Sorry dude, but I don't know you, have never bought from you, and am not going to pay $$ for used vinyl without inspecting it first. Brendan who I had the pleasure to chat with, is not playing a part he's a genuine music lover, with an extensive knowledge of any genre, a big heart and offers you an extensive collection of records you won't find anywhere else. Before the internet was a thing there were places like this and sure you could probably find a lot of these things on Ebay but what you won't find is the guidance to understand which things are going to show you the rainbow of oddities that is American pop culture. If you are a KISS fan especially, there is a lot of specialized, rarer stuff here. But the rare inventory seems to come at the cost of all the inventory's pricing. The prices are 2-3 times what I've paid for the same condition pressings elsewhere- sometimes 4-5 times more. I'm not sure how it's getting these prices especially in a small town like Rochester. A bummer- if the prices were in line I would've bought a good dozen records!

The place is so large, filled with new and used CDs, DVDs vinyls, cassettes, 8 tracks, books, kitchy items, socks, pins, etc. This time I found a bunch of CDs for 97 cents-all in perfectly good condition. Eco friendly way to reduce, reuse, recycle! I love coming here to look for obscure items that I probably could find somewhere online, but this is so much more fun and gratifying. You never know what you may find. You could be in here for hours and hours. The staff is very friendly and always most helpful.

Easy, free parking; no bathrooms (don't you dare ask, either); it's a large, cramped warehouse because of the overwhelming amount of new and used vinyls, CDs, DVDs, video games, books, comics, novelty items, etc. They probably have what you're looking for, and if not? They can order it for you! It's just not my preferred location: I find the staff offputting. The last time I was here they were very loudly berating customers, each other, how Bull Moose pays, and whoever runs/manages this particular store. I ended up not purchasing anything, because I didn't feel comfortable approaching the counter. Skip this location and head to the Scarborough spot instead.
