It doesn't get any better than Living on Island Time! From the crew to the catch, you can't go wrong. Captain Dale and Captain Max do everything they can to put you on fish. The crew is awesome. There are good days and there are days where the fish just aren't biting, but there is never a bad day on this boat. Young or old, experienced or never held a fishing pole before, you'll be comfortable aboard. Poles and bait are provided if you don't have your own. The crew is great with newbies as well as young kids learning to drop their line. They are there in an instant when your hook needs more bait and are very knowledgeable about what's biting so they will set you up with a proper rig. This is a drift fishing boat so you can expect some line tangles, but you can also expect to catch kings, snapper of many kinds, grouper, Mahi, cobia, Porgie, tuna... just to name a few. The boat is equipped with bathrooms, an air-conditioned cabin and a cooler of water to stay hydrated. If I could give them more stars I would! My Husband and Son just went for a 4 hour Drift Fishing Adventure. My son's first trip, he was a little nervous! Captain Dale couldn't have made his day any better helping put him on his first fish. He ended up catching 4 and the most out of everyone on that ride. His Strawberry Snapper was delicious! The boat was EXTREMELY clean. For my OCD Husband to say that...I know they went above and beyond! Everyone was friendly and attentive. I can't say enough good things about my charter! From booking, to getting to the dock and being greeted and having such personable employees who genuinely want you to have a good time. Living on Island Time is really not in Lake Worth but more precisely Hypoluxo and Boynton Beach. The boat is a drift boat where the captain and shipmates work to assist you and ensure you have a great time. The location is inside of the marina and once you park you pay at the hut and then give them the ticket as you board the boat. Everyone is very friendly on the boat and the ship is kept very very clean along with clean his and hers restroom. On both occasions I have gone Matt was the captain and Yessi was a shipmate along with this time Chris. If you need bait put on they help. You need a rod they have one for you. You need help using the rod they will do that. You need help reeling in the fish or hooking them or taking them off the hook or even cleaning them. They got your back. You rarely have to ask they are right there and will offer to. For $40 you get four hours of going to various spots to try to land some fish. They usually have doughnuts on board for you and they have a cooler so you can bring your own drinks to add in their cooler and not have to worry about bringing ice. Just remember to bring cash to tip your mates as they work strictly for tips and that they do. After the boat returns to dock sniff sniff they will clean your fish quickly for you in whatever style you like. I usually tip them a buck a fish unless it's a monster then you need to make an adjustment accordingly. They have a sister boat southern comfort I have heard is wonderful too. So stay posted for that review but I think Island Time may well be my all time favorite drift boat due to the cleanliness, reasonable prices, and friendly staff and riders. Definitely a big fan of these guys. The biggest con for me is that I'm terrible at fishing and only got a small kingfish when I went. The pros are pretty extensive: It's a little cheaper and they take credit card for the ticket (tip in cash still) There's a sublime/Pepper pandora station on The cabin has AC Cursing is allowed. It's closer to my house They don't have the water/drinks available on the boat, but that's you're responsibility in life anyway. This drift boat is one of the best I've been on. The captains and mates are excellent. They put us on fish even though the bite was off. If you are taking your own rod and reel make sure you don't have braided line because they won't let you fish it. Which is the case with most drift boats. If you are in south Florida and looking for a great way to spend a morning or afternoon, i would highly recommend going fishing with this boat. read more

Went on a night and a morning trip recently. The night trip was amazing, caught two kings and ate like one for a few days after. The day trip had crazy wind and waves. The guys have some balls and still went out and we caught dolphin king and mutton. Someone on the boat came 20 feet away from landing a black fin. Great crew and captain. clean nice boat. Been going on party boats for years all over the east coast. This one is on the A list. read more

Understaffed, both sides of boat tangled multiple times and pool for largest fish given to a 9 year old boy and some low class lady fighting with a child claiming fish was hers and to top things off there was no intervention from the crew. Do not recommend! read more

The crew was great but the fishing was poor. The four hour fishing trip consisted of two hours of drive time and two hours of actual fishing time. We found fish right away but moved after a very short period and I don't know why. We will take our next trip out of Fort Lauderdale to increase our fishing time. read more

I made both trips am and pm Wednesday June 19th I found the crew and captain as good as it gets. I traveled from Port ST LUCIE just to fish the boat and I am glad I made the trip. This is THE boat in the Boynton/Hypoluxo/Lake Worth area that beats all the others, hands down. Captain John and his mates are the best! They are extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, very professional, and very efficient- when your hook is empty, they are already standing behind you with a bait in their hand so you can get your line back in the water as quickly as possible. Ditto when you catch fish (and you WILL catch lots of fish with them)- they have the fish off the hook and rebaited faster than anyone I've ever seen and you're back in the water catching another fish right away. With a boat full of people, it is inevitable that there will be line crossings. These guys get the lines uncrossed with an expertise and speed that baffles me- guess they're used to tracing all the lines and knowing which one goes over and which one goes under. What makes the difference is that Capt. John is a second generation fisherman who also dives these waters so he really knows what's down there. The boat has the latest fishfinder electronics, a COLD AC, and good, well-maintained equipment. I've had the pleasure of fishing with them several times and they make it so easy to go home with a cooler full of fish for dinner or a fish fry. Lastly, they ALL have a great sense of humor which makes for a really fun trip! In fact, we'll be fishing with them AGAIN tomorrow and Wednesday!! read more
