What a shame went to order food from them tonight. The girl who answered the phone was clueless and doesn't know their menu. She told me the Greek salad didn't come with feta cheese which it does. Then asked me how i wanted my chicken cooked. I was definitely thrown off by that being I've never been asked that. I said i would like my chicken cooked how else does it come. She said medium, medium well. I stopped Her and cancelled my order. Hope you really are not cooking chicken medium and have someone answer the phone with some knowledge of your menu. read more

I'm so glad to finally have a great local go-to greek restaurant! Great experience from order to pick-up. We got the hummus, greek fries, falafel, veggie kebab platter (with greek salad) and my 3-year-old son go the kid's pizza (which he shockingly ate ALL of)! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The Greek fries were so good and such a fun play on cheese fries - we all really enjoyed them. We also got a few pieces of baklava (because how could we not). I ate past full which says a lot. read more

Been to or have had Little Gyro Kitchen delivered a few times now and must say I enjoyed the food on every occasion. My personal favorite so far is the chicken gyro and I usually add on a side of fries, hits the spot every time. I love their tzatziki, it's freaking delicious. The platters will for sure fill you up. I thought I'd give this place a try but what a let down. If you want a fake avgolemono soup then this is your restaurant. Its not bad but its not your regular chicken arzo lemon soup. It tasted more like arroz caldo than avgolemono. For a $20 platter the portion is very small and you get few dry pieces of chicken. Do not recommend at all. Go to Sufiya's grill you get at least two sticks of delicious chicken, roasted onion & tomatoe, salad, rice & pita. Or Mediterranean Kebab House in Westbury. read more

Not now --- so Sad new Management has ruined The original reputation. Not only had they overcharged me but This Use Not Fresh ingredients!!! Me and my wife enjoyed wonderful food from this cute little gem in the heart of Levitown. We shared hummus which was absolutely excellent, very fresh perfect consistency and my wife absolutely loved it which makes me a happy man. We also had a chicken Gyro very juicy tasty and flavorful. Picked up two Greek salads and a Mignon Kabob sandwich. Salads were really nothing special. You have got to be kidding charging $11.95 for four 1" cubes of meat, half a tomato slice and some shredded lettuce on a soggy pita. You really should be embarrassed!!! I normally hate leaving bad reviews. Spent over $30 on a delivery. Lentil soup it was good and the lemon chicken orzo soup was pretty good. Got the lamb gyro they didn't provide any tzatziki sauce. When I called they did apologize and he said next time I order they will give me extra tzatziki sauce. What am I going to do save my gyro so I can have sauce next time? I can't even eat a dry gyro until I go home and try to add something to this bland plate. read more

Came here on valentines day because I'm recovering from 4 days of non stop throwing up and nausea and my partner and I are trying to go vegan. We wanted simple but delicious food. The place was nice and service was quick and eextra nice. We ordered lentil soup, Greek salAd and falafel on pita. All was really nice, lentil soup tasted like homemade and hearty and Greek salad the was really good; such great flavors of real food. The servers added extra niceness by giving us two baklavas with chocolate heart shaped syrup on the plate on the house. Will definitely come by or order from here again. read more

I love the food here, especially the village salad, however the last couple of times I have gotten food from here, I have been overcharged. The guy behind the counter couldn't care less, types in whatever salad he feels like giving me that day, and questions my ability to read the prices on his own menu. I went into the little gyro kitchen for the first time Friday night for takeout and I'm sorry but I was very disappointed. I've read all great things about them on Facebook so I don't know what happened. Firstly the cashier was not very friendly and his English was limited. They have a big menu that my wife had some questions about and he was unable to answer her questions. I asked for a lamb gyro and I was given a lamb kebab which I probably wouldn't have minded but it was mostly peppers and onions with 4 tiny pieces of lamb that was gamey and tasted old. My wife got grilled salmon over a Greek salad. She said that the salmon was just ok but the salad was wilted and the cucumbers were slimy. There was no dressing on the salad and she was only given a small container that was not enough so she ended up using some dressing that we had in the fridge. I also was not given any tzatziki sauce which I found odd coming from a Greek place. I ordered baklava and they only had chocolate which was still ok but it tasted old and my wife's swears that the cashier put it in the container with his bare hands. The cook is a young guy I did notice that he only had one glove on while cooking. I may give them another shot cause I really want to try their gyro but maybe I'll stick to what I know at Pete the Greeks place. read more
