Application takes between 1-1/2 to 2 hours, but the time just flies by. And when you finally sit up you look wonderful! Jade gives you a couple of swirlies to untangle your new lashes when needed, and checks in to make sure your lashes are wearing well and you don't have any questions. I mean how great is that? The owner Jade is very charming and has built a lovely studio just for her Eyelash trade. You can tell she really knows what she's doing and she's wonderful at it. Jade explained to me the different kinds, curls, and lengths of lashes just because I was curious. Because of my eye shape she wanted to use longer lashes in the middle of my eye to really open them up and accentuate the shape. She also used multiple different lengths to help with that and to keep them looking natural. And I have to say, she nailed it!! 10/10 recommend getting your lashes done by Jade. She is so good at what she does and is one of the most reasonably priced on Oahu (by far). I recently graduated from HPU and when I was scrambling last minute to find someone to apply my first set of eyelash extensions for my big day, Jade was the only one who happily offered to take me in so last minute, while everyone else [rudely] told me that they had no more available appointments in the short time frame. So, I was really reluctant to update my post because Jade is so amazingly sweet. A couple days after having my extensions I realized that the glue was really clunky. It was so clunky that it made my lashes really stiff. I know it's painful and bad to remove them yourself but in this case when I removed them myself it wasn't even painful because of the clunky glue I was able to just peel them off my real lashes. Sadly, I'm not returning and sticking with the glue on lashes for a bit. read more

I would recommend Jade to anyone!! Not only is she really flexible with your schedule and accommodating last minute visits, but she always delivers what you ask for! I've never received lash extensions before and was really concerned that my lifestyle would make maintaining them too difficult...I'm outdoors a lot, workout daily, love to swim, and although I hate to admit it, I'm not a 'graceful' sleeper. I definitely rub my eyes when I sleep. Jade is so meticulous in her work though that the extensions always last for me! She's terrific about providing care instructions and even doing a touch up if there are any mishaps in your first week. I had my lashes done by Jade for about three months before I tried another individual. Since Jade was my very first lash experience I simply wanted to compare styles and techniques. The purpose of my review is not to be critical. Rather, I hope it's more constructive. First off, I do have to agree with a few of the reviews. When I got my initial set, I wasn't sure how to react. They were long, yes. However, I wanted more of a subtle look instead of a "Well hey there, long lashes!" Jade assured me I'd get used to them, and I did. However, I think an adequate consultation should take place prior to applying lashes. This may include asking customers what look they're going for, their reason for getting lashes, and showing them different last lengths and curls, etc. Fast forward a few more sessions. One thing I really appreciated about Jade is that she does free touch ups a few days/weeks after to make sure your lashes are doing alright. Normally, I just tipped her a few extra dollars as a thank you. However, towards the end of the three months, I noticed my lashes were falling out like crazy, leaving really embarrassing bald spots on my lash line. We had gone with thicker lashes and she was also adding volume to them. I always tried to be pretty meticulous with my lashes so I always wondered if I did something different than before (i.e. did I work out too early and not let the glue set??). Either way, when I went to my new lash lady, she explained that the lashes used might have been too heavy and that my natural lashes were looking a little unhealthy. She suggested I use a type of lash conditioner to help my natural lashes grow and to help strengthen them. She also used lighter lashes than what I had before. Bottom line, if you do get lashes, just make sure you understand the risks-eye lash extensions have the potential to damage your natural lashes- you still have to take care of your original set so that you actually have (strong) lashes to apply extensions on. So there you have it. I do agree with other reviewers that if you want big, Jade may be your go to. She is incredibly sweet and really cares about her clients. I did however, want more subtle and natural - and I'd prefer if others commented me more on how natural my lashes looked vs. asking me where I got my lashes done (this actually happened- she could just tell they weren't real). And after a few scheduling mishaps, and getting regular mosquito bites while getting my lashes done (I might suggest a fan since her lash area is open to her patio), I've decided to take my business else where. Regardless of where you go though, do your research, take care of your natural lashes, and try other individuals until you find the right fit for you. read more

But wow you get what you pay for. 1st time lashes came off so fast, 2nd time refill (which they made me pay) being clumpy AF, heavy AF, super glued to hell and back and poking the hell out of lids making them sore and sensitive. This was my first time at live love lash. I love Jade! Can I just start off by saying she is so committed and passionate about the craft she does. It's so hard to find artists that really take the time and labor to sit there and individually pile on lashes one by one and not half ass you and cut the time and work in half. However her work speaks for it self! I've never met another lash tech that tells you she wants you back in a week later to check on your lashes to make sure that it still looks perfect and that you are satisfied. It's been almost a week and I have nothing to touch up it looks just as perfect as 7 days ago. The pictures don't do it close to justice.
