I ordered some pasta that had hot peppers & chicken in it, a Pasta Riggies I think it was called. I also got a side salad & a garlic bread. I have to say that the pasta itself was pretty good. The sauce was creamy & flavorful & the hot peppers were a nice touch overall. I was disappointed by the amount of chicken it had though. It honestly had like 8 small cubes of chicken in it. For an $18 pasta you'd expect to get a whole chicken breast with it. read more

Had a quick bite at Little Italy. First time dining here. We sat inside, nice booths in a tight little restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly, we ordered a 6 garlic knots to start. They were warm and very dense - and loaded with garlic. Side of marinara was good. The main course consisted of couple slices and a sausage sub. The crust was extremely thin - if you like pizza that way, this is the spot. The sausage sub was a bit of a disappointment. The sausage was sliced into discs which made them fall out when you're eating it and the peppers were absolutely raw. Overall flavor was good but not what was expected. I'll be back for pizza and wouldn't order the sub again. Good food and reasonable prices. 3.5 stars. read more

The waitress was awesome as well we asked for a couple of other recommendations of places in town to eat she was spot on. We will definitely be back when we come back to town. family and I were visiting our old college town! We were so excited to eat at what was once upon a time our favorite restaurant! We ordered $130 worth of food and it was gross!! I wish I could get a refund!! We were all disappointed by the lack of taste and quality!! Chicken tenders were nasty! Fries with gravy were over cooked and disgusting! Poutine had barely any cheese and was expensive. Pizza was not what it used to be. When we went in to pick up the order, it was hotter inside than it was outside. The girl behind the counter was nice; however, she did not give us our pizza until we asked her. Overall, I'm saddened by this terrible experience and frustrated that $130 of my hard earned money was flushed down the drain. We will never return! read more

Garlic knots are pretty good! The pizza is just ok. I recommend Sergis instead if you want pizza.

Extremely small portions of pasta for the price. The pasta was cold and had very little sauce. Plus they left off two items from our takeout order (Wish I could get my tip back). My advice--skip this place and get a can of Chef Boyardee....you'll be get a better meal. read more

This place is the worst pizza place to order from. Don't waste your money. The customer service is terrible, they are never on time, they over cook your pizza, don't cut it and then complain because your sheet pizza is taking up room. We put our order in at 6:30pm, it was supposed to be ready at 7:30pm, and we didn't get it until 8:15. The manager was yelling in front us about how our sheet pizza was taking up all the space. If I could pick 0 stars for this place I would- Being a rep I order all the time for my offices from different restaurants, this place is one that I ordered from more than a few times. With that being said I haven't ordered since Covid and thank goodness I haven't. I had ordered for a noon delivery... and since they weren't at the office when I arrived, I called. A gentleman answered the phone and he said the delivery should be there any minute... after 15 minutes it came ( they are literally down the street less than 5 minutes away. I was calm and I said to the guy we have to have these lunches on time as the providers have very little time for lunches... he then says to the guy next to him " this lady is yelling at me... I had not raised my voice once and simply said we need them on time. The driver brought in the food and said the paper products were in the car and took off. The food was absolutely gross... the chicken was burnt as you can see in the pic and the cheese on the ziti wasn't even melted. Cute little spot in the heart of downtown Potsdam. 5 out of 5 stars across the board. For a pizza shop the staff of two runs a great restaurant as well. For being close to the oven on a hot summer day it was surprisingly comfortable in there. The woman running the desk was so pleasant and attentive despite taking orders and organizing deliveries. The cook sang right along to some classics making a great environment. We went with the standard pepperoni pizza and they nailed it, fresh as hell, just the right crispy to the crust, and perfect mix of some great sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Highly recommend it! It's hit or miss with these people. Sometimes the service is good and the food is hot and fresh and oh so quality. Sometimes they misplace your order and lie about it and make you wait straight through your lunch break and then send you back to work hungry. If you can stomach it, try that big double-decker meat slice. Good lord. read more

Pizza was mediocre. I was asked at the register when paying with my credit card for $5.75 worth of pizza if I wanted to "leave the tip on my card." Tip? Tip for what? I walked in to buy 2 slices of pizza, eat at a booth and leave. You haven't done anything for me besides take my order. I'm not dining in or being waited on. Pretty rude if you ask me. This place is always amazing. And when I came here a few years ago and got the eggplant parmesan it was amazing! However I got a pesto pasta & then they gave me a pasta dish and what appeared to be oregano just sprinkled all over & I called the lady over & politely said, "oh I'm sorry ma'am I asked for the pesto pasta." And she said, "yes, that's it. Is it not what you wanted?" & I kinda just looked at it & I always feel bad to make a restaurant take something back so I just said, "no, that's okay. This is fine." I was really disappointed. I would never call just one seasoning pesto. That's ridiculous. It was just an alfredo pasta with some diced tomatoes. Both went to college nearby. By far the best pizza in Upstate NY, and some of the best we've ever had. The stromboli are good, the garlic knots are to die for, and they always had an awesome assortment of slices (everyone should try the double-decker meat lover's at least once--heart attacks have never been so delish). To top it off, the staff there were always super nice. I would say something specifically to the person whose taste buds have quite obviously taken a turn for the worse after those Dominos binges, but hey, more pizza for us! The only downside of this place is that they don't deliver to Boston :P read more

This place is probably the best pizza place in Potsdam. I've had a few slices from Little Italy, and the pizza is amazing. The pizza is hand-tossed with dough of good consistency. My friends and I ordered a pizza that we call the Meatza. It's an amazing double-stacked pizza with more meat than any other pizza that I've ever had. One of my friends said that the pizza is "accidently a deep dish" because each slice is weighed down by about 2 pounds of meat and cheese. They also serve wings and other pizza-place-like foods. If you are looking for a classic NY-style pizza, you can't go wrong with Little Italy. read more

Last night I spent 2 hours trying to get through. Finally I just decided to quit and have our pizza night tonight. Tonight I spent a while on the phone to be answered and put immediately on hold without asking for permission, which is a standard courtesy for telephone business. I politely informed the girl who answered finally of the time it took yesterday and today she offered no apology, which, again, would be standard practice. We dined in for dinner, Booths are separated with plastic screens for social distancing. We did not preorder. Wait time was short. To start We ordered garlic bread, garlic parm and bbq wings. I'll start off with a positive. Their supreme pizza is outstanding. Everything else that I have received from there is POORLY made. Little to no effort is made by the kids who make the food (pizza at least). The garlic knots are terrible by the way. The service is absolutely terrible. If you order a blue cheese when delivering, don't expect to get it (this has happened 5 or 6 times). Delivery typically takes 1-2 hours. The last time I called, I was on the phone waiting 15 minutes for an answer on a Monday night (and they have you listen to a terrible music tone when you call). In addition, the staff is extremely unprofessional with drama and language. So there are at least 3 pizza place in Potsdam and thats only including the local heros. Throw in your pizza hut and dominoes and you are looking at quite a few pizza choices for little Potsdam, NY. So why Little Italy? They make some unique pizzas in addition to your traditional favorites that are definitely worth a try. I like the Meat Lovers (double decker pizza), the penne pizza, and the veggie. They also have a great buffalo chicken pizza and some other things I am forgetting. It is a smaller place with probably less than 10 booths but it is the perfect spot to stop in and grab a slice at lunch. Another great thing about this pizza place is that late night crowd. It is open until 3am on Thursday - Saturday, and maybe Wednesday too. Its typically a hot spot for people after the bar scene and is usually very fun. read more

Well we ordered our pizza fine, this time. In the past I have been put on hold for over an hour, I have called back and tried again and still no answer just HOLD. This time we ordered our food and they said it would be about 45-hour max. An hour later and we still have none of our food. We had a simple order. A medium pizza, fries, and a salad. As someone who has worked at many restaurants, the amount of time this simple order took is unacceptable. I would be fired for service like this. Our food was FRIGID when it got to us. Again this is not the first time that my time has been wasted by this company. I am upset. If you are going to order expect nothing but cold food and a long wait. read more
