One of my Green Terror is in critical condition, has not been eating and has been sitting at the bottom of the tank as a result. I have been treating the water with medicine but the fish have not shown any improvement. So it might be a nasty strain of ich or insufficient medicine. It's unfortunate because I considered this store as a clean one. However I suppose there is some fault on my end for not quarantining my fish. My advice to anyone buying a fish from here, or any aquatic store for that matter, please inspect the fish before you buy it, and once you do buy it make sure you quarantine it for a couple weeks beforehand to make sure it does not spread any diseases to your other fish at home.

I've been back and forth to this vet. I don't like the wait time because it's usually 3 to 4 hours…read more There is no appointment to be made. However their pricing cannot be beat. I've been to others in the area and they are 3 to 4 times as expensive. I cannot afford to take care of my pets if I go to other vets. On this last visit, I decided to go Monday morning and sure enough there was less people. The entire time I spent there was an hour and a half to get my new puppy her puppy pack. I called around for puppy vaccination rates and another place was over $200 for the first set of shots. Here, it was $67.50. The puppy pack includes shots, heartworm, flea and tick, as well as a nail trim, the parasite exam, the doctor visit, and a 2 pound bag of Hill's science diet food. They even shaved her back a little to prevent pasty butt due to her poodle hair. I was sent home with a reusable bag containing her folder of information and vaccine documentation. Staff here has always loved on all my dogs treating them like the cutest things they've ever seen. They are super cute of course but other places are so clinical with no care for the joy these pets bring us. This place does a real service to the local neighborhood. I put in a few bucks for their stray dog piggy bank. I imagine they get quite a few of those as well.

Alamo has been his vet for some years now but his end of life treatment was horrible. It was not a "Fond memory " for us as you emphasize in your messages. It was disheartening to us as his family. To see him suffer because he wasn't given enough dose to put him down peacefully. To watch him be taken back to inject him directly to the heart so he can pass instantaneously...by himself. AND then to bring him back with eyes wide open, his purple tongue sticking out..was a memory we will never ever forget. Our baby suffered at your hands. We took him to you to end his life peacefully in our arms...and you took that from us. Shame on you for not being trained properly, for thinking telling us "this is the first time this has happened " is supposed to justify your actions. We trusted in you and your facility to ease our pain just a little, but you caused the opposite. More pain!! Thanks Dr. Copeland for absolutely ruining this experience for us. Horrible!!
