It has been has been incredible odyssey to find good pizza here in the North Country New York. Now, I would like to preference the above that we are from Boston and there are great pizza joints all through the city so we were spoiled.! We decided to start over after the pandemic and buy a small farm in Colton. We love living here but the food scene has been a struggle. Well we finally tried Little Italy Pizza and it was fantastic! The pizza ms are hand tossed and plenty of great toppings they do not offer at all pizza places. We tend to order take out two the ordering process was smooth, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant extremely clean. We will be making this place our only go to Pizza Place going forward. Canton Little Italy: My best friend hired this business to cater their wedding in August 2025. They began planning in December 2024 with this venue. The deposit required was 50%, but they paid 90% upfront to finalize plans. A month before the wedding, they reached out to confirm details and received no response. When the owner finally replied, she stated she was "busy" and later added unexpected charges for delivery and setup -- costs that were not disclosed in the original quote. Understandably, this caused stress for the couple, who had already budgeted based on the original agreement. When they asked for a breakdown of what had already been paid for, the owner responded rudely, saying it would take her "hours" to prepare and refused to provide clear answers. When the groom attempted to resolve the matter in person, the owner raised her voice, used inappropriate language, and refused to offer either a compromise or refund. She also told them it was "on them" to figure out how to get the food on their wedding day if they did not want to pay the additional fees. On the day of the wedding, my husband volunteered to pick up the food so the couple wouldn't have to worry. Despite paying the remaining balance plus gratuity, he was left to load 10 pizzas and 12 trays of food by himself, without assistance -- as the owner and staff would not even have the decency to hold the door open. The food was delivered and had to be warmed up before it was even served at the venue. Thankfully, the wedding crew pulled this off for the newlyweds! This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and deeply disappointing, especially for such an important occasion. I cannot recommend this business for catering, events, or even casual dining. Transparency, professionalism, and basic courtesy should be the standard, especially in hospitality -- unfortunately, this establishment showed none of these qualities. Look, I get you may get a lot of inebriated college kids in your shoppe; as well as local citizens of thin gene pools whose culinary acumen is the art of perfecting the famous pizza log. There are however, many college kids (and me..) from Westchester, Connecticut and Long Island (Utica and Schenectady too) who will call you out on serving a chicken parm sandwich with a mechanically separated chicken meat patty. You know...the ones that your neighborhood McDonald's will service to their poor schmuck patrons. It's half assed and quite frankly insulting to any Italian eatery to pull that on their customers. Ordered from the Potsdam location at 420 pm pizza arrived at 610 pm cold as well as a calzone cheese had harden up had to reheat in the oven. We were told 30 to 40 minutes far from the case driver called at 530 lost apparently. Called to cancel at 6 pm said it would be here soon and hot what a JOKE.The driver offered no discount did not seem to really care very poor customer service . Well, Where to start..... From the time we walked in the door to the time we paid the bill this place is phenomenal. 5 stars from the beginning!!!! The guy who greeted us at the counter was polite and knowledgeable about certain things I asked him. Then I tried a slice of their pizza from the slice case. I told them not to heat it, I had them split it on 2 plates so that we could both decide whether it was good or not, If you can't eat a pizza places slices cold they are usually just average. This slice was full of flavor, held together well and was overall one of the best cold slices of pizza I ever ate (and I eat ALOT of pizza) so needless to say we ordered 2 calzones..... I can't give them a full review because it would take a week to write all the positive about the food. What I can say is it was perfectly cooked, Had MORE than average amount of toppings and was just bursting with with flavor. Couldn't be more happier that we chose this over that frozen chain Pizza Hut. If your ever in Canton NY, You NEED to try this place. It is absolutely amazing. Anyone that can't give this place a 5 star rating is either unhappy that it isn't fast food or they just hate life itself. And from a former pizzeria owner... these guys UNBELIEVABLY IMPRESSED ME!!! I have had great food here. I have also become violently ill from the food. It's really a gamble. Their pizza crust is great. Sauce is delicious. The toppings are hit or miss...bacon is often chewy and reinforces my love for a vegetarian diet. Their buffalo cauliflower is frozen and extremely oily. It's a shame. read more

I had vegan wings with the Blazin Barbecue sauce and holy CRAP was it HOT!!! They were so spicy I cried! I'm a big fan of really spicy food and thoroughly enjoyed them, but I'm leaving 4 stars because I had NO IDEA it would be so hot and I think that should be noted on the menu. Absolutely fantastic place. From the moment I called I felt like we were being taken care of like family. We were playing in the area for a basketball tournament and had a large team ordered delivered after our game. Jessika and her staff were amazing. Our food was hot, labeled, and most importantly delicious. Our girls aren't always the easiest to please but they were all so happy that we ordered again after our second game. Our team enjoyed every different meal they ordered from pasta and pizza to salads and wings. I can't recommend this place enough. Giving 1 star is over rated. First, allow me to state that I am very disappointed with the restaurant owner, Jessika Furnace. We live over 3 hours away and we purposely came to the area to find a wedding caterer to feed 60 people for our simple outdoor wedding for next year. We've been in contact with Jessika through email and phone calls to do taste testing, and to ensure that she can cater on our wedding day. She said that she would charge by the pan of food which is what she had on her catering menu. If we want food that is not on her menu like mashed potatoes and a simple beef dish, she would make it for us and just charge us of what it would take to feed 60 people. I've asked her if there are any extra fees I should be aware of. She said that she would not charge anything extra but tipping the driver for delivering the food would be nice. All she had to do is drop off the food and leave. After the taste testing on Sept, we've given Jessika the details and confirming the exact date again when she is going to cater. She said that she will be sending us the quote after 1 week. Three weeks later, she texted me and wanting to charge us a MINIMUM of $2500 or else, she would not be interested in catering. The amount of food that we are going to order is not going to be worth $2500. Jessika, have you lost your mind? You can't expect us to pay you a minimum of $2500 and not getting the breakdown of what's gonna cost. You're charging us over $41 per plate. We did not order filet minion and lobster for our guests. You're not serving our guests. You're literally dropping off the food and leave. Not only Jessika hasn't given us the actual breakdown of the $2500 she's charging us after 3 months of waiting, the worst part is, she has the wrong date of the wedding. Are you kidding me? Your dishonesty and unprofessionalism is what's going to bite you. Karma is going to catch you sooner or later. And let me remind you, restaurant owners need the customers to survive this business and not the other way around. You're only surviving because you are in a college town. Thank goodness, Little Italy wasn't the only restaurant we did food tasting when we were in this area. We were finally able to find a VERY reputable caterer who's been in business for more than 20 years that would gladly work with us, who's professional and charged us a FAIR price. If you're looking for a headache and to be treated very poorly, then Jessika Furnace should cater your event. I'm so happy that we did not hire Little Italy. I wouldn't want Jessika Furnace to deliver the food on the wrong day of our wedding. read more

The food was excellent. This place has a variety of items on their menu and all look appetizing. I had the firecracker ship as the main course, which was really good. For appetizers, I had garlic knots and buffalo cauliflower. Both were excellent. Though the restaurant isn't huge, it's still a very nice place. Fantastic pies, outstanding service, great atmosphere. Will always hit Little Italy when in town.

My Fiancé and I stopped in to have an early dinner. The waiter pointed us towards a very little table against a wall. I asked if we could sit at one of the larger tables and he said those were saved for a party larger than two. Reluctantly, we sat at this 50 cent piece size table and ordered an antipasto salad, large cheese and pepperoni pizza and I ordered an Eggplant parm. Meanwhile a couple elderly ladies came in and sat at a table for four. Sure enough, the waitress asked these women to move to a tiny table against the wall. Mind you they were walking with canes, probably in their mid to late 80's. The salad took way too long to be brought to us. My fiancé said he watched his pizza come out of the oven ten minutes before they brought it to him as they were waiting for My Eggplant to finish. He was starving, not good, should have just let him get started. When they brought the pizza they put it on top of a wire high rise thing so that it was about 18 inches off the table and as unstable as all get out. The first slice of pizza landed upside down half on the table and half on his plate. Our dine in experience was horrible and I'm certain we won't go back.
