Service is always top notch! And even when I was late in ordering breakfast, they made it happen!

The donuts are some of the worst I have ever had. I paid $17 for 5 donuts, took one bite of each and my wife did the same and even my 8 year old didn't like them (other than the glazed). So we ended up throwing 80% of them out. Seriously the second worst donuts I've ever had (the other was a place called 5 sisters). The burger was a lot of flavors - not always in a good way...it was just like taking 17 things and smashing them together in a burger and the burger itself was MASSIVELY overcooked...it was 5 minutes past any pink left and just short of a hockey puck. The chicken sandwich was fine, again...lots of flavors, but not any consistent flavor in a way that made sense or was really good just more different flavors. The waffle fries with cheese were deconstructed and there was some bbq sauce that I still don't know what it was supposed to go on (that being said it was the best thing I got). And the meal was $70?!?!?!? Yikes. Hard pass on this place. read more

They don't miss. I can't lie, at this point, almost every time I come back home, I have to stop at District Donuts Sliders & Brew. Lupe Fiasco said hip-hop changed his life... I'm not saying District Donuts did the same for me but I'm also not not saying that. This was only my second time here, but I already knew what I was coming back for: that almighty hot chicken & honey butter biscuit. If you don't know, it's a French toast-style biscuit with a 'hot' fried chicken breast and honey butter. Yeah... it's as crazy as it sounds. And yes it lives up to it. I'll admit--it was a little big-back of me to try to take that down solo, so I shared it.... This time We also tried a salmon kolache (really solid), and I grabbed a ramen kolache to go. Creative menu, that actually works, nothing feels like a gimmick, like it has become at Crumbl Cookies [yea they caught a stray] The space itself is clean, well-designed, and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They were even training a new hire while keeping everything moving smoothly, which says a lot. I enjoyed this place so much I ended up buying a shirt and a bag of $20 coffee. I never do that, but I needed to take something with me that I couldn't eat, just to represent some good food and my hometown. Some of the best breakfast-style food in the city, easily. Visiting from out of town and looking for a fast casual place to grab dinner, what a gem of a restaurant we found! We tried the burger sliders and fries, the hot honey chicken French toast biscuit, and a white chocolate mocha donut. Everything here was amazing! The dinner was freshly made to order and the donuts even at the end of the night were so fresh! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was seating inside with good vibes. Definitely will have to come back to try the breakfast menu and the coffee. They also had their own fountain sodas that were all very very good! There is also more of a coffee shop vibe to this spot and it seems the service is better overall than what you get at the original location. Me and the family was just out shopping and I seen District next door so we decide to go get a quick snack. The workers greeted us as we walked in the door all of them were super cool! Me and the wife love a good Vietnamese Coffee, I spotted there was one on the menu so we had to get it. It's the Hot Honey Butter Chicken biscuit for me-everyday, all day. Don't get me wrong the food here is delicious and the beverage options are plentiful. I found the item that heals my heart and brings me comfort so I'm partial. The space is casual and can be chatty which is great when you're with friends or family. On an outing in an established comfortable relationship this is great. If you want to test how comfortable the relation is--this is your place. It's also a cool place to take littles. 4/18/2022 I've been going to district for years strictly for donuts and coffee which they've mastered beautifully. I decided hey it's time to try out breakfast. I chose the hot honey buttered chicken biscuit. At first glance I wasn't sure how I was going to conquer this delicious massive sandwich in front of me. So I cut it in half and proceeded to dive in. The chicken was seasoned and fried so well. Warning it is a chicken thigh and not a chicken breast so it is darker meat. I had no issues with it. The biscuit was amazing think church's biscuit but way bigger and loads more of butter and honey with a kick of heat. It wasn't to spicy but the spice was still there. I come here every so often. The donuts are a hit or miss. However, I do enjoy the variety of flavors they offer. Today, I came in because I was hungry and I needed to do a bit of studying and I knew they had tables. I tried the Chorizo Bacon Taco and fancy hash brown, and I was really impressed. Came here with my friend for breakfast before spending the day at the Botanic Gardens in City Park. I got an Iced Lavender latte and a Boston Cream Donut and he got a regular iced coffee and a donut with sprinkles. The donuts were delicious and my lavender latte was fantastic; just the right balance of floral without it tasting like soap. There is a pretty small parking lot for the restaurant, which was full, but there is plenty of street parking nearby. There is also plenty of seating inside as well as a few picnic tables outside. The donut flavors are always interesting, and from this location I ended up with lemon cream and root beer as my two donuts. Both fit the bill. Expensive, but impressive. This location is in a quieter area than the other ones (and I've been to all of them) and it's not hard to park.
