Located in the bustling Arts District, this place is an absolute gem in every sense of the word! Having just returned from a holiday trip to London where we splurged on $600 tickets and saw the new "Cabaret" revival on the West End, we were intrigued to see the same musical being performed locally right here in Las Vegas. We decided to buy the $50 VIP tickets to check it out. Now I know you guys won't believe me when I tell you this, but the MRT production was almost just as good as the West End production. Yes, I am serious. The MRT singers and dancers were terrific, and while the production values were charmingly low-budget, they did a lot with very, very little. I still cannot believe the bargain price of our tickets, as we were seated at a small table very close to the stage. I'm not sure how the seating is laid out for other productions, but the venue is so intimate that there isn't a bad seat in the house. It did look like the regular seating was a bit crammed thought, so I'd recommend paying extra for the VIP table if you're able. Parking was a bit of a pain since its the Arts District, but we managed. Make sure you pay for extra time when you park because the meter police WILL get you. I don't' know how they always seem to know, but we have had our fair share of parking tickets downtown, LOL. Again: make sure you overpay for parking! You have been warned! The theater is located near so many groovy bars and restaurants, so it's easy to make a night of it both pre-show and after-party. Go down early for dinner and drinks, then stay later for a couple of cocktails or beers at one of the stellar local bars next door. The theater also has a small concession cooler up front with pre-packaged drinks. The theater itself has a small snack bar (buy a soda or a surprisingly tasty canned wine or beer to at least to help 'em keep the doors open, we did) and a teeny lobby. We checked in with the cheerful, welcoming hostess and she directed us to our table. There's one very small bathroom in the venue, so go as soon as you arrive or you'll be waiting in a very long line to pee. They did not provide table service, we had to go get our own drinks and bring them back to our seat. The sound and lighting was very good during the production of "Cabaret," and we were just blown away by the talent and quality of the performers. The costumes and choreography were charmingly low budget, but it really added to the overall experience. The venue puts on all sorts of shows all year, and we can't wait to return. As two former theater kids and total pop culture nerds, my hubby and I are SOLD on this place. We will continue to support them in the future, and I can't wait to attend more events. We actually just went to their holiday original musical production, "The Blanche DeBris Emergency Xmas Broadcast" and just loved how fun and goofy it was! Once we were let in and our tickets checked, we grabbed a drink from their little bar. It had canned beers, we went with the water and some red vines. Because we had the VIP seats they showed us where to sit, which was basically on the stage lol We are a little more shy so we moved to the back corner table, and I'm very glad we did. We were near the locker setup and the actors were sitting at our table, interacting with us a bit, and acting right next to us for some scenes. I loved our seat options! Now, the show. Wow! I laughed so much, I enjoyed every song they performed, and it was so original for being an unauthorized parody. The cast was amazing, and from what I could tell, quite a few were also in the Scream parody. I 50000% would come back to see more shows. Looking at the site, they have diverse programming and many different types of shows that they put on. They were all so funny, so talented, and it feels more special to know these are people local to our city. There's some paid parking lots right behind the theater, so getting there isn't difficult at all, even for being downtown. Please support local theater and check this place out. You will absolutely not be disappointed!

However, I would now highly recommend it to anyone visiting Las Vegas with family, especially those looking for a wholesome experience that people of different ages and language backgrounds can enjoy. I went to Las Vegas with my parents, who don't understand English, but they were truly impressed by the show and enjoyed the performance very much. The Blue Man Group's performance doesn't rely heavily on verbal communication. Instead, it focuses on physical expressions, visual effects, music, and creative performances, making it accessible for people who may not speak or understand English well but still want to enjoy a great show. I loved the stage design, the unique interactions with the Blue Man Group, and the humor throughout the performance. It was a fun, memorable experience, and I'm glad I got the chance to see it!

One down side is that the staffing level is usally pretty low, but they do their best to get you checked in, seated and drink orders. Other downsides are the drinks are not spectacular, and for this particular show they really had the music too loud and could of got just a good or better result with it lower. For these few reasons, I would say the venue is 3 Stars rather than 4 Stars. The Black Girl Magic and Burlesque Show itself was very unique and entertaining, and we would say it's a 4-5 Stars overall. The 5 girls were all beautiful and intriguing, and their dance and show routines were very entertaining amd impressive along with their costumes. The make their way through the crowd so make sure you take cash to get funny money for tipping. The also have a routine at the end call "King or Queen For The Day" where if it's a special occasion, you can pay a fee to go up on stage, and be the center of attention as the 5 lovely and sexy girls dance around you. It is quite unique and entertaining. They do allow photos and videos during the show which I was surprised, but I elected not to take any rather just enjoy the fun and wonderful entertainment provide by these lovely and beautiful ladies!! The only thing that was noticed was the transitions were slow and long between acts due to costume changes so having videos or an MC between them would be an improvement. We definitely would recommend seeing this unique show to couples, groups and even single individuals since it is a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

While I'm on a quest to see all the shows in Vegas, I will say that drag isn't my thing because so much of it is hypersexualized and normalizes degrading labels towards women (ex: b*tch this and hunty that.) Anyway, this show was pretty tame and only a few "b*tch" words thrown around. It wasn't over the top sexual despite the 21+ age restriction for the show. The show is basically covers of songs and that's it. I had to Google one of the performers to see if it was really a male drag performer because he can truly mimic a ridiculously convincing female soprano voice. Not a whole lot of chit chat between songs. Felt a little on the shorter side. Chairs are comfortable as it's now in the Athena Showroom at Alexis Park Resort across from Virgin. Visited March 2023.

It is an excellent venue that offers intimacy and a great view, regardless of your seat. I have sat in the balcony and on the rear floor and had an unobstructed view of the show. The staff is professional and well-organized, and parking is usually $10.00 at the Westgate garage on nights with a concert, but it's free on non-event days. Another thing I like about the Westgate is that they offer free entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Do yourself a favor and check out the San Fernando Band, who performs on Friday and Saturday nights between 8:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. The female singer sang, " Neither One of Us ( Wants to be the first to say Goodbye) better than Gladys Knight! I have to give the Westgate International showroom five stars because it's an excellent place to see a concert!

It was good seats but Manilow for the most part will be right in the center looking straight. He has a teleprompter he reads off but he is amazing to watch still. I do feel like one of the younger kids here in my 50s. But who cares we're all here to celebrate and reminisce the good ol times from the great songs like Mandy and copacabana. (Last two songs he will play) There were no other openers. The bar was expensive. The ac is not cool. But I did enjoy it. Go watch if you never seen him live. I wouldn't say not all the seats are great even though it's a small theatre. First 10 rows would maybe be the best and of course the second level first row would be good as well. The sound here can be a little echoy. After being in so many concerts in my lifetime. I would say they could use a little adjustment in the sound department. But visually everything was fine. The bathroom is across the way in the casino. The second most crowded place post show.

The seats were comfortable, and we enjoyed waving the provided glow sticks. We were a bit surprised to see the giant monitor which scripted movement, jokes, song lyrics and more. Other shows we've been fortunate enough to attend felt more organic...maybe we just didn't see those monitors. It's Vegas so we saw all manners of dress, but in general folks dressed up more than we usually see for an 8pm Friday show. One last note, the women's restroom is up an escalator and down is via a beautiful curving staircase. Not many stalls so maybe stop before entering the theater.
