I REALLY don't like leaving negative reviews, but I wish I would have known this before enrolling my child here so I hope this might help someone else. My daughter and I had just moved to Arizona when she started going here so the adjustment to a new school wasn't easy for her. But her teacher made no effort to make her feel welcomed/loved. In her first week, she got bit THREE times. I understand once, maybe twice, but three?? I believe that is just carelessness. All these incidents happened in front of the same teacher. When I went to go discuss the incident with her teacher, she put her head down and completely ignored me. She did not say hello to my daughter, give her hugs, or really just show that she was happy to see my daughter! After each biting incident, I got no phone calls and zero communication from her teacher about what happened/what will happen to prevent another incident. I understand biting is unfortunately a "normal" toddler behavior, but I also believe it is mostly preventable if the parent, child, and teacher work together. I was calling almost everyday to check in on my daughter, especially in her first week and every time someone on the phone would tell me "she's fine" but then when I went to go pick her up I would get a different story of how she did. I just wanted them to be honest. All in all, I decided to take my daughter out of this school for the lack of warmth from her teacher, poor communication from all staff, and my daughter was honestly just miserable every day at drop off/pick up. If I have one positive thing to say is that the director was the nicest and most understanding. She understood my concerns and felt bad about everything that was happening. Unfortunately, she is not the one watching the children so that didn't make a difference at the end of the day.

List of inspections from the past couple of years. Many due to complaints filed from parents.

However, outside the superficial, Britcha is anything but. The teachers in each classroom are very well supported. Each usually has one or two class aids. Additionally, students from the UA come to get some of their teaching hours there. They have a very welcoming environment and refer to children in gender neutral terms as "friends." They also have referrals for AZEip if your child needs it. This is NOT a money run business like you find at places like Adventure time with inconsistent staff. They even have rates for government employees. It took us 3 years to find the best place for our kiddo. Don't pass up Brichta without checking it out first. It is truly a west side gem. In addition to their regular curriculum they also offer enrichment class! During the day!!! While your little is already at school! Music! Sign Language! Spanish! Soccer! These are taught by actual instructors and coaches.

We were also seeking a facility that could provide care to our school age kiddo during breaks and summer and that was centrally located. With so many requirements, it seemed we'd never find the right place and kept our kids in the same old place they'd been for three years. From the moment I called and spoke with Gabby and Anna, I was impressed; they were friendly and upbeat. The tour was great and I loved what I saw! When our kiddo arrived for his first day, he loved what he saw in the classroom and playground. His teacher, Ms. Destiny was warm and inviting and welcomed Mikey right away. We met Ms. Jessica in the hall also and she knew just how to talk to Mikey to help him warm up. I couldn't have been more impressed with this school! Mikey has had painless drop-offs every day and I credit Ms. Destiny's genuine care and love of children. Mikey tells us daily about the many fun activities he does which include weekly visits from Mr. Ray and Ms. K who sing and read with the class. Mikey is also extremely excited to show us all he is learning academically. Thank you to all of the staff and the owners who make this wonderful childcare available in our community. This center should stand as a model for all centers--it is really that good (and very affordable--it even includes fresh food for snacks and meals)!!!
