Had a good first experience at Off the Rails. The interior is immaculate. A lot of thought was put into the decoration and design of this restaurant. Almost an experience in itself. Expect a wait if you go for dinner after 5, but it's usually no longer than 20 mins. Service does a good job turning tables quickly. The food is good and fresh and tasty. We will be back!

Our first time coming for lunch. They have a lunch menu or can still order off main menu. I got the three taco plate. I love their crispy shells with the shredded chicken. It comes with three tacos and a side of rice and beans. My husband got the fajita lunch plate which was huge! The steak was so tender. We started with a side of the small guacamole that was perfectly seasoned. We were sat right away. They are always so packed out at dinner. I actually loved it at lunch! The stained glass windows were beautiful!

Wow! So impressed with the food, the service, the ambience! Set in historic Buford, this delightful cantina and a full bar, tables and booth service with an energetic and well home wait staff. Service is efficient and courteous. Jacob was excellent, knowledgeable about the food and allergens. Street parking is plentiful and the avenue offers a great area to stroll before or after your meal. come for a date night or bring a gaggle of friends! You won my be disappointed.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. It was my first visit and my husband's second. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and had a unique charm. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. Our server, Ryan, was friendly, attentive, and had great timing throughout our meal. We started with the cowboy queso--definitely a must-try! While the menu is a bit limited, it offers a variety of creative and distinctive dishes that go beyond your typical Mexican restaurant fare. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Very large restaurant with lots of seating. We liked the decor. The server was new so we wasn't too familiar the menu and kept having to go ask questions but she was nice. We told her we wanted to drink first and would order after a while, but she kept asking if we were ready to order. The passionfruit margarita was good. I liked that there were multiple margarita flavors and options. They also had a nice cocktail menu. The shrimp taco left a lot to be desired. It was cold, small shrimp with no flavor. I expected grilled or fried shrimp which of typical of most shrimp tacos. My husband had the carne asada. It was flavorful but needed more onions. The tortillas that came with it were nice and fresh.

First, let's talk about the ambience, this is 10 out of 10. Such a cool place the stain glass windows are beautiful. This place has character. Now let's talk about the margaritas A+, good and strong and taste perfect. The food, delicious. I got the tostadas which I will definitely be getting again. This is a cool place.

"There's something magical about rooftops. You feel like you're in 'Mary Poppins."…read moreGeorge Clarke There really is something special about being on a rooftop on a perfect summer evening, and it's great to have it right in downtown Sugar Hill. I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

We walked around and finally ran into a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wished inside or outside. The only area festive was inside a closed igloo and no heaters were on outdoors which was just a tad too cool for me despite the super nice weather that day. It would have been so to sit outside but without the warmth of the heaters we headed inside. We placed our order and explained we were just there for a pre-dinner drink and wanted to check out the venue so we didn't leave our tab open but we were quickly served the fabulous taking drinks on their menu(s). The Old Fashioned was on the regular menu and the Russian was on their seasonal tabletop menu. Server was very nice and took photos for some ladies we met. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star is they claim they are big on hospitality but yet we were not acknowledged upon arrival. Many restaurants and even some retail stores have a way to ensure they say hello/welcome immediately when you enter and without a hostess - the mindset should be that the bar or wait staff have a way to immediately say hello or welcome so those who have never been feel welcomed as well as those who frequently come. It would be nice to have a more festive decor for the holidays but that didn't affect my review; just a statement to say that the entire Sugar Hill area was pumping and themed with the holiday spirit then we walked in the only area decorated was not even accessible nor was it offered as an option to enjoy.

The best pop & rock classics are played later in the evening. The pianists are fun, funny, and good at what they do. Consummate entertainers. We laughed, cried, listened, and sang along. If they don't know the song, they will still play it if you give them a minute. They go to the back and listen to a few bars, perhaps read the lyrics then come out and perform. No refunds. So we sat at a high top for 4. It was their Thursday BOGO wing night. Order from a good selection of flavours but no later than quarter to 8. The evening wasn't terribly busy but the understaffed bar was having some challenges. We gave our orders after a bit of a wait. They arrived piping hot and they were all good. The service was great if you have a little patience. It was a great night out with our friends

This is a very cool spot with creative, upscale flavors and excellent presentation. We ordered the bacon biscuit with grits and the avocado toast, and everything was absolutely delicious. The grits were the standout item for me. We learned they are made with locally sourced grits from a North Georgia mill, and the cheese combination created an incredibly creamy texture and rich flavor. The coffee was excellent as well and was served in a large mug that we really appreciated. We also discovered that the coffee is sourced from a small local roaster in Johns Creek, which fits perfectly with the restaurant's commitment to supporting local businesses. The dining area is somewhat small, but there is bar seating and outdoor seating available, which provides additional options. We also found out they have a second location in Johns Creek near our neighborhood, so we'll definitely be giving that one a try soon. Great food, excellent coffee, and a strong commitment to local sourcing make this a place worth visiting. We'll be back! BAM!

The UWT salad was just ok, the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread was almost uneditable, the Korean Shortribs were not any better. The flatbread was swimming in buffalo sauce and blue cheese.
