I refused to let her do it, and I was even told that I was the only customer who had ever refused until then. When it came time to pay, the salon owner, Joice, charged me $82.00, claiming the menu I had been given was outdated. I had actually intended to leave a generous tip, but I decided against it due to their lack of honesty and professionalism. I considered calling the police to enforce the price listed on the menu, but I ultimately decided to just pay and leave. I paid $40.00 in cash and $42.00 on my card (I have a photo of the receipt). I am posting this review on Google to warn others about the salon's dishonest and illegal practices and to discourage them from visiting--especially since the salon is located in an unsafe area. I felt extorted, and I will not return to a place that lacks such basic honesty and professionalism. Another important detail: the owner, Ms. Joice, is a liar. She claimed the service menu was outdated and that the website already listed the manicure and pedicure price as $80.00. I checked the website and discovered yet another lie; this makes me believe that the quality of the salon's services and products lacks any credibility, as the owner sets a terrible example for her staff.

We were then hurried to the drying station, where one of her nails was smudged. Rather than redoing it, another employee tried to smooth it out with her fingertip.
