I've been here about 4-5x now for dinner as well as lunch buffet. Each time we've had great service, delicious food & a lovely experience overall. I can't believe I forgot to review in the past as we'd been before they renovated as well. Just wish it was closer so we could dine here more often. Staff is always attentive & friendly.

Parm was such a sweetheart! [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as I walked in, it was hit with a wonderful aroma,[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm not even a huge eater of Indian food, but I was excited to try the lunch buffet. It did not disappoint. The buffet had shredded lettuce and when I let Parm know I don't love shredded lettuce. he brought me regular lettuce from the kitchen. I love tasting all the different flavors, and definitely overloaded my plate so I could get a few bites of everything. The complementary flavored naan options were amazing! The lamb stew was incredible! Truly everything was great! This belly ache is so worth it!

Love the authentic and rich Indian food here every time. They give you just the right portion and can even be shared if you're feeling up for it. 10/10 place to come visit or order takeout from.

Tried India's Flame in Tempe and it was amazing! Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, not heavy or oily like some other places can be. The spice level was perfect--enough kick to bring out the flavor without being overpowering. You can tell they use quality ingredients. I just moved here and I was very worried I wouldnt find a quality indian food restaurant. It looks like they might offer a buffet, but I didnt get a chance to ask. I'll definitely be back soon!

Garlic naan with butter chicken and rice. They have perfected simple but high quality and taste. Yummy satisfying dinner!

I have some family that lives near this place and bragged on it and an aunt that's never had this type of cuisine so we decided to try it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very clean and nice![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good energy and the staff was extremely kind and friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed my food however I did feel the Tikka Masala wasn't as flavorful as I've had other places , still good though. I would try this place again and feel comfortable recommending it to a friend.

Hands down my favorite Indian spot in town! The service is always top notch and whether we go for their buffet or dinner service we are never disappointed! I couldn't recommend this place enough. If you aren't that familiar with Indian food and want to try a bunch of different options definitely go for the daily buffet that comes with naan, if you go for the dinner service don't forget the somosas!

This place came up and it's somewhat hidden behind the QT off Baseline, so I've never noticed it before. It's pretty big inside, much bigger than it appears from the front. There is plenty of seating areas and tons of TVs. There are a couple of pool tables, electronic dart boards, virtual golf game stations, and possibly other games I didn't see. It was not busy when we first arrived but it picked up while we were there. When we arrived we headed to the main bar area. Service started out a bit slow, we were at a table in the bar area but no one was coming over, so we found 2 seats at the bar itself and then things were fine. Bartender was friendly and gave good service. The beers and drinks are a good price. I think on happy hour my pint was $5.25. One of our beers on tap was 3.75. I had the Sam Adams Summer Ale, which they just put on tap for the season. It's so good, very light and refreshing. The food at Doc & Eddy's is solid pub food too. We both liked what we had-- the cheesesteak and surf & turf burrito. I would definitely come back and watch other games here.

Classic pub food, happy hour, karaoke, trivia, pool tables, darts, arcade games, and plenty of TVs for sports, basically a little something for everyone. We sat at the bar with one of the regulars, so the staff came by to check on us here and there, which was super nice. We ended up sitting right by the trivia screen, so the three of us played against each other. The boys were shouting out trivia answers like championship points were on the line. Me? It was Friday night and my brain was officially off-duty. No thinking for this girl. The place was lively, fun, and totally poppin' for a Friday night. Great casual spot to hang out, play games, grab drinks, and enjoy the crowd.

It's the kind of restaurant that makes getting dressed up feel exciting and worth it, and I absolutely loved that about the experience. It felt like such a perfect date night spot or place to celebrate something special. The servers were also extremely attentive the entire night. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. Honestly, I'm sitting here craving the food again just looking back at the pictures I took. This is definitely one of those restaurants that sticks in your mind long after you leave.

The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.

The most recent was…read moreon a Thursday night around 10:30 p.m. This speakeasy is located on Mill Ave., the center of Tempe's party scene. Because of its location, parking isn't easy. If you're looking for free parking, you're going to have a long walk. Outside of that, you'll have to pay for parking in a garage or metered street parking. Ambiance (4/5): Hint hint. Idle Hands is located inside Devil's Hideaway. A true speakeasy shouldn't have signage outside indicating its location. Unfortunately, there's a sign for Idle Hands outside of Devil's Hideaway which takes away the sense of mystery and intrigue that a true speakeasy provides. Outside of this hiccup, it's a cool speakeasy. It's intimate, with 10 or so seats at the bar and about 10 seats in booths facing the bar. There's a projector screen behind the bar that had mystical motion graphics the first time I stopped by (thinking wizards) and Halloween motion graphics the second time (with it being a day before the holiday). There were some other Halloween decorations up. The only area of improvement? The music often doesn't match the vibe. A lot of the music they were playing on my last visit was Irish music that would be fitting for a pub. Service (4/5): I had the same bartender each time. He knows how to make a good drink and is pretty efficient. When you close out, he only gives you the merchant copy. Which is a pet peeve of mine. Let me get that customer copy too. But overall, a good experience. Especially at a college bar. Food (N/A): I've only had drinks both times. Idle Hands actually doesn't have food, but Devil's Hideaway does. And you're allowed to bring food from there into the speakeasy. Drinks (4.5/5): It's pretty surprising to see a speakeasy on a college campus. I was impressed with the creativity of the menu, both in terms of the ingredients used and the fusion of flavors. I've had a different cocktail each time, and they've all been great. My favorite was one served in a box filled with smoke. Talk about a cool presentation! The hallmarks of a solid speakeasy are elevated cocktails, nice ambiance (dimly lit), an intimate space, and mystery/intrigue. While the intrigue is lacking at Idle Hands, and the music can be improved, they hit it out of the park in the other areas. One of my favorite speakeasies I've been to in Phoenix (and surrounding areas). I am, after all, the self-appointed king of speakeasies. The king gives his stamp of approval.
