We have frequented this location since they opened. Within the last week (March 2026), we ordered take out from them. At this time they refused to honor our gift certificate that had been purchased within the proceeding 2 months, stating that they had changed ownership. Of note, they cannot seem to decide when that change of ownership happened. When you buy a business, you are assuming their liabilities in addition to their assets. The food tastes great, the staff are beyond wonderfully nice, plenty of seating -- my go-to everytime visit my child at college. Not the cheapest Indian food, but Indian food isn't cheap to begin with. Highly recommend! And just today (our fifth+ time going there) was to celebrate birthday. Carry out order, not often do I come to Corvallis when I do I get some Indian food. Place looks nice inside, I recommend the Biryani we've ordered lamb & veggie both are really good I asked for extra spicy & I got exactly what I wanted, food is always hot just the way I like it, the veggie biryani had tofu tasted like chicken. This is one of the best Indian food experiences that I have ever had. An upscale trendy decorated restaurant you will get all of your food items here. In addition you will also have a buffet option that is used during lunch times and on weekends. We came a little later at night and there were about four other tables that had people at them. By the time we finished we were the only ones there. We ordered a Samosa Chaat basically Indian style chili. At least that's how it reminded me. We also got Butter chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and a Lamb Vindaloo. Of course we also got some garlic Naan. The food and flavors were generous in portions and also wonderful taste. I wasn't to impressed w/ there chicken-- it had tasted seasoned but was cooked too long to make the seasoning actually appear in the dish ( ?) if that makes sense.... The overall ambiance of the restaurant emits a fun atmosphere to be with friends. The service was great. The ambiance was nice all in all. If they just had the lamp above the table so it wasn't shining in my eyes, I would have appreciated that, and little grease spots all over the table I could have done without. The table was wiped, but with a dirty rag. We ordered samosa chaat, veggie tikka chaat, plain naan and Madras coffee. It was a "snack meal". The samosa chaat was really good except way too sweet for me. I grew up in India, and others might see it differently. The veggie tikka chaat, same thing, too sweet but otherwise good. The naan went really well with those (however, I've had better naan, but this was yummy too). The Madras coffee was really weak and only warm, not hot. Their menu is one of the most non-authentic menus I've seen in an Indian restaurant. That's not necessarily bad, because some fusion foods are really great. But that's why we had a snack meal instead of their rather spendy full meals. We might go back for some chaat and naan, and it's within walking distance for us. We were extremely excited to try out this new place esp the buffet. Lunch on weekends is $21, lunch on weekdays is $18. Comes with complimentary regular naan. The overall taste (ie vegetable korma and mango chicken) for what was offered at the buffet is 4 stars. However, I am knocking it down to 3.5 stars due to the following reasons: 1) lack of popular dishes including chicken tikka masala or butter chicken, 2) pricing of the buffet is way too overpriced. 3) lack of goat or lamb. For weekend pricing of $21, I expected dishes to at least include a lamb or goat dish. This is more expensive than East coast pricing and even with East coast Indian buffets they have the popular dishes including lamb and goat for a lower price. Only Indian buffet that I've been to that is over $20 was in NJ with seafood, goat, lamb etc with over 30 dishes which was well worth it. 4) Their regular menu is also more expensive than local competitors. I would consider coming back if the prices were lower and if they offered the more popular dishes for buffet. Granted this is their first weekend opening and I wonder if things will change or if their buffet menu changes / rotates between dishes. It is a good option if you are craving a variety of vegetarian and/or chicken dishes and are super hungry. read more

Tried this new place on 9th street where the old King Tin used to be and I'm very glad we have a new Indian restaurant in town. They have a lunch buffet everyday from 11-2:30 pm and it was very good at a reasonable price for a quality lunch buffet. I visited Royal India twice, once for dinner and once for the lunch buffet. Unfortunately, our dinner experience was less than desirable. My partner ordered the tofu coconut curry, and after about 30 minutes, our server notified us that there was an issue with the order, but they are working on it. Another 45 minutes passed before the server returned with the curry. We asked what had happened and she said there was a mixup and it wasn't made vegan (as it's described on the menu). Our only issue with this is that our server did not communicate with us. Had she been transparent about the issue up front, we could have ordered something else, or taken the meal as prepared depending on what the issue was. For example, if dairy was the only non-vegan ingredient that was added, we would have taken the meal; we are pretty flexible. The tofu coconut curry was a bit bland, so sadly, it wasn't worth the 75 minute wait. We did however have a better lunch buffet experience and there was a good variety of vegetarian options. Overall, we probably won't be back for dinner, but we may give the lunch buffet another go. read more

Tried this place for the first time and wasn't disappointed! My boyfriend and I came hoping to try the buffet but unfortunately we arrived right as they were closing up the buffet lol. (2:30) So instead we decided to just order from the menu. Our server was very friendly and came by frequently to make sure all was good. I ordered the mango chicken and it was DELICIOUS. I love that they can make it to your preferred spice level too :) I got medium spice which provided the perfect kick with the sweetness of the mango. I would definitely recommend it! I went here today. I've been to the Eugene location, and my experience here was way worse. The drinks and food were really overpriced, and honestly, the food didn't taste great at all--I'm half Indian though, so I might have higher standards. The service was decent, but my waiter Connor made me feel really uncomfortable. He had long hair that he kept down, and it felt gross to see him playing with it while handling our food. He continuously ran his fingers through it which made it a little disgusting to eat. I feel it really should have been up. He also kept flirting with me, biting his lip and talking in a weird sexual tone. He was also just making comments that just felt off.
