Carmela is a local chain, like many coffee shops and restaurants in this area. The coffee isn't the best you've had, but it is decent if you need a quick cup of coffee. They always have a variety of latte options that change from location to location. This one made me a cinnamon and brown sugar latte and it was good. My eight-year-old daughter enjoys their strawberry lemonade. This location has plenty of seating indoor and outdoor making it a great place to work too.

Stopped into Carmela Coffee in Park Place and ordered a small skim latte--very good! The space is beautifully decorated with a cozy, modern vibe. A few helpful tips: there's a small surcharge if you pay with a credit card, and be sure to sign in on the screen at the counter to earn points toward their rewards program. A great spot to relax with a drink, enjoy an avocado toast, or pick up a fresh pastry. Worth a visit if you're in the area!

Coffee is decently priced and delicious! I did think the food was outrageously priced and pretty average. The avocado in the avocado toast doesn't have any seasoning in it so I would maybe avoid that next time I go back. Adding a poached egg was nearly a $3 up charge also. I would definitely come back but maybe just for coffee. The staff were extremely friendly! I loved the inside seating here also. There are a few large "community" tables, smaller tables, various couches, chairs, stools, and benches.

I just love this place! From the food to the coffee to the ambiance it's so perfect! I had someone ask me if this place was any good and I said 100% guarantee! I recommend to try it out! Everything is so good!

Place was packed with people on their laptops and chatting. A very tight parking lot due to a ton of other businesses. Cool decor inside and ordered an expresso which was too bitter, but my fault I usually ask for a pinch of milk. The Cappuchino was excellent though. We just sat and relaxed. Good price too. 3.7 stars here...

I absolutely love going to this coffee shop. Alexander usually takes my order and makes me the most delicious decaffeinated cappuccino with almond milk. I look forward to my visit there at least 3 times a week!

Ran in for coffee. Stayed for the salad. Who would've thought the coffee shop would make a good salad. Light and filling. Carmela has a few different locations but this one stays open later. Free parking. The ladies behind the counter were so sweet. The decor was fall festive. Seemed to be the go to place for studying and doing homework.

This morning I went to Carmela Coffee at 5660 N Military Trl in Boca Raton. The shop was cozy, and clean, and has outdoor seating too. Alahandra helped me, and she is always great, she made me a Cortado which is an espresso and milk, and was exceptional. It's served in a glass, and was delicious. I also ordered a breakfast croissant sandwich, and substituted brie cheese for cheddar, again it was super. My buddy who met me for breakfast had an avocado toast and a cappuccino that looked awesome. We'll be back often !

The vibes here? Wow. So stylish with a relaxed boho atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The food is on the pricier side, but honestly, it's phenomenal--totally worth it. Service was great, and the baristas were incredibly friendly. A gem of a spot.

Absolutely love the newest coffee/ breakfast spot in Boca! I've come here several times and each time I've had wonderful service and a delicious meal. It's hard finding a local, warm and inviting neighborhood coffee spot... but I think I've found it in Carmela's. Definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!

I usually eat a half for one game and save the other half for the night game lol. The service is great and the line moves fast. Inside was bright and lively if you wish to stay and eat. Overall, a great place to get a hoagie or two or three.

Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.

Despite the lack of a/c and rough conditions they were in, the staff were super friendly behind the counter. My husband and I orders some delicious subs on fresh sesame seed bread. They're super generous filling up their subs and the ingredients are fresh and top notch. As a pescatarian, my options are more limited, but my caprese sandwich was fabulous. We also ordered a cannoli which they hand fill. It was the best cannoli I have had in South Florida and tasted like the ones I used to enjoy from the North End in Boston. Finally a great cannoli! Due to the power issue, it was a little dark inside. However, this is a true, lived in authentic Italian deli. Again, if you're from up North, you will feel like you are at home here. V&S is the real deal, and very much worthy of all the rave reviews people have shared with me.

It transports you to an Italian NY deli. The place is packed, bustling spot and that alone tells you everything you need to know. You know it's good when you walk in and the place is packed. We split the Chicken Cutlet Florentine and it was absolutely incredible. Heads up: the full size is massive, so splitting it is definitely the move and still totally worth it!! The service was super friendly despite how busy it was. I had my eye on the black & white cookie too because what's an authentic Italian deli without one? Sounds like my next visit to Boca includes trying more stuff!

You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, and everything always tastes fresh and well put together. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. I usually get the Arthur Ave, it comes with prosciutto, stracciatella, arugula, and sundried peppers. I like to add pesto, which really takes it to the next level. My boyfriend can't have cheese, so he orders the Arthur Ave without it and swaps in lettuce for the arugula. He also adds tomato, pickle, and onion, and loves it every time. We've also tried other sandwiches like the buto cutlet, Boar's Head ham sandwich, bresaola, BLT, and more, everything has been consistently good. We especially love their fresh focaccia bread. It's soft, flavorful, and really makes the sandwiches stand out. It's definitely our go-to choice for any sandwich there. If you go later in the day, sometimes they are out so keep that in mind. We feel lucky to have this spot right around the corner from us. It's one of our regular go tos, whether we want something quick or just a really good sandwich. We'll definitely keep coming back and recommending it to others!
