Rosie's never fails to satisfy my hunger for Mexican food. The chile rellanos are my favorite.

the staff at little rosie's are very nice and accommodating. they answered all the questions i had about the menu (most menu items didn't have descriptions). it is a order/pickup at the counter and self-seating. the yucaipan burrito i tried is named after the city it's in, Yucaipa and had meat, rice, beans, and some veggies. it only comes as a wet burrito, and the sauce has a good chipotle pepper flavor that is not too spicy in my opinion. there is also hot sauce available as seen in the little cups in the photo. the restaurant itself is small and cozy, giving family-owned vibes. it is clean and would have trouble hosting larger groups (i'd estimate 8-10 max for their biggest table). i am very curious to try their other dishes next time I visit, as i believe this place has way more potential beyond just a single burrito dish. read more

Overall, a high 3.9 Food 4.2 Ambience 3 Service 4.2 but there's just a few things that keep it from going higher. So for the starters. The food is not bad those days were it taste better than other days but overall pretty consistent. I like grilled jalapeño or peppers with my food and seems like the last few times I went through the drive-through. They keep telling me that they ran out whatever no big deal I mean, kind of The sauce that they give you with the food is very flavorful and robust with great distinct flavoring. The drive-through girls are nice friendly and definitely try and help out. The portions are nice size however, if you order any meat burrito they seem to load it more with rice and beans, then put the meat in closer to the bottom. The food is OK I mean if you want more authentic Mexican food this place is not a bad option. I know they're better places, but it is what it is. read more

First time here and OMGosh! So so good!!! I tried the chile verde breakfast burrito and added a chile relleno and my husband had the hot Cheeto burrito! Both were FIRE! Second time I got the chile Colorado burrito and he had the hangover one and OMGEEE!! BOMB! Customer service has been very welcoming and warm and their tortillas are so good!! Food is good! Staff is friendly. This review is strictly on the drive thru. The process sucks. You will be stuck sitting in the drive through forever. Current visit i sat in the drive thru for over 30 minutes once I ordered and there was only 2 cars ahead of me. When I got to the window and paid and sat there for about 15 minutes with no communication on the process.. i only got a bean and cheese burrito. Not like I had an elaborate order.. On a mission to find carne asada fries that are as good as taco shop in Hemet. I think these would have been better as nachos as the fries aren't great. I like they let you choose what cheese you want, shredded or nacho. They should definitely come with pico de gallo for flavor but I added it. The asada was okay, not the best. Size was a tad small. The guacamole looks not homemade. Overall I wouldn't get this here again. Maybe try a burrito. read more

Great spot to go during my lunch break around 11:30am. I ordered a Gavacho Burrito (veggie burrito) and a side of fries in the drive thru and the food was ready in about 8-10 mins. The service was very friendly and efficient. The burrito and fries were good. Nothing spectacular though. The fries needed a little more salt cuz they were more on the bland side. We barely moved to Yucaipa about two months ago, trying out all the places here and little Rosies is definitely a place we're coming back. While in SoCal (family matters) I had to search for a good (non-chain) Mexican meal - something we are still seeking in our new environs. Of course Yelp reviews are helpful to at least point in a few decent directions. Little Rosies had a decent amount of review history and photos, so I decided to pop in. Located in the heart of Yucaipa, Little Rosies resides in what is obviously a converted fast-food establishment. I was mildly surprised at the interior. They managed to morph it into a somewhat inviting interior - a little busy decor to be sure, but more restaurant-like than fast food dining. Busy would be the best description of the extensive menu. Seemed like there are different iterations of their menu depending on where you look (the drive thru menu was just as large by the way). The staff here was very nice and seated me right away. After reading up on Little Rosies, I really, really wanted to order a dish that would have used one of their hand-made flour tortillas (ala Paco's Tacos on Centinela ave in L.A.). My point of reference has always been the hand-made torts my paternal grandma would make nearly every day... BUT, I decided to go with a straight-forward order of cheese enchiladas, rice, and beans. Enchilada sauce has become our bellwether for determining the "authenticity" of good Mexican food (based on our being raised in SoCal). Have to say that I was pleased with the cheese enchiladas here. Although I thought the corn torts could have been a bit less chewy (perhaps a little longer steep in the sauce), overall these were really good. The sauce had more of a darker tinge (a color somewhat in-between molè and grocery store red sauce) which I was seeking. The beans were tasty and not over-salted. The rice was just okay, nothing outstanding, but when mixed into the beans worked fine. All in all, this plate was enjoyable. This menu is so extensive, I would enjoy trying it again if I find myself in the area. The hand-made torts are calling me. read more

Many times we have asked for a receipt and they've acted like it's a big inconvenience. We just went through their drive through and they charged us for the wrong order. We asked for a receipt and they've acted ignored us. They gave us $11 dollars back and we again asked for a receipt. They gave us the wrong one. My husband drive around and went inside to ask for the correct receipt. He brought it out and after checking the two receipts they had shorted us 84 cents. He went back to show them and they said they gave us the correct price difference. My husband decided to just leave at that point. There has been other times where we asked each other about our orders but had forgotten to get a receipt. They do not give a receipt unless you ask. read more

Great food but make sure you check your order. Seriously 9 out of 10 times they get my order wrong. Their drive thru speaker is terrible, can't hear them and apparently they can't hear you. Suggest to spend a little money and replace your drive through speaker and this will help with orders. read more

It's not always a bad thing though.. sometimes I order a carne asada burrito and a couple tacos, I end up with a chile relleno burrito, super nachos and 3 orders of taquitos... other times I just get a surprise meal .. food is always good.. can't complain but I just wish they would get my order right a little more often. So first of all it's very sad & disappointing that I'm having to write this review but it's important the public knows what happened to us today. So for years we have eaten & loved Little Rosie's but last week I ordered 2 combo meals to go. As soon as I got home with food for myself & my bff we both immediately noticed after only one bite that the food tasted funky & completely lost our appetite after that. So I tried to call them but no one answered since they were close to closing. So next day I brought my food back & showed it to the cook Jose. So Jose told me to come back on Monday & he'd give me my $ back after asking me what I wanted done for which I said I just rather have my $ back. So I went back on Monday & Jose wasn't there & his staff couldn't reach him or the owner. The one employee took my number & name & said someone would call me. So the following day I called them & the one employee said to come tomorrow at a certain time so I did. So our food costed $29 & some change & I put $ n tip Jar as well. So can u believe Jose told me all he could give me back was $20. I couldn't believe he didn't give me all my $$ back & shorted me $10 when we clearly only took a bite. He said that they don't take food back & acted as if I should b grateful I got some $ back. In the meantime I'm thinking wait excuse me? U don't take food back?!! Look I come from a family where my mother & sister's are all amazing chef & I know good food & I can tell u this. I'm not going to pay or eat food that taste discussing, i don't think Jose would like his new baby & old lady to b forced to eat something that tasted gross. But it's sad that customer service doesn't mean anything cuz now we will never b eating there again. I'm huge on eating food at places that treat people right & take pride in making sure the food taste good. Kitchen is clean, employees are clean (washing their hands a lot/hair pulled back). No cross contamination going on ect. So if u don't like the food here beware cuz they wont give u your money back, expect u to just eat it as if your some animal or might remake it & put a secret ingredient in it for complaining so beware folks. I live in Calimesa and go to this Rosies! 1st the drive thru girl is the sweetest and cutest thing ever. She knows EXACTLY what she is doing, always smiling and always kind! 2nd the burritos are bigger and they have 2 cheese options for nachos. 3rd they are faster, faster than Calimesa Rosies and faster than lower Yucaipa Rosies.
