Stopped by here for lunch the other day and completely forgot to write a review. Actually, it was a late bite to eat with a client who wanted a beer so we stopped in here grab something cold to drink and a bite. Pretty busy place, always seems to be a crowd and lots of TVs. I grabbed me a beer and some of those shotgun wings and they were really tasty., juicy and great flavor! My buddy got a mushroom burger, which looked pretty big, but he loved it and said the fries were great as well. First time here, never get over to the side of the freeway, but have to say I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back for a burger!!! Good service, clean, good value. Our first visit here and it will not be our last. Our main courses were delicious! We started with the onion rings which were good. There was more breading than onion, but still tasty. Probably would not order again. The hamburger was HUGE and the best burger I've tasted in quite a while. The Monte Cristo was also very good with the jelly. It was sweet and yummy. I ordered a side salad with the vinaigrette and it was not great. There was a lot of stuff in the salad, but not a lot of lettuce. I would not order a salad again. We were there on a Wednesday evening and it was not very busy. The service was good as our server checked on us several times. The food came out within about 25 minutes of ordering. On a Wednesday night at 6ish, not too busy, seat right away. Our waitress was friendly and took our drink order and returned to take our order. She had the Salmon salad and I have the cheeseburger. We both enjoyed our meal. Thise two items are always consistently good on taste and cooking. The service was pretty fast. We will be back. read more

It had been a minute since I've been here so I decided to meet a friend for lunch because she's never been. Needless to say she LOVED it! I used a birthday coupon for a free appetizer and got us the onion rings.... why? Because they are the BEST ONION RINGS I've ever had and they are my favorite appetizer! My next favorite place for rings is Bare Bones in Buford. My friend also said they were OUTSTANDING so if you've never had them here you are definitely missing out! Also, my favorite cocktail is the All American margarita here. I don't even like margaritas but I LOVE this one. Not only is it only $8.75 for the fishbowl size it is a beautiful layered drink and I can get a sugar rim. I don't think they use a run of the mill mixer in it because it never gives me heartburn and every other place that I've had one did, except D'Floridan's watermelon one which is excellent too! Our server Hayley (if I remember correctly I think that was her name) was great. Checking on us regularly and we told her we had catching up to do so would she mind if we took up her table for a couple of hours (it was not busy) she said please do! Of course, we tipped her really well because both myself and my friend have been servers in the past. My friend had the big salad and not a morsel was left on her plate she complained of being too full due to the onion rings and salad! I had the Monte Cristo with fire fries and told her to bring a to go box for mine because it would be dinner. Both of us had to try the fire fries and they were scrumptious but you must like spicy because they are...Hayley asked me if I wanted a side of ranch when she took my order and I said yes because I had had them before and the ranch cools them down. My friend thought they were sweet potato fries boy was she surprised and she actual took a sip of her ranch dressing rather quickly! The vibe here is great good music not too loud so that you have to scream to converse. Lots of tvs especially in the bar area so I bet watching the World Cup here would be a blast! They run great specials like Tuesdays pizzas are $12 and another night Bogo burgers and that's the night for trivia which is also a blast! This is one of my favorite bar type places to go to. Bubba's is a pretty reliable choice for wings, burgers and traditional American fare. It's very good.

Fun casual atmosphere. Lots of tvs. Service was excellent. Great drink options. Appetizer combo was good. Excellent pkckle chips. Great flavor to their marinara and ranch dressing. Mushroom burger was really good. We'll be back to try the pizza! read more

Used to go every Monday for their burger special, for dine in only. They have great choices for burgers, served on brioche bun, with crispy fresh fries. Excellent drinks from the bar. I have finally found a good sports bar. Unfortunately this one is near my friend's house and not mine, but I'm glad that I know it's here, LOL. Bubba's is a GREAT place to meet up with friends and watch a game. So many TVs. So many. And the menu is huge, so it should satisfy most people's palate. The vibes are awesome inside. I'd happily come back. I wasn't too crazy about the chicken Parmesan sandwich, but other than that everything was really good. It definitely wasn't bad but it was just so absurdly messy that it became difficult to eat and the chicken did not fit the bread whatsoever. So you had entire sections of it with no chicken and lots of chicken hanging outside of it... yeah just kind of all over the place. Loved their fries and my drink. The dessert as well. The fruity lemonade drink was AMAZING. Didn't taste like alcohol whatsoever, I don't always finish drinks but I downed it. My friends and I shared an order of garlic knots and liked them but they weren't all that garlicky. I still liked them because the rolls themselves were great and the dipping sauces that came with it. Also, my friends loved their burgers. Parking & TVs: plentiful. We were sat quickly. I came here with a friend of mine and we had a great dinner. The staff were friendly and very efficient. We both had cheese burgers and they were delicious! The restaurant has TVs everywhere so if you wanting to see a game, this is your place! The bar section is extremely big and wide so plenty of seating. However, if you are going for a game, I bet that they get crowded so get there early if you can. read more

Me and my better half came back to Bubba's 2 years later today. The waitress was friendly enough and our food came out shortly. The ribeye was cooked just right and was delicious! The cost was cheaper than most other restaurants. The ambiance is sports bar themed with many tv's and music videos with chive trivia on a few playing.Although the same place the service and food has improved greatly. We recommend this place in the busy Buford area. read more

First time at Bubba's. It was BUSY! The hostesses were very nice and got my party of 3 (plus a 100lb Service Animal) a large booth. The hostesses also provided him a tin bowl of water, which was very nice. Tuukka took his place underneath and we checked out the menu. We all knew we were having steaks and also decided on some tater tots with cheese and bacon. Nice portion for $5. Very cool. They nailed the temps on 3 rib eyes. One MW, one M and one MR. Very impressed. They were delicious, with mushroom and onions. The mashed pots with their creamy gravy were excellent! Clearly not from a box. Our server was great. I wish I remembered his name but I'm sure y'all can figure it out by the description of my party and order. Very nice and thorough young man. Look, I'll admit it, I previously dragged Bubba 33 through the mud with a review so bad it could've been a Yelp horror story. But I'm not too proud to crawl back, tail between my legs, and give credit where it's due. Fair is fair, and this time, they knocked it out of the park, unlike my last visit, which was more like a foul ball into the parking lot. I rolled up on an early Saturday afternoon with my mom and sister, expecting a wait that'd test my patience. Surprise! It wasn't long at all, and honestly, the fact there was a wait was like a neon sign screaming, "Hey, this place is hopping for a reason!" We snagged a table, and let me tell you, it was like stepping into the heart of Americana. . .rockin' music, every sport known to man blasting on TVs lining the walls, and a vibe that screamed "pass the ketchup and wave a flag." The food? Oh, it delivered. Mom and sis both went for the crunchy fried shrimp, Mom paired hers with tots and coleslaw, and for someone who eats like a sparrow after a juice cleanse. . .she demolished it. Gone. Sis swapped the slaw for mashed potatoes and gravy plus a side salad with ranch, because why not live a little? Me? I went for the classic club with a side of crispy fried tots so good I'd fight a grizzly bear to protect them. Every bite was a high-five to my taste buds. The service was on point, our server was basically a mind reader with a smile, and the atmosphere was electric. I mean, how can you not love a place where you can eat shrimp, watch football, basketball, and competitive tiddlywinks (probably) all at once? This wasn't just a meal; it was a patriotic experience with better seasoning. So yeah, I'm falling on my sword here. Bubba 33 turned me from a grumpy critic into a fanboy waving a foam finger. I called back to apologize for my daughter getting sick at the table after complaining about her wings tasting funny. I told her the ones I looked at were reddish colored on the meat and bones and Ms. Laura wanted me to know that they bake the wings to a high temperature before frying so they were done. If those wings were fried they would've been crispy. I asked for my steak medium well and it was still moving when the manager asked how's that steak I said is this medium wells he said no thats medium for sure I'll take it back I said nope. Anyways the waitress was no where to be found she left to get my dessert which I never got so we paid on the kiosk and rushed out the door the 3 of us was covered in what ever she ate that made her sick. read more

The parent company is Texas Roadhouse, owner calls everyone Bubba & everyone calls him Bubba, but that name was taken so he went with 33, year of prohibition. Two sections, bar side & dining, but TVs galore. MTV music playing over speakers with video on TV. Good food. I always have a great time at Bubbas 33. Debbie and the team are always friendly. I live the many different food options and recommend going either to Monday night Burgers or Tuesday night for pizza! I've eaten here 3 times so far. Twice in Buford and once in San Antonio, Texas. Everything I've ordered so far has been above expectations. Was the only place my son wanted to eat to celebrate his Air Force graduation. He even received a free meal just for wearing his uniform. Thanking him for his service. So this place is the sister store to Texas Roadhouse, and is more like a sports bar than a steak house. They have burgers, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, etc, but similar drink items to Roadhouse. The prices are similar too. They weren't busy as I expected, so we were able to be sat immediately. Service was okay, and there's always room for improvement, but food was good and different than Roadhouse. It did take quite some time for the food to come out, but regardless everything was decently good. I've been a longtime fan of Bubba 33, so this visit hurt. The hostess was warm and welcoming -- she was the bright spot of the evening -- but unfortunately, everything else fell far short of expectations. The restaurant was cold in our section (joking I shared with server and literally and figuratively the response was like ok). Sad to say our server was distant, rarely approached us, didn't offer refills, and largely ignored the table as we waited for food. Once, orders were in only checked in once with brief food will be out soon. We sat in our section watching each other's experience with disappointment mounting. The pizza arrived cold and hard, the other meal out of the three arrived way after we were almost done eating. When I commented on service and food to the server he actually blamed me, saying I should've asked for refills and should have said pizza was cold -- "how," I wondered, "when you never came back?" What's most frustrating is that this used to be my go‑to spot. All I wanted was what I ordered and paying for. Can't forget how we were sitting waiting to pay - one guest said to us "after all you all have been through I would walk out". , I shared were not after freebies -- I'm after what I paid for, which on this visit I absolutely did not get. Bubba's 33 executed the perfect dining experience today, IMO. From joining the wait list online to the easy breezy payment options this meal was executed very well. The server took extra steps to ensure our satisfaction and was well trained. The food came fresh and was above standard for prices. It was timed and the dishes were received in intervals. Bad was watching the bartender pick up fruit with bare hands bands and drop into drinks, watched waitress and waiters pick up drink straws and drop into customers drinks after touching hair and computer screens.
