This was a restaurant I've been dying to try. It was Brunch on a Sunday and I loved that there was a DJ and off the walk in the aesthetic of the place was so chic and inviting. The bottomless options were absolutely amazing! The rum punch was the best. The food was ok, it did need seasoning and better presentation in my opinion and as far as timing it did take a minute to come out. I feel like I'd have to go again to try the food. But overall our server was really nice so that made up for the lackluster food.

This restaurant was perfect. When my husband and I went, it was quiet, with simple decor and a warm, homely atmosphere. The staff was courteous and attentive to all of our needs. The food was absolutely scrumptious--from the fresh bread brought to our table to the appetizer and entrée, everything was perfection. I can't wait to come back!

Had a great lunch experience today! The burger was juicy and full of flavor, the waitress was so kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was calm and serene. I went around 2:30 for lunch and really enjoyed how peaceful it was. Even the chairs were super comfortable! Definitely a spot I'd visit again. Donna our waitress was so nice and her hair curls omg so beautiful!!

Came for Sunday brunch and we enjoyed our experience. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. Ample parking(satisfying a pet peeve of mine). There was a DJ, friendly staff, and an attentive server for our table. We had the shrimp and grits with a side of turkey sausage, the brunch burger, and bottomless Bellini's and Rum Punch. The alcohol did the job, the food was very good, well seasoned, hot, and great portions. I loved the garlic aioli on the burger so much that I had to ask for extra; a special shout out for the shrimp and grits, I typically don't like this dish, but at the Guest House it was spectacular. I would suggest putting some appetizers on the brunch menu to give folks an opportunity to sample some other dishes without having to commit to a full entree. Will be back.

    Salmon burger is delicious!

The Happy Hour on Thursday was fabulous. The lamb chops were tender and delicious. The Shrimp crostini with the red sweet sauce was amazing. I enjoyed the salmon burger with tasty sauces. My chocolate gelato was yummy. It was a great experience to have a fabulous lunch with beautiful friends. The waiter was pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu; she paid attention to every detail, and answered every question without skipping a beat. The service was excellent! The ambiance was comfortable, and relaxing. It was a wonderful experience and I will go to this restaurant again. It was a special place to create happy memories with friends!

Here's the Scoop! I came here for a dinner gathering of friends sending off a couple who is moving south. My dear friends will be missed here in New York. First off as you approach this venue it's a store front entrance. Small but long. The small is utilized well. The ambiance gives off night club but it's a bistro. The DJ was playing the music extremely loud so have conversations was very difficult until we asked our waitress to have them lower the music. Our waitress was very friendly and moved quickly to get our appetizers out and drinks. We were a group of 10. The decor is black and silver with white linen tablecloths. The menu had some great items as did the appetizers. The lollipop lamb chops and crab cakes on the appetizer menu were delicious! Prices were ok and portions were not large. Good was tasty. I ordered the short ribs with garlic mash and spinach. Very tasty. My honey ordered the oxtail pasta. Delicious also. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they ordered. The dessert menu had peach cobbler, cheese cake, brownie with ice cream and I believe carrot cake. However, we didn't order any because we were full. The drinks were on point! Whewww! We ordered a 2for of the Long Island Ice tea. My goodness it was rough! The presentation was fabulous. It came in a decanter that was clear and it looked delicious with sliced lemon etc. loved it! Would I come again maybe because the food was good and the service was nice but I think for a Bistro the music should have been mixed with some jazz and lower.

I came here before for my friend's real estate event and I was happy to come back because the food was great. We came back for happy hour. I ordered more than half of the menu! I couldn't believe they had lamb chops on there for $7!! I'm not even a person that likes that too much but I got two orders. lol it was just so tender and well seasoned. The calamari is my second favorite crunchy and not fishy. The crab cake was good & so was the truffle fries. Great service. The day we came it was also $35 steak night.

My overall experience at the Guest House was amazing. The decor was cute, seating spacious, environment inviting. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the lamb chops with mixed veggies. The lamb chops were an absolute delight. They were tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Cooked to perfection, each bite had a beautiful sear on the outside with a succulent, slightly pink center that melted in my mouth. The seasoning was well-balanced which enhanced the natural richness of the lamb without overpowering it. The mixed veggies were simply deliciousl. They were cooked just right, tender yet crisp. The seasoning on the veggies was flavorful. I tried my daughter's shrimp and grits. Let me preface by saying I am not a fan of grits but have now been converted. I can't even describe it...I just wanted more. There were other dishes on the table, we were all very happy with our meals. The wait staff were all very very pleasant and professional. The owner was out and about making sure of all his guests were happy. Each table had a lamp with a USB port to charge your phone if need be.. that was considerate of the owner. Parking was plentiful. I highly highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates expertly prepared lamb, oh and please try the shrimp and grits too, and the Greek salad.. you know what, just go there hungry. P.s. there was a live DJ which was just the icing on the cake for me.

Came here for lunch and we were delighted with the "duo" menu! You can mix and match items from any two categories (soup, salad, pasta, entree, 1/2 flatbread). So for example, you could do a chicken capri sandwich with 1/2 cheese flatbread, or a Moroccan pasta with greek salad. The lunch is a fantastic deal, especially considering most of these same items (and same portion sizes) are $17+ when ordered at dinner time or off the regular menu. All the food we ordered was amazing, and the finishing touch was the churro dulce cake for dessert...Save room!

I found this place on Groupon. The place has great potential! The drinks were delicious. The calamari tasted as if it was sitting in the oil and not drained correctly. The seafood pasta wasn't bad - I'd order again if i was to return. The lobster ravioli was not stuffed where you could tell it's lobster. But the sauce was good. Our server and bartender was nice. The music being played was low but cool.

We had a 2 o'clock brunch reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival. We ordered the bottomless rum punch, but the first round was extremely watery it tasted like it had no rum at all. We requested another one, and the second drink actually had rum in it. They also had a DJ the music was very loud. We were practically screaming at each other across the table. For food, we ordered the shrimp BLT sandwiches. The wait was longer than expected, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. When the food arrived, it tasted fine, but at $25, I didn't feel it was worth the price. On the positive side, the staff was friendly. I might consider coming back to try their happy hour or dinner menu in the future.

Apparently everyone's known about this place but me. Hope it stays a little hidden. We were able…read moreto walk in towards the end of dinner service on a Saturday and get a table for two without a reservation. Nothing but great things to say. Walk in, the open kitchen to your left (seems like a brilliant use of the space layout they had to work with). Meet the smiling host, then straight into the dining room. The dining room is elevated for North Bellmore, white tablecloths, lighting, fixtures, plates, silverware - they spent a few bucks making it nice. We ordered too much, which happens when eating late after skipping lunch.... Apps: 1. The grilled halloumi was great - sometimes it can get rubbery - not here. They were served over thick sliced roasted tomatoes which held up just enough to get some grill marks as well. I could have done without the glaze, but it was still ok. 2. Tuna tartare - deep red tuna, diced, over avocado - well plated, good dish. 3. Couldn't decide on a grilled fish app, so went with the grilled seafood sampler - amazing flavor on it all - calamari, shrimp and octopus all tender and kissed just enough on that open flame. Knife work on the garnishes and plating was done by someone who cares. Diced peppers under the calamari must've been quickly pickled - they had great flavor and kept just enough crunch to make a great dish even better. For entrees - went with the grilled salmon and ribeye steak... couldn't believe it was as good as it was for the price. Salmon was delicious, juicy, and even the skin on (plated skin down) was perfect - which I can never do, especially on a grill. The ribeye was delicious - lots of rib-cap, perfectly medium-rare, even on a hot plate, and I could swear the chef might have predicted cook time to put the more rare side plate down to make it become a medium steak by the time it hit the table. And the fries..... ohhhhhh the fries..... I'm a sucker for french fries when done right, and I ordered these fries and apps alone, it would have been a perfect meal.... perfectly hot, crispy, and plentiful. Stuffed, packed up some of the entrees for leftovers, and skipped desert and coffee - it was late. But will deffff be back and can't wait to try some of the offerings on that menu. Oh and here's a tip... if you park facing the restaurant at night, turn off your headlights as you're pulling into the spot. Was it a particularly flawless night, or is this the norm? Will report back after going back - will deff be back.
