The wonderful thing about this small boutique is the customer service. The owner pretty much let my group take over her store, making a mess of it with all the different shoes we were considering. She also allowed us to go and try things on in her little dressing "room" (a curtain in the corner of the store) at our leisure. I came out and walked around the store in a sweater I was thinking about the entire time we were there. I added a fascinator to my head and a pair of metallic pumps to my feet as I continued to browse. The owner was attentive and sweet, but she never followed us around or tried to sell us on anything. The fashions were nice, and the shoes were nicer. The prices were average, with the exception of sale items. The store is on Facebook and regulars often message the owner to put items on hold. Apparently, this place has a pretty decent local following. I can see why. The owner treats her customers like her girlfriends, but still manages to remain professional. My only complaint was the lack of sizes for the clothing she carried. On three small racks of clothing, she only had one or two of the same pieces, in very limited sizes. I ended up walking out the door with the very items I had walked around in while browsing: I fabulous sweater, a very Kate Middleton-esque black flower fascinator, and a pair of adorable metallic Franco Sarto pumps. read more

Having a store such as Queens Shoes & More takes the edge out of shopping being that you can find anything you need for that special occassion or day to day just by walking through those doors. Complete outfits from head to toe, accessories, clothes, shoes, purses, gift certificates, you name it and it's there for you!. Yes, for watsonville it has good stuff, i think is over priced. I can get similar tops for a fraction of the price at any other stores, she caries very similar things than forever 21 for almost double! :( The shoes never go down on price. a pair of nine west shoes they have are half more of what they are selling them for at any other shoe store at the mall or the web. and when I went the lady had a baby. when people shop is to relax and enjoy, not to hear a baby cry or you having to wait for the owner to change the diaper in order to help. Not the best place for a baby in such a small store. The dressing room is covered by a "curtain" I mean, if you are paying over $100 for shoes and over $50 for a simple dress... customer deserve better privacy. read more

So far the best boutique in town! Sindy is a local designer with her Sindy Collection and also carries the cutest little girl clothing, most coordinating with her Sindy Line (I think it's Mommy and Me collection?). Sad, my friend Ruby posted a review yesterday and the owner was unprofessional and posted it on her facebook :( I use to be a fan of the store, sad to say not no more. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and the owner said something like "i don't understand negative comment" well, she is always criticizing "bad" fashion, if its not what she likes its not good enough. that is negativity, I heard her many times while shopping with at her store! Yes Sindy (the owner) is very nice, well she has to, she needs to make $. The comment about the baby was taken out of proportion, some people don't like kids when they shop, that its normal. Just like some people don't like noice, dogs, etc., everyone is different. I actually never mind the baby. Instead of being unprofessional the owner could have just responded to the comment instead of doing what she did. I wish the business the best and remind the owner that she is not the center of the world. My friend is not jealous or envious, she actually has a great quality life that she has nothing to envy! On my part, I just got hired for a newspaper and was thinking on doing an article about Queens during the holidays to help out the business, sorry not no more :( Like you said Queens is NOT for everyone, we can put our money in better places... but can you survive without customers??? best of luck read more

Sad to say but will not go back. I like to support local stores but this one has just really made me sad and upset. I was ready to buy a pair of pricy shoes (over &100). I asked if they matched prices because I had seen them on the web for $75. The worker said not because she was not the owner... and that's it! she did not even try to help me. I was more insulted by the customer service than anything. She did not called the "owner" or even checked the website. I decided not to buy the shoes so then i went to the small clothing section. I wanted a shirt that was the only one but it was missing a button, I asked if they could fix it. She said "we sell it as is".WOW that blew me away... I really wanted the shirt! FYI the pieces that I got from the "SINDY" collection have all gone bad in different ways, once I took one back and she said "read the label". Mind you, the label said nothing on the care, so then she answered " it probably came off, but you were supposed to dry clean". Well I did, but the quality of the seams is very poor that they come of after you wear them ;( I'm done with queens!!! read more

When I first stared to shop at Queens Shoes it was the best! As time went on I became a regular. Sad to say I can no longer bring myself to shop there due to the retune policy. I bought a pair of shoes, they tore and the owner refused to return them. I waited for a week for the shoes to get fixed. Then they ripped again! I asked her to at least give me store credit, which she denied. So now I am left with a pair of ripped shoes, and one less place to shop in Watsonville. read more

I am a fan of owners taste in shoes but must agree that they are overpriced for a low income town such as Watsonville. There aren't too many sales but if you want cheap shoes and look cheap you can go to Payless, Also, some of her clothing is hand-made which does clash with her high end shoes and only suits her taste, not much variation.
