Fantastic liver and onions. 10 out of 10 service. Peach pie à la mode really hit the spot.

What a classic Mom & Pop spot! I loved that it gave the feel of the classic breakfast meals but without being at home. 10/10! Service so far has always been very lovely and tentative !

Just met my mom for lunch today. I have driven by here thousands of times....now regretting it's taken me so long to stop in!!! It was a lovely little place; counter seating ahead, table seating to the right, and booth seating to the left. Our server Katie was friendly. Thanks to her pointing out the special on the whiteboard I chose a DELICIOUS lunch!! Well it will be dinner too!! The roast beef sandwich; which was an open faced sandwich drown in gravy and a large helping of mashed potatoes!!! Everything about this meal screamed: grandma's kitchen, it had th homecooked attention. If I didn't stop myself I would definitely still be there... sleeping in my truck in the parking lot. My mom opted for the Loaded Hashbrowns, that she said were delicious as well. She also had another meal in left overs. Only about a half hour from home I am definitely looking forward to my next Little Oscar's meal!! Thanks for a good old fashioned Midwest comfort food lunch, Little Oscar's!!

The food is awesome, big portions and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is home town with comfortable with tables booths, and stools for sitting at the wrap around food bar. The service is always spot on, and that's because most of the gal's have worked here for years. They know how to make you feel at home and always welcome you with a smile. I am a long time repeat customer. So bring your family and enjoy...

We stopped for breakfast on our way to the twin cities...it was an impulse stop, and we were really pleased that we did! The service was wonderful - we were greeted and seated immediately, and a waitress was with us immediately for drinks and suggestions. My wife got a breakfast with a pancake...it was gigantic! She also had eggs and bacon - both were perfectly cooked. My breakfast was corned beef hash, hash browns, and eggs over easy. Everything was perfectly prepared and served piping hot. We will absolutely be back!

Highly recommended for a great, down home breakfast. Not because it's fancy (it's not) or because its menu is unique (also not), but because it's just plain old a great breakfast in a classic diner setting. The dining room is clean and the staff is friendly. (The pancakes are as big as your plate, and their caramel rolls & cinnamon rolls are HUGE!) Definitely worth a quick drive to Hampton, just south of Rosemount / Pine Bend for a solid classic breakfast. (The lunch menu looks good too!)

If you are within 100 miles of Little Oscars you have to stop. This place is like home, it's everything a real Midwest restaurant should be. I grew up in the Midwest and this place is a rare breed, it's not a chain and everything has that homemade/diner feel. And if you go, get the hot sandwich. Trust me.

Loaded hasbrowns with andouille sausage! The bomb! Can't beat the biscuits and gravy either!

Best breakfast in southern MN. Is open during the highway 52 construction. Great waitresses! Good food and fast service.

First of all we found this place on Yelp and landed on it because of the high reviews and how close it was to our airbnb. I was a bit worried about a wait as it looked popular but with two people we were able to get in pretty quick (less than 5 min wait) on a Sunday morning. It was packed though, so there might be a wait. Space is at a premium in this building and despite being a bit crammed in it was still a great experience overall. Honestly everything was wonderful. The server: A+, ambiance: great, food: holy hell it was delicious. I had some sort of benedict that came on cornbread and was paired with some incredible hashbrowns. Chef's kiss. I also ordered a specialty mocha for fun and it also did not disappoint. This place is a slam dunk for breakfast. If you live in the twin cities and you haven't eaten here yet what are you doing!?

Single. Time. That doesn't even cover how wonderful the staff there is! Just really great people who are keeping it real. No parties larger than 6, this is a hard rule and needs to be respected. I have seen people argue with the owner. It's a small place and he values his staff so much that he will not opt for income over his staff's mental health or stress level. I admire that so much. All the more reason to take your close friend and enjoy a real down to earth local business!!!

Allow yourself a little breakfast sin at Perk Up Kitchen…read more It's important to have a favorite breakfast joint in the place(s) you reside and I think we found ours! The interior and exterior vibe are cool and inviting but it's the menu that really makes breakfast here a special experience. Each item is a little work of art in flavor, creativity, visual appeal, and the trendy/classic balance. Let's talk some of these menu items that impressed. Any good breakfast starts with good coffee and juice. The coffee is great and the orange juice is obviously fresh squeezed - the bright flavor that greets your mouth first sip proves it. We chose a variety of different kinds of items. I went sweet with the Strawberry Cornbread waffle. The flavors were a taste of strawberry heaven with its fresh strawberries PLUS a syrupy compote, honey butter and whipped cream. My husband likes to go hearty with layered potato and egg dishes so he went the distance and got the Breakfast Poutine. Layers of goodness in every forkful. What really ties this one together is the white sausage gravy. My kids always choose pancakes but a shout out to the scotch square accompaniment to the kids meal. A little stolen nibble reminded me of when my grandma used to melt butterscotch chips for recipes when I was a kid. Nice touch for kids and their parents reaching across their plates. I would rank this even higher than the bougie, high priced breakfast joints back home (which are struggling to prove their value for me these days). The food here gets you that more approachable decadence without making your eyes completely pop out of your head come check-time.

Both were good but the biscuits and gravy was the favorite. It came with a huge portion of potatoes and the gravy had good flavor. The poutine was good but the hollandaise soaked into the fries quickly and the scrambled eggs were a little overcooked. You can tell they use good quality ingredients and everything came out piping hot. There is plenty of parking in the lot as well.
