I came last friday with my cousin that was visiting me. It took like 5 minutes to get seated when restaurant had hardly any ppl in there. The server we were supposed to get never got our drinks in and never showed up and we had to end of getting someone else. He got us our drinks and our order in, he was in fact very attentive and nice. Food was mid ngl. There's better seafood restaurants. Overall the guy that was our server had said his shift ended at 3 so he had to leave and that we will have someone else checking up on us. I'm assuming it was the same girl that was supposed to be our server from the beginning but again she never came to check up on us like ever. We needed a to go box or bag. We waited like 7 minutes just to look around and no one was around only the guy that was picking up the trash and cleaning the tables. We had no other choice but to ask him if we can get a to go bag. If i could give this place a 0 i would. I tried this place out just to see if they were good because I pass by this place all the time. I ordered a seafood bag with shrimp. sausages, 1 potato and 1 corn. The shrimp were very bland and tasted old as well as the sausage. The corn was very hard. I ordered the twisted sauce/medium. It tasted as if there was no sauce in the bag whatsoever. After eating , my stomach started hurting and I've thrown up multiple times . Before eating this crap I was perfectly fine. We used to love going to juicy crab but haven't felt that way in a long time. Twisted crab is a much better option in my opinion and I'm glad it's close to us. Our waiter was cool (not great but not bad either), he used a lot of slang and disappeared for a minute but overall wasn't bad I think he just needs more customer service training. The ambiance was great, music wasn't too loud, decor was on point. The food tho! The sauce makes it everytime and the combo sauce was great with made the food great as well (which is why they put it in the bag!). Oh the drinks are pretty good too!! Customer service isn't their strongest suit. Most of the time that we were there it felt as if we were an inconvenience. As if they were doing us a favor by hosting us and feeding us for free. My brother recommended the place and had been several times so there's that. We were a large party celebrating my mom's birthday. Reservations were made with plenty of days for them to accommodate us. We had two waiters and it took a long time for them to start serving us after we were seated. Just the basic introductions and getting drink orders were very slow to come. So much so that my cousin and I decided to go to the bar first. After waiting quite a while, somebody finally came up to us and told us that we couldn't order from the bar because we had a large party. Even for alcoholic beverages. Annoyed again. My fries came out cold. Not room temperature, cold. How long were they sitting there before somebody decided to bring them out? Food should be served as it's ready. The drink I ordered finally came out after a couple of reminders. Not worth the price I paid, at all. The guy who was serving my side of the table was not attentive at all. He would disappear for long periods of time. We even asked the woman who was serving the other half for assistance twice and somehow she was able to help right away. For me, the customer service isn't worth me patronizing this establishment again. I had a good time but that was because it was mom's birthday. I will say that most people didn't have an issue with their food. Just the time that it took to arrive and the lack of communication between. One person's food didn't come out at all. Mistakes will happen with this large of a party but the communication piece was missing. Customer service - A low 2 Food - 3.5 Giving 3 starts overall is pretty generous. Waiting 20 mins no one approach to take our drink orders or starters. Bad customer service

We were feeling seafood and I love my shrimp boils. So, we ordered the 1/2 pound shrimp boil with heads and 1/2 pound shrimp boil without heads with the twisted seafood seasoning. You can choose your spice level out of 5 ranges. Boils come with potatoes and corn but you can sub for more potatoes or more corn. And we ordered the fried oyster basket with seasoned fries. Overall experience was pretty good. Flavors were great in my opinion. Depending on those who like their boils dry or saucy, this place could be a hit or miss. They happen to make it saucy, the way I like it. The only downside is the the 1/2 pound shrimp boils didn't really fill me up...I was either super hungry or the portions were really small, and the fried oysters had a little too much breading. Prices were decent but more on the higher end but that's usually seafood. Overall, food was fresh. Server we had was super awesome! Ambience was good; interior is seaside based with fish nets, wooden interior, crab decorations. It's also way bigger on the inside than it looks. Great for small or large parties. Also, they have special events and deals; when I went it was ladies night and everything was 10% off and $5 drinks. Try it for yourself! I'd love to come back if I'm in town. We have eaten here several times in the past, but this last visit on 7/26/2025 was just very disappointing. The waitress we were given was also the bartender and she was overly involved with the bar and we did not exist. We had to get up and get our own forks, salt, pepper and I had to ask another employee for a drink refill. But the thing that really made our visit very gross was the employee dragging the garbage can all over the restaurant whenever someone finished eating. It was bad enough that someone would do something like that in a nice restaurant but doing it over and over again was sickening. I sure other patrons were not excited about having a garbage can buzz by their table every few minutes. I don't think we will be back, it was just too sickening and I do not think the restaurant inspector would approve of the garbage in the main dining area. read more

Visited on a Friday afternoon during the lunch hour. There was plenty of parking and we were able to walk right in and be seated. No wait. The host and waiter were polite and answered any questions we had. We ordered the shrimp and catfish baskets which were pretty tasty but a bit greasy based on coming right out of the Fryer. Fries were delicious though. We'd visit again, but this place is comparable to most other seafood boil spots in the county. Prices are about the same as well. It took her 15 mins to get us the check and we ordered a margarita that never came. When I asked for Togo boxes, she only gave me a bag even though I clearly had a side of rice that was full and needed a lid as well. She didn't come back once she gave us the bags, so after another 5-10 mins of waiting, I had to walk inside and have another server get me a lid. Maybe she was too focused on any tables she had inside. The food is okay - all of us had issues getting the snow crab out of the shells which screams that it wasn't fresh. We did like that they give a lot of corn and potatoes. The sauce is not really flavorful - needed more salt or something, normally when you get the house special with all sauces mixed together it's a flavor bomb but not here. Notably, they do have "happy hour" specials with discounts on certain food items and drinks. I tried the chicken tenders and calamari on the happy hour menu. The calamari was okay; I had to ask for dipping sauce to pair with it. The chicken tenders were pretty good, and a decent portion. Next, I tried a shrimp boil with eggs and broccoli with twisted sauce, medium spice. The shrimp boil fresh and tasted pretty good, but lacking sauce in the bag. It also had more spice than flavor. Will I return? No. Let me explain why! First time here today about 1:30pm The setup is weird. You come in the door, where you park and it's the back of the restaurant. There is a sign that say walk to the front to be seated. Once seated, we ordered the lobster-tail Po Boy with onion rings and catfish basket with sweet potato fries. Food took about 15mins to come out. First bite into my catfish was slimmy. It looked undercooked. I sent it back, the waiter asked if I needed it cooked more?? I said I need it cooked period. He proceeded to say the fish is cooked on a timer. 5 mins later. My food come out, the same exact fish, they actually refried the open piece of fish of bite. I brought it to the waiter attention and he said to cook new fish would have taken longer, but we added more fries. (Who trained this guy?) Now on the the lobster tail po boy. Y'all it wasn't even lobster tail. There was a shell in it. Y'all gotta see the pics. It appeared to either be snow crab leg or artificial crab. As a foodies with a love of seafood, I asked this waiter two times before ordering about the lobster tail. Both times he said it's real, you get 1 lobsters tail cut down the middle and half on each sub roll. After these two incidents we asked to speak to a manager and the host stated there wasn't a manager here. I see why this new restaurant has 3 stars. The waiter had the nerve to say " you don't want to pay for none of it or can I just discount it., as if the issue was money! We didn't receive a discount we paid our bill in full plus tip and left. We checked out this place and was impressed. With so many restaurants to choose from, we wanted seafood that was close to us. The menus have changed, so don't use the online one. We ordered the crab and shrimp with extra corn and sausage. It was delicious. We had the Twisted sauce and it was just right in seasoning, not to hot or spicy.
