Worst experience ever. Josh the manager literally said to our face "I'm not here" when we were trying to get some help from him. Online manager Naomi Centeno kept lying to us. Told us to call within a week of our voucher expiring so that she can extend it for a year and then within that last week window told us to call on the expiration day to extend it for 39 days only. No real policy to quote or share, just made up numbers and lies. There's $364 bucks I'll never see again because a corporation and their crooked employees stole it from us. Avoid at all costs. Zero rating if I could. In April my husband and I decided to go to living spaces to get furniture for our apartment and air bnb in Oregon. The sales woman, Christine, walked us through our order, said that the delivery to Oregon would be no issue and when we told her it would be upstairs, she stated that it would be fine. When we talked to finance, we were reassured that a delivery upstairs would be no problem and that we wouldn't need to start making payments until the furniture arrived. They said they would call us for a delivery date. After this, communication became spotty at best. They were using a third party delivery service to ship and eventually, there was no communication. A week after the 4th of July, we were told they would be delivering, even though we let them know that we needed dates so that we could plan on being there. Christine had stopped responding by this point as well. When they delivered, they refused to bring it indoors and left it on the sidewalk. We were lucky enough to have someone around to move things indoors until we could get to Oregon and move it upstairs. At this point, we had also made two payments which again, weren't supposed to be started until delivery. Terrible customer service, terrible communication, and awful delivery process. I repeat and I repeat again -- DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from HERE! The warranty on their mattresses goes as follow. Got an issue -- pay the crappy $99 inspection fee first. (What gives!?!?!). Then, one of their "clauses" is that if there is a dip in a mattress, then nothing is warrantied unless it meets a 1.5" threshold. Oh really!?!? Imagine sleeping on a bed that is slanted and off by just even hypothetically 5". Spinal doctors will tell you that any cause of pain could be result of just fractional mm in balance / stability. Lastly, if you buy from them -- as they are a re-seller -- you can't just contact the mfg (e.g. Stearns and Foster) for warranty claims. The original mfg will not honor it. Shame on this place!?!?! Did our best to resolve, but the manager and some staff here are out to close tickets fast and in no way empathetic. STEER FAR AWAY from this PLACE. read more

Just tried to exchange an $800 rug for another color and was told I couldn't because we brought it in more than 7 days later. I explained that we've been dealing with the nasty flu for the past 3 weeks that's been going around (4 of us got it...one at a time), that I called 2 times immediately after ordering the rug, and that I went back to the store the very next day to change the color and none of it was considered. I was never told about the 7 days...apparently, it's in print somewhere. I had even asked if I could contact the supplier directly to change the color (save them shippingcosts)...they said I couldn't do that either. So now I'm stuck with the rug. They went on and on about their customer service when we were buying our sectional and rug...oh yeah, we even spent more money there, but still didn't matter. Never shopping there again! read more

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but my experience with Living Spaces was so frustrating--and frankly insidious--that I feel compelled to warn others. Delivery timelines are blatantly misrepresented (see screenshots attached). They hide behind a clause in their terms and conditions stating timelines are "estimates" and claim they'll email updates for delays. I've seen no such emails, despite my custom couch order from October still being undelivered as December approaches. Living Spaces has a logistics problem--and they know it. They continue taking orders and making promises they can't fulfill. In today's age of Amazon Prime and Wayfair, this is unacceptable. Customer support is powerless to help. While they seem polite enough, their hands are clearly tied by a company that's more interested in taking your money than ensuring a good customer experience. The bait-and-switch is real. The online sales experience was fantastic--agents sent me videos of fabrics and made me feel confident in my purchase. But the moment I paid, the follow-through vanished entirely. Here's the kicker - I'm 40 weeks pregnant, Thanksgiving is next week, and I explained to them that there's a sense of urgency to get the couch soon. No sympathy or escalation whatsoever. We were looking for furniture and this place really turned out to be one stop shopping for living room and kitchen furniture. Christine was very helpful who knew exactly what we were looking for and based on our requirements they helped to show the furniture and we were able to place an order on the same day with delivery in two weeks. The delivery was really smooth as we were told they will assemble and will place the furniture where we want them to place it. To my surprise they came with assembled furniture well wrapped in a quilt, and hence they easily delivered and placed the furniture in the appropriate places. I was super happy and impressed with their services. The delivery team Dominguez: Danilo and Andres did an amazing job. A big shot out to them. The price was reasonable too. read more

Went to living spaces in Fremont because y husband said it's their main warehouse and they'd have more kitchen tables, which we were in the market for. We had been to the one in Oakridge mall in San Jose, Ca before when we bought our bed which great! The staff at the "OAKRIDGE MALL" facility as awesome, helpful, and went way above and beyond for our needs! The one in Fremont, the person we dealt with was nice, she took us to a section they have which is the clearance section. I knew the table I wanted to purchase because I had found it in Oakridge Mall location, but we waited until we paid our bed off. We did, hence the Fremont visit, the table I wanted was in the clearance section, but it wasn't on clearance, but the staff member couldn't order it on her end due to it being out of stock so she just left us there hanging after I told her I could order it online. I did order my table and chairs, it's a nice table, I was warned and told that since the table is on back order, I'd get it by 6/30/25 and I'll be notified when it's here and can be delivered, ok I understood that because it was in back order. A week ago, I was sent an email that my table was in and they could deliver my table chairs, I was excited so I called them to book my delivery, we paid $140 for the full service and setup of our table when it got delivered. I schedule it and the customer service rep tells me that they get it delivered to me today between the hours 6pm - 12 midnight, I was excited to say the least and booked it. I then get a call by the delivery person telling me that they can't deliver my table after all because it was damaged and they can't deliver the product to me because it's broken, but one their technicians can repair the table and once the table has been fixed they can schedule it to be delivered when it's been repaired. I was upset because I didn't want a table that's been repaired, I paid for a brand new table and I want a new one, not a repaired one, I'm guessing he started to realize immediately that he messed up so he told me to call customer service to resolve this because it's beyond his realm of solutions. I call customer service, found out he lied to me, there's no technicians that fix damaged furniture, and he should've never said that to me, they have to re-order my table and wait for it to come in so that I can get a brand new one, and the reason being was because the moving team put in their notes that they broke the table and didn't handle it either care upon the delivery to my house!!! What?!? So now, I'm waiting from 6/30 - 7/15 for my table to come in because of this mishap! I got no discount, not well take $300-400 off the original price, gift certificate for a future purchase, nothing! I won't go back to this location, I'll stick to my Oakridge Mall location! read more

This living spaces location was great to shop at! Huge selection of furniture with trendy styles and fabric materials. What made our shopping experience top notch is a particular designer named Kelley. She started working at this location originally when it opened and then came back a few years later, and she really understands what the customer wants. Unlike another associate we dealt with prior to her, she wasn't trying to convince us to make any purchase and answered all of the pressing and specific questions we had regarding maintaining and cleaning of the couch. While another associate said that some of the features that we wanted to look into weren't available, Kelley corrected those statements and guided us to see the 3-D design of what the couch would look like in the layout of our home. She was knowledgeable, thorough, and most important, honest. She really made our experience impeccable and it was a comfortable transaction. We absolutely love our new couch and look forward to going to this location to get help from her again! read more

Avoid Living Spaces. I purchased a couch from their Fremont, CA store and clearly told the associate I lived on the 5th floor of a walk-up. I even explained the elevator was too narrow and confirmed it would need to be carried up the stairs. She assured me this would not be a problem. When the delivery team arrived, they refused to go beyond the 3rd floor -- citing a "3-flight maximum" policy that was never disclosed in-store or on my receipt. It was only buried somewhere on the website, which I was never directed to. The worst part? When I called Living Spaces customer service, the manager told me I wasn't actually misinformed -- because the policy exists online. Despite their own associate giving me false information, they refused to take accountability or offer real help. No ownership, no apology -- just deflection and hostility. I was forced to arrange and pay for my own movers to finish the job. Meanwhile, Living Spaces kept sending me in circles: customer service told me to go to the store, the store told me to call customer service. Eventually, they said the only way to escalate was to send a letter to a PO Box. I've filed formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the California Department of Consumer Affairs and encourage others to think twice before shopping here. read more

went to store. ordered a sectional. 3 pieces got here in a week. missing one piece. system sai its coming. day or 2 before it was supposed to get here, it said its cancelled and out of stock. Called u to find out and they said they would get it here. After a week they said the part that was supposed to get here never existed and neither did the shipment and we could get return. We go to the store to look at other couches. They tell us that the missing piece is going to be delivered. 2 days later we get an email saying its cancelled. Called up to get a return but they say they have to get a manager to get an rma and they account is locked. THey say it will take 24 hrs. I will never buy anything from them again. Sales staff did not provide any information about the new warehouse self-pickup policy change preventing warehouse staff from assisting in loading of merchandise. ADDITIONALLY, and more importantly, the only warehouse door availabe for pickup (door #1) was a ramp. All of the other doors were standard freight doors where I could have single-handedly and easily lowered (gravity is my friend) my purchase onto my truck. However, even after checking with a manager, the warehouse staff refused me access to any of the more than dozen available freight doors, making me lift my purchase onto my truck (after calling my brother-in-law for help). It was a lack-of-customer service double whammy: not being advised at the store about this new policy, and the warehouse staff refusing to accomodate a simple request to make loadiing a purchase so much easier by the customer. read more

Moreover I ordered couple of rugs and the delivery date was not explained . I wanted to cancel the order of rugs when I called in i was told that you can't cancel the order instead when it's delivered you can just refuse the delivery . I've had good experiences with Living Spaces before- but not with the current transaction. I purchased an (expensive) mattress and bed- solely on the promise that they would ship it to my out of the way vacation home up in Cedarville, CA (way up NE California). I went into the showroom in person and talked to a very nice saleslady. I confirmed multiple times that a earliest "ship by" date would be August 27. This then turned into "our 3rd party shipper will contact you to arrange delivery that week". Okay- this means I might have to spend the whole week up there waiting for the shipment. Late in the week previous, I got a text from some party I've never heard from saying "you're only delivery option is this upcoming Saturday, 7am to 5pm". So, I dropped what I was doing and went up days early. No delivery, no calls, no text, no answer to the phone number. Staying up there, August 27 comes and goes. No contact. I eventually contact the saleslady who now claims "The 3rd party shipper has all of the week from August 27 to September 4th to *contact you*". Not deliver the goods. That's out and out barefaced lie #1. Not what was told to me. Eventually, I left and went back to the Bay Area. On the evening of the 4th I get an email from Living Spaces saying that my order is now in the hands of the 3rd party shipper, *who will be contacting me for delivery at some point "*. Never. Ever. Again. Lying b*stards. I still don't have my 3K$ of bed and mattress. All these cheesy jerks needed to do was tell the truth up front: "We don't know quite when this can be delivered"- I could even accept that. But not make me waste a week of vacation time waiting for an event to occur that they knew up front would not occur. I *dare* yelp to let this be published as is. read more

We purchased a Mattress at Living Spaces and were told that they would price match within 45 days of purchase if the mattress went on sale. Purchase was on 7/21/24 we returned on 8/21/24 and the mattress was on sale and were told by Iris the manager that they would not honor because it is a 30 match price and there are 31one days in July. We spent nearly $6000 at this store. This is horrible Customer Service and I would tell other Customers to beware of their prices and check around first. Very Unhappy Customer. read more

I bought a set of sofas 5 years ago from this location, the salesperson made me purchase a win-win insurance to cover anything that happen to your sofa and if I don't use the insurance within 5 years they will return our money back. So after 5 years I received an email that your $276 is available to shop from living space, I went there first of all it's a spam, I paid $276 when you want to use it to purchase from there you have to spend double of that amount, so I spend an extra $300 to use the $276 credit that I paid 5 years ago, I asked them can I return it if I didn't like it in my room the sales person said yes you can, the carpet was too small for our room I want to return the smaller one, and bought a bigger size, now they have returned only half of the money that I paid, the cashier his name is Hamad was acting as if he was the owner of the place, he wasn't helpful at all, when I asked why I'm not getting full price back, he says it's a coupon not insurance, I'm not happy with his service at all, they should train him to explain it well to customers and make them leave the place happily, don't act this is how it should be, basically, he was acting to us that take it or leave it. read more

The worst most horrible experience. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE. We ordered a loft bed and paid for expedited shipping and weekend delivery. Then we were told it was damaged on the way to be delivered. We were contacted by the third part delivery service, NOT by Living Spaces. We called Living Spaces and they said they'd get back to us about rescheduling the delivery. We rescheduled the delivery for a weekday and my husband took the day off. NO ONE showed up and NO ONE contacted us. I called and was told it was again damaged and that I would be contacted for a reschedule again. NO ONE contacted us. I called again and was told it was already in transit according to their records, but they could not give me a delivery date. Does that even make sense? Because it was "in transit" I was not allowed to cancel my order and ask for a refund of the amount and the expedited delivery fee UNLESS I went back to the store in which I purchased it and even then there is no guarantee I will not be charged for a return shipping fee. Now I'm supposed to wait another 24-48 hours to be contacted about cancelling the order. I told them I refuse to accept delivery and they said that I may be charged. I would give no stars if possible. read more
