The vibe is welcoming and reminded me of India. Nostalgic. Service is great and undhiyu was my favorite. I learned that it's a family business from decades and definitely beats the other pricey Indian restaurants. Highly recommended.

Food - Horrible . Go there only if you believe , the only way to loose weight is stomach upset. New Owners - RUDE. In my google review they wrote , if you want to come then good else ok. Don't hide behind internet. Read my google review and their reply is attached to this review Ambience - Except the tables which has a new light with number , it's the old look. It's decent.

Little India is a small spot with grocery cum chaat place. Being near to the Univ it probably attracts a lot of students, but its definitely small. All of their dishes are either hit or a miss deal. We went there for dinner and ordered Pav Bhaji, Dahi puri, Sev Puri, Chole Batura, Panipuri and Vada Pav. In all of them, Dahi puri tasted the best. The curry quantities for Pav bhaji and Batura was so less and wasn't enough at all. When my friend went up to ask for some extra pickle, he was told, we were already been given one, its not like we weren't paying for it though. Average place for a quick bite, don't expect more than that!

This review is exclusively for the food served at this place and not the grocery isles or the store in particular. As u enter this place the place is stuffed with Indian grocery and isles all around, moving is a little difficult with the items kept all around. As u enter u have to collect a blue menu card if u want to eat something. Towards the end of the store, a step of table and chairs have been placed and u can find the kitchen. One can pick from the menu and handover the card to one of the ladies in the kitchen. I can easily tell I have tasted almost the entire menu here and could give feedback about every single item. To start with their samosas are really good, this savory dish is amazing. Its crisp and the stuffing is very tasty. Samosa chaat is sister food of samosa where they have different lentils and flavors to eat the samosa with. Their chole batura is alright and I am not a big fan of it, may be if u eat it fresh when they serve it, might taste better. I have taken a to go and it is alright. The bada pav, the bada is good but the pav they use is a sandwich bread which is sweet so its not that great. The Raj Kachori is really fascinating to see and eat. Looks good and is equally delicious. The paratha's paneer and aloo are pretty authentic and the pickles they serve with is straight from India. This place is a total authentic Indian chaat, its very close to what u could find in India. Only draw back is the cleanliness of the place, it looks cramped and crowded. Otherwise a good place for food. The price is the most reasonable u could find for Indian food. Overall a must try place if u want to eat good North Indian street food.

The lentils and deliciously flavored chips made the meal extra filling too! I also made my own "southwestern" Arnold Palmer by mixing their homemade prickly pear tea with pink lemonade, and it was phenomenal. I ordered Ajwani Fish Tikka and Mutton Rogan Josh through Uber Eats (see attached receipt). Instead of the fish tikka I ordered, I received a whole fish (also attached). I understand some people enjoy whole fish, but I absolutely do not. The sight of an entire fish completely killed my appetite, and it was nothing like what I expected when ordering fish tikka. I called the restaurant expecting a simple apology and a solution. Instead, I was told they had actually sent me a fish that was worth about $20 more and that I should be happy because I received something more expensive. I repeatedly explained that this was never about the money. I didn't care if the replacement cost more. I ordered Ajwani Fish Tikka because that's what I wanted to eat. Receiving a more expensive dish doesn't make it the correct order. Rather than apologizing or trying to make things right, I was simply told to "talk to Uber Eats." When I pointed out that the restaurant was the one that prepared and sent the wrong item, the conversation became increasingly hostile. The most disappointing part was the owner's behavior. When I said I would leave an honest review based on my experience, he became extremely aggressive, yelling, "Who the hell do you think you are? Are you trying to threaten me?" I never threatened anyone. I simply said I would leave a review reflecting what had happened. Mistakes happen. Restaurants send out the wrong food sometimes, and I can understand that. What I cannot understand is treating a paying customer with disrespect instead of professionalism. The food mistake was disappointing. The customer service was unacceptable. I won't be ordering from Avasa again, and I hope this review encourages the management to treat future customers with more respect.

When you're sitting in their little booths, it's also very private and you can also view their process of making tofu in the back on the televisions on the side while you eat it, which is very informative as well. The staff was very clean and prompt at taking orders and never missed anything either, so I definitely appreciated the wait staff and attitude as always.

This most recent visit we had a good variety of items: Wings with all 4 sauces - these are always great. They are crispy and flavorful on it's own even without any of the sauce Bacon wrapped dates - my first time trying these. I enjoyed the bacon but wasn't a fan of the date texture inside. My brothers loved it though. I liked the sauce it pepper puree on it. Bianca pizza - it wasn't bad but not my first choice for their pizza. I like their carne pizza as I prefer my pizzas to have sauce. The ricotta was good. G&G double burger - this was really good and flavorful. The burger was cooked well and the bun was soft. The truffle fries were good as well. Braised short rib - I only tried a bite of this one. The short rib itself was very tender and I liked it, but I didn't care much for the puree. It was more of a whipped airy texture and pretty much dissolved in your mouth once you ate it, so I couldn't really taste anything. Truffle Mac and cheese - I didn't try this but my brothers liked it. One said the truffle was faint while the other said it was pretty noticeable lol The drinks were okay and can be a bit pricey. I liked the Crimson Garden because you can really taste the ginger which I love. Honey Apricot Cheesecake - this is a must try. I'm not a big cheesecake person but this one isn't dense like others are. The whipped cream is so good and it's not overly sweet. Lavender Matcha - I'm not a big lavender person but the lavender went well with the matcha. It wasn't too earthy either. If you're on the fence, definitely give this place a shot!
