Went there last night for carry-out. Truly amazing food for decent prices. Got the chicken shawarma sandwich, Moroccan chicken for my partner, grape leaves, and humus/pita and it felt like a feast. Everything was so well prepared and delicious. The Moroccan chicken looked especially good and will definitely be getting that for myself next time. Also have never had grape leaves that succulent. You could tell the hummus was made with love and made traditionally. If you're looking for something different in town that is also delicious, look no further!! read more

It was my first time trying this restaurant after my roommate recommended it. Everything was truly amazing. Not only were the workers extremely friendly, but the food was amazing. I got the chicken shawarma with fries. The fries came with a creamy garlic sauce and I honestly fell in love with it. I also got the broken heart smoothie which was very tasty as well and a great consistency. I went with my boyfriend . He got the sinbad and finished it in literally like 30 seconds. After he was done, he said "want to come back again tomorrow?" because he loved it so much. The place is also decorated accordingly. I loved looking around the restaurant and noticing little details. Service was great. Unfortunately, the food was not. And it's way overpriced. I ordered the felafel appetizer. For $9.95 we got a sliced pita and a tiny dish of some runny liquid that was definitely not hummus. The felafel was deep fried and burnt. My friend ordered the "Secret Sandwich". Thirteen dollars, no sides. Fries were $2.50. I ordered the lamb shwarma. I'm not sure that it was actually lamb. The meat was flavorless and mostly gristle. Just terrible. At least the avocado smoothie was good. So, that's one bad appetizer, two bad lunches and a smoothie. With tip, set me back $50. read more

Excellent shwarmas. We tried the chicken, lamb, and 40 thieves shwarmas. All were delicious, but the lamb really stood out. Perfect blend of signature spit roasting with a tahini sauce that doesnt drown out the flavor of the meat. Will defintely be coming back here. read more

This little hidden gem was more than I expected! It's very cute and clean inside and decorated nicely. They were super busy (lots of diners from those staying in Corvallis during the World Meet in Eugene) so things felt a little scrambled but they were movin! Falafels were moist and not dry, the tabouli salad which a lot of places get wrong with too much bulgar wheat had a nice amount of parsley in it and the flavor was great. I had a one night stay in Corvallis and we where looking for something very close to the hotel. We decided on this place because of the great reviews and it was a very quick walking distance from the hotel. It was a little bit past 5 in the evening and when we walked in it was completely empty. We seated ourselves and it took about a min before they noticed we're in there. Once our waiter noticed us he greeted us and was very friendly he brought us our drinks very quickly and took orders. The restaurant is very nice decorated and had beautiful middle eastern music playing I was really enjoying the atmosphere but it was all ruined when we started hearing the beeping and slamming the door of the microwave. We still gave it a a chance once the food came out in no time . I had the baked chicken and it was alright the chicken was kind of dried (microwave??) but the rice had a lot of flavor. Nice little spot. Great if you're staying at the Courtyard! Far be it from me to judge if the food is "authentic" but we enjoyed it and the place was fairly crowded with a steady stream of takeout orders too. OK - fabulous find here! EVERYTHING was lovely - mezza plate, house salad, pita, lamb shank, mint tea! And the biggest surprise of the meal was the amazing falafel - I actually cannot remember if I've ever had falafel this crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. The baba ganoush was smokey and just the right consistency, the hummus was flavorful and md creamy, and the labneh was oh so delicate and rich - amazing. They were very short-staffed but we're courteous and honest about the wait time for food I got the Moroccan chicken - absolutely melt-in-the mouth and delicious. I didnt even know i liked morrocan food and This has been the best place ive eaten in Corvallis in the 5 months ive been here. What i can say is you cant pay someone to put love in the food, and i say that because there was love in the food! I was a little hesitant, questioning if this place was welcoming n hopefully not smelling weird LOL. I come to find the most peaceful place ever! I got the baked chicken, it literally melted in my mouth i havent had that happen in awhile! The rice kinda tasted like cinnamon which was unbelievable how good it was. The soup of the day was lentil and it was so warm. I havent felt this way about a resteraunt in awhile! Just go in no expectations and take it from there. I've eaten here a few times now. I liked the secret sandwich and the chicken shawarma. I find the meat doesn't have the greatest texture, but I still really liked it. The staff is very friendly, and were helpful. Their Turkish mint tea is also nice post meal. read more

This place is so good! I went with an acquaintance and between the two of us, we ordered a lot of food. My personal favorite was the lamb hummus which I think I could eat every day. The pita that came with it was so warm and soft. We also ordered a lamb shawarma and a chicken shawarma. I enjoyed the lamb shawarma, it really hit the spot. To top off the meal, we had a broken heart smoothie that was smooth and so delectable, and a Moroccan coffee that came with a stick of cinnamon in the cup. I love the atmosphere of this place, it's so vibrant and calming at the same time. When we came, I really felt like I was getting authentic and quality beverages. I chose the Chai Haleeb in its original form, and this is actually the exact way I like my chai. It's sweet but not overly sweet. My boyfriend chose the Turkish coffee and the presentation was awesome. It comes out in a little tin container with a side espresso cup. Very very strong, so the smallest size is best for one person.
