After a while now kids and parents showed up. This playground is located on the 2nd floor of the building. No strollers or outside food/ drinks are allowed inside. It's a big space with lots of play areas. They also have 2 birthday party rooms. That's also a cafe where you can buy food, drinks, snacks and ice cream for you and your kids. There are 2 bathrooms on site; one of them has the baby changing pad in it. The bathrooms were clean. We stayed there for almost 2 hours and enjoyed our time.

There are some kids that are well over 10 that go crazy there which is pretty sad for the little tots. Seems like the signs on the door are nonexistent. They want proof of vaccination and mask to stay on. But it's the total opposite. Adults all have the mask off and so does 90% of the kids. You have to sign a waiver about injuries and what not but what they don't see is some kids being completely reckless. A 7 year old doing backflips into the ball pit can break someone else's neck or their own. The parents don't even both to tell them to stop which is absolutely ridiculous. I believe in making sure my kid is having fun but not to getting injured because of some I'll mannered kid. Will my child return. Possibly. But it will be a long time before heading there again.

It's a pretty big playground compared to others we've been to! The ball pit area and climbing n/slide area is really nice and has lots of areas to crawl around and play, even 3 swings on the bottom area. They made great use of the whole space! They have different areas for kids to play, 2 Lego tables to play, different walls to put Lego and other wood sticks to put into the wall, a "sand" box which has small wood blocks instead of sand, lots of activity toys and overall many rides and toys to try out! They also have a supermarket and kitchen area for creative play. The other part of the play universe is arcade games and mini rides for kids from small to older. I like that they have this combines, if you have kids different ages they all have areas to play. Older kids might enjoy the arcade area more while younger kids play in the play areas. I definitely recommend the indoor playground to come and play! You get a few coins when you check in and can try out a few games. Fantastic concept!

There were also multiple staff roaming around to ensure that the environment is clean and organized; for one of the slides the padding was exposed and one of the male staff stood around to ensure he covered that area with balls in the ball pit, demonstrating consideration and really good work ethics that we all appreciated. Out of all the children play place across Staten Island, I believe this play place is by far one of the best, with ample amounts of obstacles and machines for the kiddies to enjoy. My only minor critique is that the token to dollar ratio is a bit high, with 10 bucks equating to 20 token and most rides ranges from 4-6 tokens, which is about 2-3 dollars per ride, which is often a minute or less. One of the rides also had a wheel that was broken, so the ride ended sooner due to be unable to dodge the obstacles. The claw machine also costs about 5 token each, which equates to 2.50 per try. Nonetheless, Just Kidding Universe Playground is definitely a great place for kids to have fun and spread their wings of creativity. I work from home part time and make my own hours, and since my baby was born my wife and I have been trying to find a work routine that still allows us to spend lots of time with him. Lola & Tots is the perfect solution for us. The workspace is beautiful. Everyone on staff is so great with my child. He has a blast here. When it's time for his nap, I bring him down into an office, turn out the lights, nurse him to sleep the same way I do at home, then keep working while he naps on the floor next to me. This is a revolutionary model of co-working and childcare and my family is so grateful for Lola & Tots!

This has been a five star experience for our son in every way. It's here that he's learned to count, speak Spanish words, and make incredible friendships with other children. Miss Jess & Miss Natalie are vey committed caretakers of children. They literally are the sweetest! They offer 1 on 1 help as much as they can, and make each child feel special. The cost came with an open room with worn down items, broken toys, no coffee station (even though there is a sign), and not even a stocked bathroom. Toys were bent, old, overly used and wearing off. Even the bins from IKEA were falling apart.. IKEA items should be easily replaced as they are cheap. The facilities was worn down as well, paint chipped or peels off on seating area and slides. Mural is still nice. The "cafe" area seating was pushed to the wall, not allowing a place to sit while the worker was putting streamers on a board for the private room. There is no water fountain to refill your water bottle. Again, advertised coffee and tea.. when asked was told "nothing, you can go to starbucks" as I pointed to the sign the worker said "OH"! I had to give the front desk girl broken items and she left in the lobby area!! I can see her just putting them back in after we leave in order not to deal with it. As a representative of the space, she was horribly spaced out with a negative demeanor as if she hates her job. Private room for classes and parties is cute... I believe this is where their energy goes to. I can see it good for a 1 year bday party. Ages 2 and over for open play with bore out fast. I reflect constently on how truly disappointing it was!!

Right inside the door there's a stroller parking area, which was quite crowded but we made it work. The class was full of moms, dads, other nannies, and tons of kiddos mostly ages 1.5-4. The music teacher was really charming with the kids, had lots of songs prepared, and boxes of instruments with easy rhythm games, and ways to get adults involved as well. We had a blast! There's a fairly large playroom outside of the classroom that has soft jungle gym toys, a big wooden play kitchen, lots of pretend food, balls, a huge safe space to play. I also noticed lots of cleaner nearby, which was a relief, I bet a place like that gets a lot of germs real quick. The parents of my little charge told me that I can always take him there, especially on a rainy day, its only $10 for the whole day.

Here are the reasons why I wouldn't bring my child here. When I first visited (2021 spring time) I went for an open play class. Upon walking in no staff is wearing a mask or asked for vaccination cards (FINE, I'll wear my mask and try to make sure my child isn't near other adults). The front desk person told me I could join the ending of a class (bubble time). So I went in and my child enjoyed the bubbles and crawled all over the place. Now here is where I am at fault. I didn't realize till maybe 20 minutes into my free play class that at no point at the end of the first class that they came in and rotated or cleaned the toys! So not only do they not clean between classes - they do not require anyone to wear masks (I am talking adults here, I don't expect children to wear masks). My child is still small that he is putting things in his mouth. Not to mention I saw older children doing the same. So these toys need to be either rotated or cleaned between classes. I called my husband to pick me up immediately. Forget about COVID! There is other viruses that can take out children! I recently tried to give this place another chance because they offered mommy and me classes. I called to see if they would at least require masks and they told me they don't and they don't look at vaccination cards. So that's a easy NO for me and I will not be going. I know I probably sound like a crazy mom right now, but I found other places on the island that when I walk in it smells like Lysol and they require adults to wear masks and be vaccinated. So whoever thought this is a smart model, is a failing one.. as they are being penny wise and pound foolish not capitalizing on becoming the goto place for kids even beyond birthday parties!
