a bit of disappointment. If I had written the review a couple months ago, I would have leaned towards a 5 star, but as the saying goes, you're only as good as the last visit. So, because of the distracting one way signs and the lack of items that had that instant appeal, I will knock a star off for this review. You'll find vendors booths with beautiful florals, many antiques, collectibles, quilts, area rugs, glassware, wreaths, outdoor decor, furniture and home decor. Most booths have many different items and collectibles. You just never know what you'll find while browsing here. The isleways are large enough to get through and the booths are clean and well organized. Most items are clearly priced and priced well. I have purchased so many good quality items from Room Swap (including the Avon Store) and most at a great price. If you're in the area be sure to stop and browse. The selection changes daily so it's fun to see new items often.

I am the Founder and President of a local non profit organization. I took the appropriate…read morepaperwork into the store March 2025 and was issued a sales tax exemption card from their store. I used it several times with no issues. When I attempted to use it a few days ago they said it expired. I showed the cashier the card which showed 3/2028 expiration. She stated that didn't matter, it was expired and I would have to bring the paperwork in again and get a new card. I asked why that might have happened? She stated, oh it happens all the time, you just have to bring your papers in again and get a new card. Seems easy right? Not for someone who works, has a family, runs a non profit and lives 40 minutes away. Because she stated it happens all the time I asked if I could bring my paperwork and have them make a copy in the event it would happen again? She stated, oh, no we can't have that kind of paperwork in the store, you can just bring it with you each time. Not a good option considering it has the organization EIN and other information I wouldn't want to risk by just having it with me everytime. I pulled up my sales tax exemption certificate on the govt website at which point she waved her hand and said, no you have to bring it in, we don't look at copies of things. I explained I was merely showing her I had just obtained the certificate in March 2025 and suddenly July of 2025 Hobby Lobby says it's expired. She then said, you have to have an ST-105...um incorrect. I told her it's an NP-1 form. She argued with me saying corporate told them they have to have an ST-105. I told her that you can't even apply for one of those anymore because the government changed that in 2023 and it's now an NP1 form. She shook her head and waved her hand around, stating nope we can only take the ST105. I pulled up IN.gov and showed her that it's not even possible for me to apply for an ST105 and again she stated, that doesn't mean anything. I asked to speak to a manager to clear things up and she said, he's going to tell you the same thing. There's nothing we can do. I insisted I wanted to speak with him for clarification. When he came to the register the cashier proceeded to talk condescendingly and tell HIM that there was nothing he could do. I explained to him everything I had explained to her including the NP1 form and showed him the government site. He told me he would have to call the corporate tax department, at which point the cashier told him, they're going to tell you the same thing, it's their rule so he did not attempt to even call them on my behalf. I asked for the corporate number and the manager gave that to me and I left. I called the corporate office and left a message because it was after hours. I called my accountant, who confirmed that the ST105 is obsolete. The next day I called the Department of revenue who also told me that the ST105 is no longer the form retailers should be requesting. The Department of revenue gave me the link where I could print off the bulletin from the IRS to take in and show them. The next day I got a call from the corporate office and I explain the situation and they also stated they had no idea why the store would be telling people they needed the ST105 because in fact it is the NP1 form. It was a huge inconvenience, a waste of a lot of my time and fuel to rectify this and I certainly did not appreciate the way that the cashier acted rudely and continued to interrupt myself and the manager along with the waving of her hand and shaking of her head as if she knew everything and was not receptive to what I was explaining. When I went to the store a few days later and showed them the bulletin print off from the Department of revenue the manager was quick to issue a new card and asked if he could make a copy of my NP1 form, which just a few days prior the cashier had stated they can't make copies of any of that paperwork to have in their store.
