What a classic Mom & Pop spot! I loved that it gave the feel of the classic breakfast meals but without being at home. 10/10! Service so far has always been very lovely and tentative !

 Roast Beef Sandwich

Just met my mom for lunch today. I have driven by here thousands of times....now regretting it's taken me so long to stop in!!! It was a lovely little place; counter seating ahead, table seating to the right, and booth seating to the left. Our server Katie was friendly. Thanks to her pointing out the special on the whiteboard I chose a DELICIOUS lunch!! Well it will be dinner too!! The roast beef sandwich; which was an open faced sandwich drown in gravy and a large helping of mashed potatoes!!! Everything about this meal screamed: grandma's kitchen, it had th homecooked attention. If I didn't stop myself I would definitely still be there... sleeping in my truck in the parking lot. My mom opted for the Loaded Hashbrowns, that she said were delicious as well. She also had another meal in left overs. Only about a half hour from home I am definitely looking forward to my next Little Oscar's meal!! Thanks for a good old fashioned Midwest comfort food lunch, Little Oscar's!!

The food is awesome, big portions and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is home town with comfortable with tables booths, and stools for sitting at the wrap around food bar. The service is always spot on, and that's because most of the gal's have worked here for years. They know how to make you feel at home and always welcome you with a smile. I am a long time repeat customer. So bring your family and enjoy...

We stopped for breakfast on our way to the twin cities...it was an impulse stop, and we were really pleased that we did! The service was wonderful - we were greeted and seated immediately, and a waitress was with us immediately for drinks and suggestions. My wife got a breakfast with a pancake...it was gigantic! She also had eggs and bacon - both were perfectly cooked. My breakfast was corned beef hash, hash browns, and eggs over easy. Everything was perfectly prepared and served piping hot. We will absolutely be back!

Highly recommended for a great, down home breakfast. Not because it's fancy (it's not) or because its menu is unique (also not), but because it's just plain old a great breakfast in a classic diner setting. The dining room is clean and the staff is friendly. (The pancakes are as big as your plate, and their caramel rolls & cinnamon rolls are HUGE!) Definitely worth a quick drive to Hampton, just south of Rosemount / Pine Bend for a solid classic breakfast. (The lunch menu looks good too!)

Loaded hasbrowns with andouille sausage! The bomb! Can't beat the biscuits and gravy either!

Best breakfast in southern MN. Is open during the highway 52 construction. Great waitresses! Good food and fast service.

If you are within 100 miles of Little Oscars you have to stop. This place is like home, it's everything a real Midwest restaurant should be. I grew up in the Midwest and this place is a rare breed, it's not a chain and everything has that homemade/diner feel. And if you go, get the hot sandwich. Trust me.

Everything you want from pancakes and waffles to hot roast beef or liver and onions with mashed potatoes. Huge cinnamon rolls warmed Something for everyone.

Just a non-descript roadside diner, easy to discount as just another greasy spoon as you keep on driving. But oh, what a mistake that would be! Our breakfast here was nothing short of amazing. The breading on the chicken fried steak was crispy and delicious. The gravy was savoury and not too salty. And - no lie- the pancakes are bigger than the plate and so very tasty!

Visited this place on our way home this morning after an early morning flight from Boston. The place is hard to find if you are southbound on US 52 but we travel this road so much we see it often and thought we would give it a try. It has been about twenty years since we visited this place, way before YELP, when you looked for a crowded parking lot to gauge a review. BTW, this place always has a full parking lot! Northbound traffic on US 52 has a special exit for this business, well maybe the other couple of businesses too! The parking lot was full so we were expecting to wait but I forgot how big this place is. We were seated immediately and the server was johnny-on-the-spot for our drink order. Water was placed on the table without even asking...some like that and some don't. I like it!! Always have room for water. Breakfast time and this place is well known for it. We all ordered something different and the food was promptly at our table in under 10 minutes. It was tough to decide between a Chicken Fried Steak and an omelet. Wife took care of the omelet order. The portions are HUGE and the price vs. value is outstanding. The CFS was served hot and the gravy had good flavor. Eggs, Toast and hashbrowns came with the order. All tasted good. Only complaint, thiner crisper hashbrowns but that is a personal preference. Omelet and sausage patties/links tasted good. Now the pancakes are HUGE. Two might be too much! Place is well kept and very "homey". Highly recommend you stop on your way up to the Twin Cities.

We shared the cheese curds appetizer, which was great. For main dishes, my son created a meal by combining the appetizer chicken tenders with a side of fries. It was a LOT of food, and very good. He brought about half the tenders home. I had a chunk of a tender, too, and really enjoyed it. My husband had the southwest burger with tots. The tots were huge, like little barrels! I had the weekend special, a winter grilled cheese. To grab the description from their social media: "Brie, bacon, apples, hot honey, and white cheddar on cranberry wild rice bread." It was extremely good. I had potato salad on the side, and I have to say, it was probably about the best not-homemade potato salad I 've ever had. Incredibly fresh. I had an apple cider mule to drink, too. I really loved the woodsy, homey vibe, too. As we were there in December, there was lots of Christmas decor.

The Burger Monarchy: A Paradox of Plenty in Miesville In the…read morequiet, pastoral stretches outside Eagan, there exists a roadside institution that defies the modern trend of curated minimalism. King's Place in Miesville is a relic of a different era, a burger joint that functions less like a restaurant and more like a high-volume assembly line of Americana. The menu is not merely large; it is an overwhelming, multi-page manifesto of beef. With roughly 80 to 100 variations on the burger--many named in tribute to the local Miesville Mudhens baseball team--the experience begins with a bout of genuine decision paralysis. For the average diner, the sheer volume of choices feels like a dare. It is a place where you can find almost any topping imaginable, which makes the absence of a simple fried mushroom all the more jarring. It is the one note the kitchen fails to hit in an otherwise exhaustive symphony. When the food does arrive, the logistics are the primary entertainment. The floor staff at King's Place perform a nightly feat of athletic grace, weaving through the crowded, character-filled dining room while balancing five or more burger trays at a time. It is a spectacle of efficiency that puts the sterile, automated nature of modern chains to shame. However, one must navigate the side dishes with a discerning eye. While the temptation to "upgrade" is always present, the seasoned waffle fries are an investment that yields little return; they are best skipped in favor of the standard fare. The real value here lies in the core product and the refreshing lack of pretension. Despite the fame and the daunting menu, the pricing remains stubbornly reasonable, a rare feat for an establishment that has transitioned from a local secret to a regional landmark. "Life is too short to miss out on the beautiful things like a double cheeseburger." -- Channing Tatum For those seeking the predictable polish of a franchise, King's Place will be a confusing sensory overload. But for the traveler who values soul, speed, and a price point that respects the wallet, this is a kingdom worth visiting--just don't expect to find a fried mushroom on your plate.
