Great place for all your dog needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable, youll find things here that other places dont have. I highly recommend them. Now Id like to mention mybe to the corporate big wigs. When I first found the store it was on a Saturday morning just a few minutes after they opened. As I drove around following my gps I kept looking for the store but all I could find was a building that looked abandoned! Lol windows are filthy Wow come on big wigs clean it up . Oh and they have a low cost vet stuff in the parking lot on weekends. So its a great thing for the area. I highly recommend this place. read more

Decent place! Staff are always nice, decent selection of animal food and accessories. Small selection of fish compared to other stores. Nothing too crazy in this store, I would say that their selection of products are a bit pricey, maybe on par with Petco's prices despite them advertising as "discount pet supplies". Other than the prices I would recommend this pet store as it's pretty accessible. read more

How I heard about it: One of my friends has been telling me to go to here. She told me that this is where she bought all her dog food and treats that are at a reasonable price. What I bought: I bought a huge bag of Apetito dog food for my dog. I got some kitten food that was clearanced out. I then got some treats which were salmon skin sticks, jerky sticks, and cat toys for both of them. Why I liked it: I was extremely shocked that I only spent 60 bucks in total for everything. I got a huge bag of quality dog, which would be twice the amount at heb. I was amazed that I got everything I needed and kept it under a hundred dollars. I am definitely coming back again read more

For a discount pet shop I thought this place was pretty pricey. It is located across an H-E-B so I figured I would try it just to compare prices. I was very disappointed. Over $30 for a medium size bag of dog food is a bit too much for my bank account. They may have better quality dog food, but my dogs eat chicken poop so I'm not sure they're that picky. I didn't see a wide variety of pet supplies for the size of the store. There was quite a bit of empty space throughout. I was expecting a wide variety of items for all types of pets from birds to cats to turtles and other reptiles. They mainly cater to dog supplies and have a few live animals towards the back. I purchased a pooper scooper and a jar of local honey. I doubt I'll be coming back anytime soon. read more

This is the second time we've called ahead to see if they carried something. The first time was for an XL kennel, and this time for a muzzle. Both times we were told they had the item we were looking for, both times we got there and the shelves were pretty much bare. Don't waste your time. read more

There's one on the Southside. Yay! Same specials. I like the service better at Potranco but I love this location. It's still good service but not as up on it. They were a little busy when we went so that was a draw back and they didn't have the help there to carry out the big 50pound sacks of food. But I wouldn't knock 'em though. read more

Gave them a try. Fine items, prices seemed fair... the staff was great. Me and my loving pooch were greeted immediately. Found our items and while being rung up was told to grab some free treats for my little buddy. The young man at the register began a conversation with me. Heavy rain prevented my little doggy and I from leaving, and prevented people from coming in. Soon I found myself in a fun conversation with multiple staff members till the rain died down. By the end they even offered to hold my little one while I pulled my car to the front door. Nice people. read more

Wasn't too impressed. One star is maybe a bit too harsh but maybe not. I didn't have an awful experience or anything but it seemed more expensive with less selection and was just kind of..strange? I regret buying cat supplies here because I could have gotten better ones for cheaper elsewhere, it was just nearby so I stopped in. read more

Staff is always very helpful. Prices seem to be higher, but when buying for 5 dogs, it's actually cheaper when it comes to 50lb dog food. Dog snacks are much healthier there also. read more
