Stopped by with a friend to get tea. Love this place because they have over 80 varieties of loose leaf tea to choose from. The owner and staff take the time to explain what tea there recommend based on your preference and also health benefit that you are seeking. You can get them hot or iced and they sell 2oz tea packages to make at home. I drink a lot of tea in the winter so I'll be returning to stock up. Fun little tea spot in town. It's been a number of years since I've been here, and while this place is very different from how I remember it, it was still a fun experience. I showed up with a friend to have some tea around two in the afternoon on a Saturday. This place was empty. There was maybe one other person in there and that was yes. It was very clean, with no visible trash and quite relaxing. It's kind of odd to have a full bar set up next to a tea shop, but that definitely does not take away from the quality of the team. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the creamy earl gray with lavender and vanilla is wonderful. My only complaint is I wish the appetizers paired better with tea. You can definitely tell that this is more of bar food, than teahouse food. A little disappointing. Also, when I ordered my drinks they came in to-go cups. It would've been nice to have a real cup, especially after explaining that we were going to sit down. This was just a to-go place, then it would make sense to not serve using real dishes, but because they serve lunch and dinner it just didn't make sense. All in all, a decent little spot, but you can definitely tell them more gear towards bar than they are towards tea. read more

Still love to support the local spot by picking up a cup to-go until then! The rose black tea with cream and sweet is yummy! You can also come here for your loose leaf brew at home needs. They sell their loose leaf for you to be able to pick and create a bag, or pre packaged flavor combos. With some retail for infusers, teapots and mugs they're also a great place to get the tea enthusiast in your life a gift. It was so nice to be back at Little Leaf Tea today! I used to go there to work on my laptop pretty regularly. Between moving further away, and the pandemic, it had been a couple of years since I visited. It's still just the same, so welcoming with its calm ambiance and great tea selection. There's plenty of seating for chilling and catching up with friends, or for studying. I ordered the blue mango, lightly sweetened, and it was as delicious and refreshing as I remembered it. It's a light green tea with mango, and they add in a slice of lime to brighten it up even more. They're also serving lunch now! My friend and I went this cafe place to study. It was amazing it had just the right atmosphere for us to get some well needed studying done. We started by ordering mozzarella pesto sandwich. It was very delicious. We also tried several pots of teas from the specialty menu by the window. The cashier there was very nice and well rounded. He spoke with respect to everyone who came in. He also brought all the food to the table. And he also gave us a warning about the temperature of the teapot when he brought it out every time. So then lunchtime came and passed and my friend and I were still feeling adventurous so we decided to get some macaroons and although we had ordered several sandwiches several pots of tea and several macaroons and came back for more he did not judge or cringe at our ravishing appetite. I stopped by Whole Foods for a salad, but also wanted a Thai Tea. I looked up yelp and found this tea place. I've seen this location before, but, I've never went inside for tea. The place was surprisingly full for the mid afternoon. The structure is very similar to Teazers, however, they also sell food. I ordered a large Thai Tea with bobas. This came out to $6.50...this seems a bit steep for a drink. The tea was good, it didn't have a ton of bobas and it wasn't the creamiest, sweetest or BEST thai tea I've ever had... just right on par with what a thai tea will taste like. But, I'd be interested to try one of their specialty teas or food the next time I come in. read more

Great low key place. Very nice workers. I was recommended the turkey pastrami sandwich and I bought it along with the tiger spice chai tea latte aI was also given a rewards card for my first time being there. The spiced Chai latte was amazing! It was the first time I had something like that. It along with the boba and whip cream made it thr best! The turkey pastrami sandwich was delicious too! They had it with seasoning and tomatoes. They normally do mayo and mustard. I did without both. The sandwich didn't need it anyways. I look forward to going back to try more. I had only been here a few times but it's never a bad experience. I took my mom last night because she's never tried boba before and this was fairly nearby. It's always clean, kept up, well put together, and just a nice calm environment. I always see people when I pass in the early afternoon but it was pretty empty for a Saturday night(which isn't bad at all!) We took our time ordering, there was plenty of questions but the girl helping us was so nice and patient, especially with my prediabetic moms requests. I loved the coconut and strawberry teas we did! This place looked promising and they have a very wide variety of tea available, both for ready made to drink at the store or take away and also to buy loose lead teas. We tried their lavegrey and lychee black tea. Unfortunately, they were not good at all. I've had both lavegrey and lychee black from other places and it is not even close with this location. So perhaps they are good with their other flavors? But lavegrey was one of their top recommended choices here. The only thing I liked about this place is their decor and the cozy feel the cafe was. A small place with great food. It never disappoints every time we eat here or for take out. The selections at the restaurant menu are awesome. We have our own favorites such as butter grilled shrimp, garlic rosemary chicken, garlic pepper pasta, mushroom risotto, bibimbap and spicy pork belly. Forget Teazers people, because Little Leaf Tea (LLT) has the same sort of business concept like its casual yet comfy nice seats perfect for hangout and studying, wide range of tea selection and fusion drinks, but the huge difference between LLT and Teazers is that they serve sincere tea, that's refreshing and isn't overly sweeten, its also fairly priced, and the cherry on the cake is that LLT offers great customer service from their tea specialist or barista who actually cares about the drinks they make. Im not saying Teazers is bad, but just to put things into perspective LLT is the good girl at college while Teazers looks like that pretentious whore you don't want to associate yourself with, and hence why I am now a fan of LLT. I tried their Jasmine Honey $3.95- medium size and it was the perfect thirst quencher for this hot summer August day in Fresno, where temperatures is blaring at 105 degrees. The drink has that refine taste from an A-grade Jasmine tea leaf that was brewed perfectly, the taste was very crisp and the aroma from the fresh jasmine tea leaf was prominent making this drink an utter pleasure, plus the perfect dollop of honey was applied to the drink, giving this drink the perfect natural sweetness, that doesn't over power the drink- I did of course request for a less sweeten drink, and the drink specialist listened (Lyndsie E). I thought the drink price was really fair for the price for under $4, I ordered a small and the drink looks like it was served in a large size cup- I thought it was a great deal. Just to compare, the same drink with the same size at Teazers would have cost me more than $4. The experience was further sweeten by my tea maker -Lyndsie E, she was gracious, smiled through out and was very helpful in recommending me a drink and actually listened to my order- I got less sweet like how I ordered, its very refreshing in comparison to the snooty service I usually encounter at teazers and the lack of listening with the sweetness level - too sweet at teazers. Overall I would be back for more, because this place is genuinely a great tea place. read more

Finally, a great tea place on the North side of town! It opened about 2 weeks ago and has a huge variety of tea, tasty snacks, and various other tea related things to purchase. There sandwiches are really good too, I believe they get delivered fresh everyday. I really like the location too, it's right on the corner and has nice seating outside. I absolutely love little leaf tea! They have the whole variety of tea from all over the world...and I always end up having more than 2 kinds and stay there longer than I initially planned. Great service, very neat, and local art work they always have is my favorite. George and Kiemi are both knowledgeable, very helpful picking the kinds of tea you may like...and they are great at it! I already have too many favorites thanks to them. I am originally from the town in Japan where we are famous for green tea, and I grew up drinking tea especially green every day. And their variety of green tea, and green tea based drinks are my favorite. I was always conservative when it comes to how I drink green tea, and was skeptical at first when I tried mango-blue and other kinds with green in it...but they were absolutely great. That was my new discovery that green tea was compatible with lots of other flavors! Soba, mango-blue, roasted matte are my favorites...and I am up for more adventures...:) read more

Upon arriving to Little Leaf Tea, I was surprised at how big the place was! Being a newly tea convert (although I still love my coffee) I enjoyed their extensive menu. My girlfriends both got iced teas and I tried out a special herbal house hot tea. Pretty yummy! The service is friendly (George is the best!) but the teas are a little pricey - but that's how it is with most tea houses. There is plenty of room to sit - which is very convenient, and Little Leaf Tea even offers refreshing snacks. Try their BLT croissant sandwich, pretty fresh! Wished I live closer, I would probably go more often =D read more

I've driven passed this place a million times since I've moved out here (6 years ago.. LOL) Always curious. I guess I never really had a reason to stop in, until now -- and I'm SO GLAD I did. Driving around town, thinking of place to study I happened to stumble across The Little Leaf Tea and figured, why not? The owner and the worker behind the counter definitely know their teas. The girl working behind the counter is so animated and helpful, it was cute. I had no idea what to order .. so I asked for "Something sweet, iced, more on the fruity side. I want that cream/milky consistency." HAHAHA!! She suggested the Monk Blend, which I ordered in a large. And boy, was she ON-POINT! It cost me roughly $4.30, which wasn't too bad. If only I can sample them all! The venue itself is very spacious, and perfect for studying alone or with a study group. Definitely a hidden gem & definitely will be back. read more

I've been to this place a couple times because it is near my house and previously I have been in love. However today was kind of a weird experience. I got Bora Bora mango tea. The tea seemed very watered down , lukewarm with ice , and while there were some it felt lacking in flavor. I wish it was a lot stronger than it was. Also ordered the Italian sandwich and the food was very very good albeit lukewarm. I would have preferred my panini to be warmer. I was also irritated in the lack of food choices that were available. I went on a Sunday afternoon they were already out of two of their menu items and it also took the servers some time to figure out that they were out of these items. So waiting 10 minutes for my food but having them tell me that it was out was kind of of a downer. To their credit they did offer to replace my meal or give me credit. Overall the place is cute some teas are a hit and miss I will be back but this visit was not one of my favourites. read more

Liked the tea shop but it was dirty and they seemed to be short staffed. The drinks were good and the girls very friendly. Their overstuffed 'arm chairs' are collapsed and broken down without any padding. You're basically sunk down and sitting on boards that are covered in leather where, I suppose, the padding once was. They only appear inviting but are actually a hindrance to comfort and the elderly. The dinner we had in the restaurant lacked any depth of service. Despite our reservation and not being very busy, we felt uninvited. Our waiter wasn't helpful or friendly and didn't check on us really at all. I ordered an extra risotto for 'us to share' and it was basically dumped on the table without any utensil to share with my parents. He put it down and immediately walked quickly away. We asked for Sweet and Low and it never came. I got up and walked into the tea shop and had to ask for it myself. The food was good but not great. Our waiter was half a notch up better than self-serve. He didn't even attempt to be personal, friendly or engage us. Of course I left a tip, but it was out of mercy, not service. I wasn't left with a good impression. The folks sitting at the bar were getting progressively louder throughout our dinner as they became more intoxicated. Thankfully, as they were calling for 'shots' we were heading out the door! I will go back to check more tea out but will skip the restaurant side of the establishment. -G read more
