Tin muffin is our go to! The servers are the absolute best and are super sweet and helpful! The food is phenomenal and they are constantly switching specials into the mix which keeps things fresh. The location is also perfect to sit outdoors and indoors the vibes are always great. Super unique spot in Boca unlike any other. Two tips if you're looking to try. Make sure to bring cash as they are a cash only establishment.

Delicious food! Service a little haphazard but it's a quaint hole in the wall. Cash only so don't forget! Will be back. Closed Sundays.

What amazing treat just came back from my workout. I walked to the beach and on the way to the beach. I passed the Tin muffin cafe and I said I have to come back the staff the owner this place is filled with Love and you Feel like you went back in time and you feel like your grandpa or grandma made you breakfast and lunch. I just had a chicken salad sandwich. I actually had a half a tuna and a half of chicken salad sandwich And everything was five stars and then they surprise me with some beautiful dessert Brett thank you so much and thank you so much for your team and this place is the best.

Stopped here for a late lunch before going to Mizner Park for a bit of shopping. The place is very quaint. While they were busy with many waiting for a table, it was well worth it in a sunny and breezy day. They had some amazing specials and everything was delicious. I opted for the chicken salad salad which came with a pumpkin muffin. The pepper vinaigrette was amazing. Other items ordered were post pie with salad and chicken pecan quiche with salad and a turkey sandwich with pea soup. Everyone really enjoyed their choices. The quiche was a decent size and the side salads were nice and fresh ! We shared a slice of banana cake and it was really good the cake was moist and the frosting was creamy and the right amount of sweetness. Our server Jennifer was awesome. She was cheerful, fun and smiled! Thank you Jennifer for taking good care of us! The bathroom was worth the visit too. Elaborately decorated for Valentine's Day. I hear they do an amazing Easter theme, Unfortunately, I'll be back in Ohio and won't see. Will check back on Yelp to see if anyone posts the next themed bathroom. Great place to visit ! Please note. They only take cash or check !

Decided to treat myself and have a lunch break every now and again. Walked on over to the Tin Muffin after getting several recommendations to try it. Cute little place with a family owned charm and warmth to it. We sat on-site and enjoyed the beautiful day. The street traffic is not too loud considering it's along palmetto. We had: *Chicken Salad Sandwich which was a good serving of Chicken salad on fresh bread. *Chicken Pecan Quiche my boyfriend said was absolutely delicious. One of the most unique quiches he's ever had. *Chicken Pot Pie was delicious as well *Chocolate cake was beautifully layered between the icing and cake. Not too sweet TIP go around any holiday! They decorate the bathroom to a whole nother level! OMG I wish I took a photo of their Christmas bathroom

Would definitely come back, coffee was terrific with a hint of vanilla! I usually Love avocado toast but this version has an olive oil before and after taste. Not to my liking but the presentation, salad and fruit was delish!! Went with a friend, staff very friendly! Fun atmosphere for a lunch time experience with a friend in Boca!

It's like we walked into an episode of Gilmore Girls. An amazing chicken salad sandwich and fantastically yummy gazpacho soup!!! Oh and their iced tea is sublime

If you read no further, know CASH ONLY! I have passed by many times and my friend Holly highly recommended The Tin Muffin to me, so I decided to stop by for a quick lunch after a movie in the area. They have very limited parking but on a weekday there was plenty of street parking and unlike Miami, it is all free. If you are looking for quaint and cozy, they have both in spades. The cafe is co-owned by Phillip Thomas and Brent Bartkow who were inspired to open the Tin Muffin from their families cooking. You can find it next to a jewelery shop on Palmetto Park Road, east of Downtown Boca Raton. Their motto is "Happiness is Homemade". Tin Muffin offers both outside and indoor seating. The menu is filled with the kind of food that ladies who lunch like, tea, lemonade, quiche, salads, pot pies, and sandwiches in an Americana decorating scheme. They have their regular menu plus a board of specials that had things on it like lobster rolls and chicken sandwiches. I started with the mint raspberry lemonade. It looked like a Florida sunset in a glass and was refreshing on this hot Florida day. For lunch I ordered the pot pie and salad special which came very quickly. A small steaming pot pie filled with creamy chicken and vegetables was accompanied by a lovely fresh salad with a delightful home made honey mustard dressing. The Tin Muffin Cafe seems to be very popular for their chicken salad. I saw several people come in to get it for takeout. You could take some to the beach a short drive away and have a wonderful beach picnic. I saw a chicken salad platter with their signature muffin delivered to another table and it looked so good I would order it next time. One thing I especially liked here is that they take a lot of care with presenting the food, with details like fresh fruit garnishes and arranging the food attractively to make everything look its most appealing. Everything was picture perfect and deliciously home made. I ended up taking a slice of their epic chocolate cake home with me. It was a dense fudgy delight. The service could not have been better. They were extremely attentive and everything was delivered quickly. They even made sure I had a refill of lemonade to take on the road with me which was very much appreciated when I had to get in my 100 plus degree car. Note, they will also take checks but I haven't written a check in years, probably around the same time I last used a payphone. This was a nice lunch treat and I want to come back to try that chicken salad!

Festive and pretty place for a holiday lunch!

Whenever I head south, it's the very first place I stop--and when I'm driving home, it's the last place I hit before getting back on the road. I even have to bring home a full order for my family, three hours away. I literally drive three hours just to eat Laspada's. That's how good they are. It was one of my favorite places when I lived in South Florida, and after all these years, they're still making the best hoagies I've ever had. Fresh, flavorful, stacked, and totally unmatched. If you know, you know. And if you don't--go. You'll understand immediately.

I was driving down Glades Road on a rainy Sunday around 10:45 am. Decided to pull over into this…read moreshopping center to see what was open until the rain let up (which it didn't). Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.

We split the Chicken Cutlet Florentine and it was absolutely incredible. Heads up: the full size is massive, so splitting it is definitely the move and still totally worth it!! The sandwich itself was good, made with quality ingredients and solid flavor overall. The bread and fillings were fresh, and you can tell they care about what they're serving. One small detail: I wasn't offered any sauce suggestions, and because of that, my sandwich ended up feeling a bit dry. I think a simple recommendation from the staff would've elevated the experience. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The place is small, but it gets the job done -- very much a neighborhood deli vibe. Overall, a good, no-frills sandwich spot worth trying, especially if you're already in the area.

FIVE STARS. GAS STATION? YES. GAS STATION? ALSO YES…read more Let's get something straight. Some of the best food on earth comes from places that look like you shouldn't trust them. Gas stations. Side streets. Tiny counters with three tables and a refrigerator humming in the corner. I saw WhatSub on Yelp and thought, "Alright. Let's see if the hype survives State Road 7." It didn't just survive. It flexed. I am fully on board with five-star gas station cuisine. In fact, I seek it out. And WhatSub doesn't just play the game -- it competes internationally. This place comes dangerously close to Sandwich Master in Turin, Italy. I'm not exaggerating. And it narrowly beats out Generoso's in Coral Springs, which is not an easy feat. The bread? Legit. The meats? Layered like someone actually respects the architecture of a sandwich. The balance? No soggy mess. No overkill. No amateur hour. And then the cannoli. Freshly piped. Not pre-filled. Not sitting there getting sad and humid. Fresh. Filled to order. Shell still crisp. Ricotta smooth and balanced -- not overly sweet, not grainy, not lazy. Best cannoli I've had in South Florida since Lorenzo's in North Miami Beach. That's not a casual comparison. That's a statement. Now let's talk atmosphere. It's technically in a gas station plaza -- and yet the owners and staff are actually speaking Italian behind the counter. Not performative. Not touristy. Just normal conversation like you accidentally stepped into a deli in Torino. It feels real. So real that I went back the next day. And then again. I am not joking. When I ask myself, "What was my favorite thing?" the answer is dangerous: Everything I ordered. Cold subs. Hot subs. Cannoli. Repeat. This is the kind of place you almost don't want to write about because once the word spreads, lines get longer and secrets disappear. But credit where credit is due. WhatSub is proof that greatness doesn't need chandeliers. Sometimes it just needs good bread, proper technique, and someone who actually cares.

Came here because I saw it was a new Italian sub shop near my area. Saw good reviews and wanted to…read moretry it myself. Behind the counter was a husband/wife duo who were the business owners (didn't get their names) who stated they were from Sicily. After much deliberation, I decided to order the Arthur Ave and the Milano. The Arthur Ave is a cold sandwich that had prosciutto, arugula, stracciatella, sun dried tomato. You have a choice of bread from white, wheat rolls, and focaccia. I was informed by the husband the focaccia is made fresh daily by his wife so of course I had to try that. The wife was nice enough to let me try a sample of the prosciutto and I have to say -- it was delicious, so getting it on a sandwich was going to be a no-brainer. The Milano was for my father. Watching them make the sandwich, they put two huge pieces of chicken cutlet, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and freshly sliced mozzarella. Again, I got the focaccia bread. Both sandwich's were drizzled on the top of the focaccia bread with fresh Italian olive oil which was just the cherry on top. I had told the owners it was my first time and we had a great conversation, that they were nice enough to give me and my parents 3 free mini cannolis -- which was completely unexpected and highly appreciated! As far as the food goes, I don't have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe how delicious this sandwich was. From the delicious meats, the fresh veggies, and my personal favorite part -- that focaccia bread. I would buy that alone. They had specials on their menu the day I went that was a not on their menu -- a meatball sub and arancini balls. Also, keep in mind, that this shop is inside the Mobil gas station on 441 and SW 18th. There is a sign on the outside of the gas station, but if you're driving by and unsure of the location, I can confirm it is inside the Mobil. Overall, a great experience; delicious food, great people behind the counter. Only caveat I would say is it is a little bit higher price for a sandwich, but with the current economy where a McDonalds burger is over 10 bucks, you truly get what you pay for and that is top quality, fresh and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
