We had a delivery scheduled today for a living room sectional and coffee table that we ordered at the same time/day over a month ago. You delivered the coffee table but not the sectional and have the nerve to tell us it's our fault for not requesting the delivery of the sectional!? We paid for all items to be delivered and set up!? So I went to the store to see what happened to the rest of our order and even they said the delivery team screwed up. They promised it would be here today around 6:30pm and it's 7:54pm and we still have not received it. I see why you have 2.5 stars and horrible reviews! Horrendous customer service. I will never purchase anything from Living Spaces ever again. We ordered a rocking chair for our newborn a month before she was born. First delivery date was 30 days later... then moved to 60 days later... we are now 90 days after the order and we still do not have the chair. We have missed the entire window for even really needing this chair. Customer service just dodges my calls and keeps me only talking to the lowest level support staff who can't do anything. The management won't return the calls when they promise to do so. I am very frustrated with this company for delaying a (expensive) purchase delivery this long and holding absolutely zero accountability for actually delivering on it in a remotely reasonable timeframe. read more

Where to begin?! My wife and I currently relocated from CA and were shopping to get the essentials for our new dwelling place. Obviously, everyone new home needs a couch. As the day progressed and finding nothing in stock that we liked or that fit in our price range, my wife and I decided to give this Living Space location a try. As we walked, we were already overwhelmed with the variety that was available. However, I'll be completely honest, majority of the sofa prices were way above our price range. Thankfully, my wife and I happened to find a wonderful sofa that was marked as an outlet item, and one of their friendly associates, Xavier, came to assist us. Sadly, the couch my wife and I were sitting wasn't available, but Xavier was able to find us one with a much more appealing color (wife picked it). Xavier took his time to explain the deals, process, and other tidbits we could include, and even mentioned we could have this sofa delivered tonight. Throughout the whole process, he didn't pressure us at all, but empowered us with the many options we had available. Took care of us 100% of the way. As soon as we walked in the store tonight they told us that they didn't work off commission so they don't harass you as you're shopping. What he (Jeff) really meant was if you need help then no one will actually help you. We drove an hour out of our way and we're about to spend a little over $4,000 just to be told it was to late to take an "sold as is" item off the floor room. Almost a year ago, we bought a white leather recliner sofa and a bedroom bed, plus a dining set with chairs. When they were delivered, the sofa came in the wrong color, it was "cream colored", instead of white leather. Plus the bedframe the guys delivered, had been banged up and discolored on the foot board in the delivery process. I pointed out these discrepancies and problems. The guys took photos of the problems, ostensibly to report to management for replacement. Now the sofa recliner does not work to recline at all. It has been nearly a year, with several times we reached out to see what was to be done about correcting the problems with both pieces. We have heard nothing since. We needed a new sofa and decided to visit Living Spaces. Since COVID, the store does have an attendant who checks your temperature prior to entering and mask are required. There was plenty of employees who offered assistance while we shopped around. We did find the sofa we wanted, however to get in the color we wanted we had to custom order and wait 4-6 weeks. The in store customer service was excellent, however it quickly went down hill thus the reason for the low rating. An employee accidentally entered in the wrong zip code and my sofas were sent to San Antonio. Living Spaces did not even notify my of this error, I was contacted by the delivery driver who stated they could not deliver to Grand Prairie. I then called Living Spaces and spoke with a manager who stayed they would request for the sofas to be returned to the warehouse. 12 days later, my sofas are missing and my option is 1. Refund or 2. Reorder and wait another 4-6weeks. Of course I asked for the refund. It took all my life source not to be irate with each representative I spoke with but the lack of empathy or understanding for my situation was quite disappointing. Each representative offered little or no assistance during the numerous times I out reached to locate the status of the my order. Absolutely terrible when it comes to customer service. I purchased a couch on August 6, 2020 and was told I would receive a call to schedule the delivery in 2-4 weeks. Acceptable. 4 Weeks later, after calling to get an update, I was told I should hear something by the end of the week. 1 week after that, I call again to get an update and was told that it was backordered and that it would take an additional 3-4 weeks. I was frustrated but I understand that we're in COVID times so things are moving slowly. 4 weeks later, I call to get another update, and was told it should be delivered to the warehouse within the week. 1 week later, I call to get ANOTHER update, and was told it was delivered to the warehouse on October 2 and that it just had not been scanned in yet and that they have a grace period of 7-10 Business Days to scan everything in. The agent tells me with certainty that I will hear from them by end of day Friday, October 16th. Unsurprisingly at this point on Friday, I haven't heard anything. Today is Tuesday October 20th, almost 11 WEEKS from the initial purchase. I call to get an update and was told that it was still being shipped to the warehouse and that I was now looking at early November for the arrival date. The Customer Service agents either lie or have no idea what is actually going on. They said that all items had been backordered because of COVID and that they knew that when I purchased the couch. I really wish we would've read these review prior to making any purchases with living spaces.. We made a purchase in August and was informed that the items will not be delivered until October. (We we're fine with it.. I was willing to wait since I loved the item so much) fast forward to delivery day.. We waited at home throughout the entire time slot.. I kept updating the delivery tracker and noticed that our order had stated "finished." I then immediately called a representative to inform them that we never received our purchase. Apparently.. our items was damaged at the warehouse and was not suited to be delivered to us. BEWARE of their unreasonable 7 day policy. I have purchased 3 rugs over a period of time since September. The buying part was good. However, I will not purchase another rug as their 7 day policy to return is totally unreasonable. The first large area rug worked out as acceptable. The other two are runners purchased at a later date and I was told it takes time for them to relax, acclimate, etc. This "relaxing" has extended beyond 7 days. After two weeks, I am still working with the runners to lay flat, relax, etc. I called Living Spaces yesterday to see if they would offer tips to help the rugs relax, not wrinkle, or exchange if possible, and I was told immediately that their policy was 7 days period. I placed an order on July 26th for a living room set. 3 of the 4 pieces were delivered today, September 12th; however, one of the main parts of the couch is missing. The invoice said the latest delivery date would be September 9th. I've called customer service twice and they have no idea where the piece is or when it will be delivered. Last week they said they would call me back, but I've yet to hear from them. The communication is poor and the delivery dates are not accurate. Apparently, they are very poorly managed. This store is HUGE and has a fantastic selection of furniture in all sorts of styles! Erica was the one who assisted us! She was so incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful! She was able to assist with finding me the dream couch but also a gorgeous coffee, side table, lamp AND a rug! She rug me up and out I went without much worry. Also they were able to deliver the next day! The delivery guys were amazing and so quick to unwrap everything. I've unfortunately made the mistake of vising The Dump in Irving for a bedroom furniture set and having the WORST time ((nightmare of a delivery situation))...I should have come back to Living Spaces. read more

First off, I ordered during Covid. I knew everywhere had long lead times and people were not getting furniture less than 4 months. I went to the Frisco store , they had great customer service. I ordered a custom couch. I was quoted 7-9 weeks. The couch came at 11 weeks. I did call and customer service did give me a bit of compensation due to the inconvenience. The delivery app was great and the two men whom delivered were great! They were friendly and very careful of my walls and furniture. Room for improvement, I believe they should have a way to track your order all the way through the process. I could not get an update at any point prior to deliver schedule. They should give you point by point updates. Such a order received, ordered in warehouse being made, ordering being wrapped for transit to local warehouse, ect....... But they do not. read more

Most of the time, when buying things online, we take into consideration the length of time for delivery. LivingSpaces.com has a number of competitors whose delivery windows take longer, which is likely the reason you may purchase with them instead. Don't be fooled, though. They promise quick deliveries, but actually take just as long, if not longer, than their competition. An order placed in mid-July had a delivery window of early August. Upon calling LivingSpaces (877-266-7300) in mid-August, I was informed they moved the delivery window two weeks later. They couldn't provide a reason for doing so, despite apologizing, and recommended I speak with their delivery partner, XPO Logistics (800-600-8861). Frankly, this should've been handled by them but I agreed to call them. XPO's response was that they don't have any record of my order, even after providing the phone number, shipping address, order number, and complete name, exactly as written in my order with LivingSpaces.com. They recommended I call their "Less than Truckload" number (800-755-2728). I did, and was transferred to another number (800-883-4797), upon entering my delivery zip code. The woman at that number said she didn't have my order number and recommended I call their courier service (212-855-7777), giving me another number. I called that number, it rang, and then went silent for about two minutes. On a whim, I stayed on the line, and Jasmine eventually connected. She asked for the order number and my phone number. I gave them to her and she said she had no record of my order and asked for a tracking number. I never received a tracking number, just an order confirmation number, and was told I would get a tracking number once the order shipped. I told Jasmine to hold while I called LivingSpaces.com again and patched her on the line. LivingSpaces verified my information and I introduced them to XPO. LivingSpaces then told me the order hadn't been handed to XPO yet, but couldn't tell me why. I politely let Jasmine disconnect and requested LivingSpaces escalate my ticket to find out why the order hadn't been handed to the delivery partner, why the delivery dates changed 16 days past when they were supposed to be scheduled, where my order was, and when I would receive it. LivingSpaces then informed me I would get a call within 48 hours with someone that might be able to answer these questions. I STILL have no resolution on this order, however I AM resolved never to order things from them in the future with this kind of confusion, disorganization, and disregard for customer care. read more

We went to the Living Spaces in Fort Worth, Texas. After so many times watching their commercials, we finally decided to go to the store. We were greeted by Madeline who was amazing and understanding with us. After two months of searching for a good sofa, we decided to purchase the Zero Gravity Grey 159" 6 Piece Sectional With Power Headrest & Lumbar in the color brown. Beautiful color, the delivery was made on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Today's date is Friday, March 18th. Out of all the pieces, the wedge coming out of the truck, when the delivery rep opened the box it already had a corner that was broken and the top of the wedge had a Scarf/Residue on both back seats on the top. On the right power seat, the USB was not working. The delivery team was amazing and they recorded everything. Today Friday, March 18th, 2022 at 2 PM we received both replacements. The wedge was in good condition. However, the right power seat the USB was working fine, but this time the recliner mechanism going up and down making a LOUD noise. So when you sit down, the recliner mechanism was making a huge noise, and on top of the back seat, it has a Scarf/Residue, the same as the first wedge did. This is not the delivery guy's fault, these items are all in boxes and from what I can see there is no quality insurance check before these items leave the warehouse. If there was a quality insurance check before living the warehouse none of this would happen. I have been buying furniture for a long time and this is the first time that I have received items damaged and not working from a furniture store. My 3rd replacement will be delivered on Monday, March 21 and I hope it does not come damaged. Living Spaces, please do a quality check on your furniture before they are delivered to the customer. I was cool the first time but the second time this is not good. I never purchased the extended warranty because I never had to in the past. I called customer service because now I am losing confidence that if anything happens after a year I want to be protected. I was told that I could not purchase the extended warranty because the furniture was already in the house and that the only warranty I could purchase was the replacement ones that I received. I asked the store to please have the delivery. People to use tools other than a power drill, So my boats and nuts will not be stripped. I constantly reached out to get progress updates when it was nearing the end of my timeline for my order to be completed only to find out it was going to be double the time. A Customer should not be left in the dark on purchases and suppliers should have the ability to provide information on customer's orders. My roommate and I visited several other stores before Living Spaces and their offerings and customer service didn't compare. I like how each couch had print offs of all available options, which you could take. Many other stores had a single pricing sheet under a plastic stand, which you had to take a picture of. I also appreciate that your store required mask usage to keep customers safe. The delivery drivers were extremely professional and wore masks, as well. Dear whoever can help us, This is a quick summary of how we never got what we ordered. May 6th - We purchased an "EASTERN" king-sized bed from you guys. Set to be delivered with 7-10 business days. May 18th - A "CALIFORNIA" king-sized bed was delivered to the house instead. For those who don't know, they are completely different sized bed. Nothing we have fit inside the panels. We called to switch out the bed. We were told it would take another 7-10 business days. May 28th - A delivery guy actually showed up to our doorstep WITH NO BED. So, we called again. We were told it would take ANOTHER 7-10 business days. June 10th - Believe it or not. ANOTHER delivery guy showed up...WITH NO BED. So, we called again. We were told it would take ANOTHER 7-10 business days. June 18th - We are not making this up...we called again... we were told it would take ANOTHER 7-10 business days. June 20th - We actually called to see if they could cancel the order and start a new one. We were told it would take longer...again...we were told it would take another 7-10 business days. June 30th - Today. Still no bed. It's been almost 2 months. We have called countless times. We have receipts, order number, and call logs for everything that has happened. It still seems like no one wants to take responsibility to make sure this bed gets delivered. All we want is our bed, not a refund, not gift cards... just our bed that we paid for. read more

We purchased 3 large pieces and were able to set up delivery for the next day (they actually offered same day, but it would arrive too late for our preference.) The next day we got a call that there was an issue with our delivery. It would be late. The same time frame that we had rejected the day before. I explained that I have a small child and did not want furniture delivered after her bedtime. They told me they would do their best to deliver within my original time frame, and they did!!! My daughter ordered a bedroom set from this location and set up a delivery date and time to coincide with her move into a new home. She paid for delivery and full bed set up. The bed arrived without two of its legs and no wooden slats to hold the mattress. The workers were unable to complete installation and just left with the room in disarray, promising to return later that day with the necessary parts to complete the job. That did not happen. She called customer service the next day and was treated very rudely on the phone. As of now, the issue remains unresolved, and no one at Living Spaces seems to care. I actually love going to this place. I was there with my daughter and a guy approached us, besides others who had too, but he was a tad different. So personable and really got into the couch shopping with us. We thought he just one of the salesman, and we were quite pleased with him to discover he was actually the GM or the stores manager. Wish I could remember his name. But I know he was an older guy I believe with blonde hair. He definitely made a lasting impression on us. So nice and easy to talk to. We had the sales rep call him back over so we could personally let him know. Thank you again! I will say he left us in good hands, and honestly every time we've went there the people are nice, professional and offered assistance. Of course, some reps stand out more than others. I must say both Selena / Celinas that I met in that same day were awesome as well!! read more

Living Spaces does not honor warranties. I do not recommend purchasing an expensive mattress/bed base from them. I called regarding an issue with my mattress. I have been hung up on, given the wrong phone number, and just generally been given the run-around. That is definitely the last money I will spend with them. Lesson learned. read more

great furniture, horrible in store service, worst delivery experience ever. In store, because no ones making money on commission, they truly do not give a shit if you have a good experience. We were ready to throw down $4k in money and the sales people would just wander off literally on the way to go see the furniture we wanted. Worst. No one has any idea what they're doing and they're lazy AF. The shining star on that team was on of the floor designers who was w/ us from beginning to end. If she hadn't met us on the floor and saw us looking for someone to help us we would walked. We were warned so many times that its a shit show in side and we didn't listen. Then they missed 2 scheduled appointments, and when the truck arrived on third appt, 3 guys rolled out reeking of cigarettes and took 1.5 hrs to assemble one single bed. None of them knew what they were doing, the guy with the longest history of moving and assembling furniture has been w/ the company for a whopping 2 weeks. Lots of standing around and mumbling. Its a clown show. You're better of ordering off ikea and assembling it yourself. Horrible. This is the last time we'll be ordering from here ever again. Ugh, my blood's boiling just writing this. Recently moved here from California and needed a sectional and bed frame/headboard ASAP. Tried going to Nebraska Furniture and every single sofa I was remotely interested in was had a lead time of 12 weeks minimum. Checked Living Spaces website on Sunday night and found a sectional and headboard that looked promising that were in stock. Drove the next day, Monday to Grand Prairie and walked into the store after 12pm. Found the exact two pieces of furniture I was looking for in less than 10 mins on my own. The saleswoman who helped me stated both pieces were in stock, like the website said. She said she could get the furniture delivered to me that same day between 6p-midnight. I was very surprised and skeptical, I almost said are you sure you don't need one more day?! Once I was paid up, she explained how I could track the delivery online. Later that evening, (still very skeptical because of the negative reviews) I went online and tracked the delivery...it showed I was stop #3 and it showed when the truck was at stop #1 and #2. About 30 mins before the delivery, the driver called me to say he was on his way. They arrived right on time, worked very efficiently, even helped me disassemble my old bed set up, and got my very heavy Sterns and Foster king mattress and foundation onto the new bed set. I can't speak to how smooth it is to order custom furniture, but I had a great experience buying in stock furniture pieces and would do so in the future. read more

First time in a living spaces . It's freaking huge!!! We worked with AJ. This guy is amazing at his job . We have NEVER experienced the level of service that we received from him anywhere else . So cool to be able to work with an interior designer in the store. He took the time to actually put a whole room together for us!!! Definitely recommend shopping here. read more

Went in to look around. They have a good variety of furniture in different styles and colors. I went to the mattress department where I was assisted by Nathan. He was able to answer all my questions. He offered my daughter and I beverages and cookies. He even walked from the back of the store to the front of the store to provide those items.
