House Special Rolls

Excellent sushi rolls. Although "all you can eat" dining often results in diminished quality, this was minimally noticeable at Sushi Lover. The quality of their sushi rolls was comparable to many good sushi places I've dined at. This concept enabled me to try many varieties of rolls to better acquaint myself the different styles (Ocean Roll Was my favorite; Red Dragon a close second). Service was a joy! Recommend.

Parking is convenient, and the service is excellent--friendly and attentive staff. The sushi quality is decent, making it a great spot for beginner sushi lovers. While the selection is reasonable for Green Bay, it's not the most extensive. The prices are fair for the quality you're getting. However, the carpet could use an update, and I noticed that the utensils could be a bit cleaner. The food presentation is okay but could be improved. Overall, it's a solid choice for sushi in the area, especially for those just starting to explore sushi.

Service is fast when you're sitting down even for an all you eat location. Waiting to be seated on other hand can take awhile, because obviously AYCE can take awhile. Go hungry, you'll need the room. Lots of different servers so it just depends on who you get to get a great service. Don't remember their names when I went the first or second time but both ladies were friendly. They have a location in Appleton WI as well. Food was good, just don't order too much at once. Your eyes are always bigger than stomach. They have a good waiting area but it does get packed and it's kinda loud with everyone, but the rest of the restaurant was evenly distributed with the noise.

The service and food was 20/10. I also tried the Volcano roll and it was good too. I love this place

I reflected on this place for the past 2 weeks, so my opinion would not be too tainted, as I was not impressed with our one time visit. Since then a recent reviewer included this in their review: 'The chefs demonstrated skill and creativity in every roll, ensuring a delightful culinary journey.' We obviously were not at the same sushi restaurant, or this person's perception of a "delightful culinary journey" is far different than mine (and the 3 others at our table). As you can see by my location we were sojourning in GB, there for a football game and striking off a bucket list item (the trip to Lambeau Field was a great experience even with a L for our team). We desired sushi one night and found this restaurant here on Yelp. It was an AYCE, $10 cheaper than we are used to paying, and said let's do it! I (actually 3 out of the 4 of us) were not impressed with the sushi rolls or nigiri whatsoever that we ordered. The items we ordered were quite bland and the rice used did not taste fresh on most of the SMALL cut rolls and nigiri. It was consumable, yes, but only because we were hungry and it was not hateful. Did I order like I normally would at an AYCE sushi establishment? Not at all and that was sad, because I love sushi and usually get to the point of needing a stretcher when I leave. Not this time, not this place. Service was slow, with items being brought out a little at a time, hodge podge and out of sync with four dining guests. Our waitress was nice, but that's about it. Grant it the restaurant was fairly full, but that should not calculate into overall mediocre service. Of course I will most likely never be able to return, but that has to do with living across the country. If I lived nearby I would consider, maybe, trying the place out one more time to verify my opinion since the sushi offerings are limited in GB. So yes, 'It could've been better' - much better.

I was up in Green Bay within and brought my family. We stayed downtown on the Fox River. When driving around town, we noticed "Sushi Lovers" all you can eat. It definitely had us interested, so we looked at the reviews. The restaurant got good reviews, so we decided to try since my work was paying for my portion, and my son qualified for the kids' price of $14.99. It was on Broadway, which is a main road downtown, but parking is a bit tight. Walking inside is a bit dated, a blast from the past, and looks like an old supper club with retro lighting, booths, and dark decor. Our server came to greet us right away & explained the all you can eat deal. Everything on the menu is included except drinks. There is an up-charge for sashimi and a charge for wasted food. We started with miso soup and crab ragoons, which were hot and excellent. All the rolls were fresh, flavorful, and served fast. Spicy was not very spicy. We didn't order any noodles, rice or habichi, that's for next time. My favorite roll was monkey business. Fried bananas in the middle with tuna. It was different and tasty. It's not the most upscale place, but we like divey! We recommend and will be back.

I came to this place while having a girls weekend in Green Bay with some friends. It's all you can eat. Decent price for a decent amount of food. The waitress that we had, albeit friendly, was a little too much. I really appreciated that she let me take my sushi rolls home without charging me for the extra because the price is absolutely absurd!! I actually enjoyed the food! The noodles and my sushi rolls were really good! They seemed to be practicing all COVID protocols, which is good too.

I ordered lunch- two specialty rolls, salmon sushi, and crab Rangoon for delivery through a delivery app. What showed up at my door was sincerely the most disgusting food I've ever seen. All of the fish looked like it had been sitting on someone's counter for a week in both color and texture. I ate one of the sushi pieces thinking maybe it wasn't as bad as it looked and regretted it for the rest of the day. Honestly makes me worried about the safety of those who eat here and how they could have justified sending out such poor quality food. Absolutely the grossest food I've ever been delivered.

Food is not great, but at least it's AYCE? Rice and fish were both weirdly dry. Service was nice.

Absolutely the worst hibachi experience I have ever had. We…read morewere first time visitors and came in excited, only to leave frustrated, disappointed, and still hungry. To start, the upcharge for hibachi fried rice is ridiculous. I have been to hibachi restaurants across the country and have never been charged extra just for fried rice. We paid it anyway, and the rice was severely undercooked. Next, each person at the hibachi table received approximately 1/3 cup of rice, and that is not an exaggeration. The portion was embarrassingly small. We were also supposed to receive a variety of vegetables, but the chef forgot to add all the vegetables. We ordered our steak medium and were served rare steak. It had to be placed back on the grill after it had already touched our plates, which is unsanitary and unacceptable, especially since the chef was not finished cooking for the night. On top of all of this, we ordered sushi and never received it. When we raised these issues, the server was not helpful and did not advocate for us at all. The group at our table had to argue just to receive more than 5% off the meal. Management then claimed we were not the same party, despite the fact that we were seated at the same hibachi table and experienced the same problems. Poor portions, poor execution, and poor customer service. This was not worth the money, and we will not be returning. Review update based on manager's response: Your recollection of the events is inaccurate. You appear to be confusing me with another patron who disputed their bill. This was my first visit to your restaurant, as clearly stated in my original review, so I am unsure where that assertion originated that I've been coming there for 20 years. We were not part of the party whose bill was adjusted beyond 5%. We were seated at the same table but were treated differently because we "weren't with them." As a result, our bill was not adjusted in a comparable manner. Additionally, we did not receive the bean sprouts or cabbage that were supposed to accompany the vegetables. I ordered sushi, and the server failed to submit the order until I reminded her later in the meal. The sushi arrived at the end of dinner in a to-go container. Unfortunately, I did not open it until I got home, at which point I discovered it was prepared incorrectly. Contrary to your response, we never received a gift card. Misrepresenting facts is not appropriate for a business owner. If you choose to publicly respond to reviews, it is important to ensure accuracy and awareness of what is occurring within your establishment. I understand that hibachi-style service involves managing multiple guests at once; however, patrons should not be penalized for operational or staffing issues. If a server/chef is on their first day, it is management's responsibility to provide oversight. At no point did a manager come to our table to acknowledge or apologize for the multiple errors. For these reasons, my original review and assessment remain unchanged. Proceed with caution when dining here.

The main dining room can get very loud on busy nights so I appreciated the more closed off space for a large dinner event. The caveat being we received spotty service - for example, water pitchers were set in the corner and you had to get up to pour your own water. At minimum, it would've been better to just leave pitchers on the table directly for faster access. Food was hit or miss. While we loved the appetizers, half of our table found their main entrees to be MEH. For example, my halibut arrived warm but the curry was room temperature. My colleague said her burger was one of the worst she's had. My other colleague said his steak was mediocre. People who ordered pizza loved it. An unfortunate mixed bag given the lively environment and nice ambiance. I'd come back again to give it another try because the menu rotates enough where I'm sure I'll land on some better food options next time.
