I believe there were two people working one lady was helping another customer and somebody came out from the back but didn't say anything to me so maybe she was a friend or something just hanging out? Located just across Soquel Ave from the entrance to Nicene Marks by Aptos village county park. The products are well made, not the cheap stuff you'd find at the other Santa Cruz county tourist traps. The staff were polite however I would not recommend this store if you are seeking to purchase multiple items. With all the different brands that come into this type of discount store, it's a must for me to try things on. The attendant let me slide this time so I was able to try on and purchase the 14 items I found. Overall, It seems absurd to limit how many times a customer can go into the dressing room. They already limit you to a max of 8 items to take into the dressing room, and have you hang up the items when you return from the dressing room. The manager informed that they needed this policy to allow their staff to leave on time at the end of the day (even though leaving the store I noted it was only 2 pm).
