Server was lovely, food was terrible. I've been wanting to try it since it opened. Glad I did. Won't be back.

It's a good spot for date night, or a special occasion, or just when you want a properly- and artfully-prepared crepe and coffee. Their new location in Dacula is a bit further from home for me, but it is worth the drive - and longer. They have an expanded menu featuring a variety of French classics. They still do offer galette and crepe menu items. This new location also features bar service, and their menu has a short list of specialty cocktails and TGG versions of standard mixes. Amuse Bouche: a fresh watermelon gazpacho (served in a shooter) with a tiny crispy wafer topped with Gruyère and apple preserve. Wild! I ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon. One of our party ordered the Sea Bass and another went light and ordered a selection of appetizers. They reported excellent preparation and flavors. Mine was extremely well prepared, rich and full flavored. The dishes were presented like works of art. It was the luck of the day that beams of setting sunlight shone through the curtains and illuminated our meals just as they were placed on the table. The spiraled lemon on the crab cake caught sun like a stained glass window. The beef arrangement on my side looked like a tiny forest, with tender boulders of mushrooms and meat, fallen trees of carrots, a little shrub of Swiss chard, and a sapling sprig of fresh rosemary. But for real - artistic musings aside, this was some damn good food. I thoroughly enjoyed the main course, and of course, I had to get a crepe for dessert. Tout de Chocolat was such a perfect finish, with freshly toasted almonds and warm buttery caramel to offset wave after wave of chocolate flavors. I always love the atmosphere they create. The owner was in the house and she is always such a delight to encounter. The Galloping Galette should be on your short list for great restaurant experiences in Gwinnett County.

Got in right away, might say something. Ordered a margarita and beer and put in knowing we wanted escargot and got our drinks. My was not drinkable with too much lime juice. The waitress took care of the drink and I ordered a tequila pineapple juice. Perfect. Shaken not stirred. The amouse bush was delicious and a great start. Waited a long time between courses IMHO. Did get the French onion soup which was actually very good. Just needed a pinch of salt Ordered the scallops and the duck special. Very rich but so flavorful and want you coming back for more. Unami bomb. The duck side was this unchcous polenta that ate more like a pudding. The finishing touch was the pear crepe with whipped cream, ice cream and chocolate sauce. We will be back and I want to see if we can them to a 5

I got the lemon pepper wings. They are dry rubbed. They were crispy, well seasoned, and juicy. I've made them at home and now I don't have to. My husband got the Katie's special flavor wings. They were wet. It was a mixture of garlic and buffalo and something else. He liked it a lot. The wings were served with celery and wet wipes. We got ranch dressing cause we don't care for blue cheese. Mike did a great job. Drinks: we ordered the pineapple upside down cocktail as a shot x 2 delicious both times. Tasted just like a pineapple upside down cake. We ordered the Piña colada: Delicious. The Havana Breeze: Delicious. The Café Con Leche Martini: Delicious. This is because Kaitlyn is a great bartender. Attentive. The bathrooms are clean. They are still cramped but that's the space constraints not fault of Katie's. The floors are not greasy and slippery. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. The music is perfect volume. They were hosting poker night and it was a decent crowd. Not loud. Everything was just nice. And these days nice is wonderful. It was a great upgrade from our experience 1 year ago and a welcomed change. Thanks Adam for convincing us to try this hometown gem. We will be back.

They have a large back patio where the often have food trucks and live music. We sat down looked over the menu and Brook our host made the experience amazing. He was the best. Brook went over the menu. And like always when I visit a restaurant for the first time. I asked what are your suggestions from the menu. I was already eyeballing the Portobello burger and cowboy burger before he suggesed them. So, we chose those 2 along with the onion rings and spicy fried pickles. I didn't get the cooks name but she was great. We had to tell her she made that food RIGHTTTT. OMG, everything was delicious. Both burger was full of flavor and juicy. Now, I don't normally don't go for onion rings that's Misters thing. But when a tried one I kept trying them. The chipotle ranch sauce with it was the best. My spicy fried pickle was fried to perfection. I also got a beer. Brook suggested a few for me to try. I ended up getting the Bravazzi Liomonatta. Which is light and refreshing. Delicious!!! I also didn't get the other gentleman's name who made sure everything was good with our visit. Y'all the whole staff tonight was great. We left with a full happy stomach and the assurance that we WILL return. I think this will be our later night spot.

The single burger was literally one of the best burgers EVER!!!! The chili cheese fries- BUSSIN'! Oh and the Fried Pickles will burn for a minute, but gooood! Will be back!

Picture a place that plays loud music that travels far from the restaurant. It doesn't sound very loud while you're there. But it travels far...literally a mile and a half away at a friend's house, we could hear the bass at midnight. The place doesn't serve food and to get around that, they bring in food trucks. The food is not great. It's hard to describe this place. It's dark inside like it's trying to be a place where people dance, but nobody dances. The inside is very empty. They share a fire pit with other restaurants. There's a rock playground for children to climb on that's made of plastic... but it is in the wrong place, since it's a place where people drink beer and get drunk. It's a weird vibe. I don't think it adds anything to the neighborhood or to the ambience of that little area of restaurants. As a matter of fact, it's like going down to Tijuana, with every shop playing loud music trying to get your attention. Go to Tequila Mama .. that's a much better way to spend your evening and that's right next-door.

Probably would not order again. The hamburger was HUGE and the best burger I've tasted in quite a while. The Monte Cristo was also very good with the jelly. It was sweet and yummy. I ordered a side salad with the vinaigrette and it was not great. There was a lot of stuff in the salad, but not a lot of lettuce. I would not order a salad again. We were there on a Wednesday evening and it was not very busy. The service was good as our server checked on us several times. The food came out within about 25 minutes of ordering. I look forward to another visit and trying more items in the menu. ***Or we may go on a Monday for $10.99 hamburgers!

I used a birthday coupon for a free appetizer and got us the onion rings.... why? Because they are the BEST ONION RINGS I've ever had and they are my favorite appetizer! My next favorite place for rings is Bare Bones in Buford. My friend also said they were OUTSTANDING so if you've never had them here you are definitely missing out! Also, my favorite cocktail is the All American margarita here. I don't even like margaritas but I LOVE this one. Not only is it only $8.75 for the fishbowl size it is a beautiful layered drink and I can get a sugar rim. I don't think they use a run of the mill mixer in it because it never gives me heartburn and every other place that I've had one did, except D'Floridan's watermelon one which is excellent too! Our server Hayley (if I remember correctly I think that was her name) was great. Checking on us regularly and we told her we had catching up to do so would she mind if we took up her table for a couple of hours (it was not busy) she said please do! Of course, we tipped her really well because both myself and my friend have been servers in the past. My friend had the big salad and not a morsel was left on her plate she complained of being too full due to the onion rings and salad! I had the Monte Cristo with fire fries and told her to bring a to go box for mine because it would be dinner. Both of us had to try the fire fries and they were scrumptious but you must like spicy because they are...Hayley asked me if I wanted a side of ranch when she took my order and I said yes because I had had them before and the ranch cools them down. My friend thought they were sweet potato fries boy was she surprised and she actual took a sip of her ranch dressing rather quickly! The vibe here is great good music not too loud so that you have to scream to converse. Lots of tvs especially in the bar area so I bet watching the World Cup here would be a blast! They run great specials like Tuesdays pizzas are $12 and another night Bogo burgers and that's the night for trivia which is also a blast! This is one of my favorite bar type places to go to. My friend said she couldn't wait to bring her husband. I see a trivia night in our near future! I've posted pics of the onion rings before so I've included a Pic of my Monte Cristo. It was delicious heated up in my air fryer last night. Give them a try you won't be disappointed!
