Dr. Lin is unprofessional, rude and sloppy. The location is tiny and dirty. My experience here was well below expectations.

It's always a good sign when you call and can get a hold of a live person over the phone. That was the first draw in. When our appointment came up, we were greeted by friendly staff. The store is bright and inviting, but smaller than the last eyeglass supply store (a larger chain) we'd gone to. The selection of eyeglasses are limited to pricier designer frames, but upon inquiring, I was told that they have affordable (read: frames covered by insurance) available upon request, it just hasn't been put up on display yet. Plus, it was nice to see there were some refreshments and a clean bathroom available while we waited. Most importantly, this store was CLEAN-- there ample hand-sani at the ready, plus signs they clean their display frames between customers. Once the initial paperwork was done, the rest of our service was expedient. We were taken to a room for pre-testing, and then soon after met with the doctor. He answered all our questions, and never pressured us into buying lenses/frames. While this is a smaller store, the doctor has another office in NJ where he can check his inventory should there be something specific you want. Hope this location does well, it's good to have options other than large chain optical stores.

Lady at front desk told me that my eye care insurance wouldn't cover 2nd visit in one year. She asked my regular medical insurance or I had to pay cash for the visit. She asked for my regular insurance card that I don't carry. My assistant set up my appointments. I asked my assistant to send me the card. I gave the front desk lady the card. I asked why didn't you give all that info to my assistant at the time of appointmen? The front desk lady started arguing with me and giving me some nonsense reasons. Actually she had no answer to my question. Then she said that she had to call my medical insurance to verification, after securing my card. I said I'm wasting my time going back and forth . You could've done that prior. I decided to leave by saying that I don't like your services. I'll find an other place. As I was walking out, I was near the exit door, she loudly said. I was looking through the list of local vision offices that accepts my health insurance, and that…read moreis how I found this place. Since it seemed pretty highly rated from the many ratings and reviews that I checked, as well as it being within only around a mile from where I live, I decided to try this place out. The office is quite small and it is somewhat cramped in my opinion. There is one main room, while the other rooms consist of two exam rooms, an extra room where someone evaluates glasses, and a bathroom I believe. The small space is not ideal and it seems a bit too condensed in my opinion, but the limited space also clearly shows all the possible frames that they offer. Even though this is a small office, they offer many frames that range in price, appearance, and design. For a very small space, there is a lot of variety and selections within the small space. When I arrived there for my first appointment after not having an eye exam in several years, the front staff communicated quickly and clearly with me. I did not bring my ID, nor my insurance card, but they still allowed me to go through with my eye exam appointment, and they still provided me with the opportunity to select new glasses based on what my insurance covers, along with the choice of looking at all the other out of pocket options. Though I did wait nearly a half an hour for my exam, it made sense because they were busy the day I arrived. As I was waiting, families were trying on new glasses, a couple was waiting for their own exam, and there were parents with their children looking at the glasses. The workers at the front desk was not extremely friendly, but in terms of service, they were decent. They were clear, direct, and informative, which is what I needed after not being at an eye office for a while. What I really liked about my experience is that there was freedom. I was given as much time and space as I needed to closely look at and try on all the frames they provided, both insurance covered and otherwise. They did not rush me or showed any signs of impatience, so even when it got crowded, it felt interestingly calm because I was given my own space to explore even within the many patients that were there to have their eyes evaluated and choose their new glasses. It's very clear that this office is a family office. I saw many people come here with their family or friends, and the staff all seemed very close with one another as well. It's a tightly connected community office, but not really an expansive or varied one, given their limited space. However, when I was choosing my new glasses, they were very helpful in explaining to me the value of lens thickness, frame size, and overall cost comparison. There were also opportunities for discounts as well, so they were very informative when it came down to assisting me in narrowing down all the glasses I possibly want by explaining how to differentiate between what I wanted versus what I needed. They were very focused and considerate in making sure I obtained glasses that I needed for my prescription, and were accomodating to my preferences. For the rather small and cramped space of this office, they do a lot and work very actively with what they have.

Very friendly staff with caring doctors! The place is small but they have a nice selection of…read moreglasses to choose from.
