It has lots of Eastern European products along with a fresh bakery and fresh prepared foods aisle. Some products are cheaper than say Publix and others were more expensive. But you won't find some of the European ethnic foods like a gazillion types of sardines and olives, and pickled products to choose from in your mainstream grocery. If you are looking for a certain European grocery item, chances are they will have it here. They even have a fresh fish section. It's freezing in here so bring a jacket/sweater. I really enjoyed browsing the aisles making note of some hard to find items for my next culinary adventure. The aisles are very narrow however so best to come early in the morning at opening. They have a fish market where we can get fresh fish cleaned and cut in a way you like. The only minor complaint was that nobody was there to assist when I went. Maybe they were under staffed. I will say their aisles are very narrow, only allowing for enough space for one way traffic flow. But their shelves are nearly organized compared to Mango Tree supermarket in Davie. Their produce section is small but they really pack a whole lot of unique produce that are hard to source elsewhere. For example they have Lion's mane mushrooms that I have not seen anywhere else. Their produce is fresh and reasonably priced. They have great meat section and all the kimchi and Korean banchan ingredients with some already prepped items available for purchase. The fresh fish section is very limited and nothing to write home about so will skip. But there are lots of frozen food items drinks, desserts, bags of rice and a few fast food restaurant stalls at the mouth of the entrance. Now when I'm cooking and find I need coconut milk or bean sprouts or crab sticks, I can run over to Kimchi mart in a pinch.

The main draw is the Italian influence on some of the goods here. You can find original pastas, olive oils, beverages, flours, cookies, snacks, olives, etc...all imported from Italy. So if you have a recipe that calls for certain Italian ingredients, and you can not find it in a regular grocery store, you might check Nino Market to see if they carry it. Their produce section is small, carrying the basic bananas, apples, limes, herbs, etc. They also have a prepared food section for people on the go and most of them are prepared at Roberta's and then sold here. I wish them good luck as they are a convenient place to grab some quick groceries if you are a neighbor or visitor to the area.

There aren't many real Italian markets in Broward. I place Nino's comparable in selection, a notch better quality and much better pricing than those in the eastside, Oakland/Commercial area. Basically, to do better, at a higher price, one has to truck down to 17th and deal with a barrage of political nonsense from the owner. Worthy of note: prices in general are good, brands are authentic Italian, not marketing inspired branding from US food giants, the fresh pastas are to die for, lots of items difficult to find in other stores, good pizza by the slice is always a winner.
