We were in the market for new furniture for our home, specifically a bedroom set since we were ready to upgrade to a California King. We ended up buying a new bedroom set and a Tempur-Pedic mattress that night. We were immediately drawn to the Pierce set because of all the storage drawers. However, Jasmine didn't mention that we needed a different pair of nightstands that goes the bed set's built-in storage. I only found out by reading the online reviews myself a day later. This meant we had to make a second trip, adjust the delivery dates, and purchase the correct nightstands. It would have been nice to avoid the extra trip if we'd known upfront. That said, the mattress section staff were very patient. We spent over an hour testing different mattresses before my husband made his final choice. With the mattress purchase, furniture delivery was free, and there was a promotion offering a gift card for a future purchase, which we used to buy a mattress cover. I was looking for a new couch and made two visits to Living Spaces in Redondo Beach. I had one picked out but needed to make sure all the measurements would work. Once home, I had one more question so I called the store to speak to the rep I was working with. I reached a call center who informed me there is no way to directly reach the store. I wasn't about to drive 25 minutes back to the store so the following day I went elsewhere and purchased what I needed. While I was at Living Spaces, there were employees standing around waiting for customers to arrive to give them something to do. Thank you to Rafael our experience at Living Spaces turned out really well. My husband and I were walking around already knowing what we wanted but still wanted to look and see for other better options just in case. We happen to run into Rafael who immediately helped us without being pushy and was super friendly. He ran different options in different scenarios for us and offered opinions on certain things. I wanted to see how certain furnitures would look on my current house and he immediately got help for me. Everything was super smooth and seamless until the end we ran into some small issue. After searching the storeroom and finding furniture which appeared great, we purchased several items online for full service delivery. We had to wait a couple months for it to arrive. The furniture arrived in shocking condition. It appeared as if this was a showroom display item or from someone's garage. We ordered new furniture at regular prices. The furniture delivered is clearly used. It's also very poor workmanship, which did not appear so in the showroom. We refused the order and have been trying to track down a full refund ever since. They first refunded only the furniture amount and not delivery fee, and in form of a store credit until I called two more times to get the full refund including delivery. I'm very disappointed in living spaces after going through the search process, the ordering, the waiting, the poor product received, and then multiple phone calls needed to get the refund. Just purchased a new couch online from Living Spaces, but visited this store prior to purchasing. I like to touch and feel first. The employees here have always been friendly and helpful. Staff greet you throughout the store, even though they don't work off of commissions. They sell both furniture and decor for the home, so there's quite a bit to look at. Not too crowded with shoppers, but a varied selection of merchandise to choose from. It's an enjoyable shopping experience. Love my new couch. Good looking, great value, under $500. Note, if it's a discontinued sale item, they don't deliver. They sell you the floor model. Parking: Plenty of free, shared parking. read more

The absolute worst furniture and service! Everything was damaged. The "white glove" delivery was filthy, ruined my floors, damaged my walls and for the last 2 months they've been giving me the runaround and not reimbursing me for $600 with damages to my home. I've sent over 20 emails, been to the store at least 6 times, called at least 14 times to no avail. Never have I seen worst service. Take your business anywhere else but this dump. Be sure to double check your order that is submitted correctly. We didn't get parts of our couch and had to initiate a return, which we would have wanted to do anyway since the couch was way too big for our living room. You have to pay for shipping and restocking fees. The delivery people told us to keep it in living room until we get it swapped but that was more expensive. We should have told them to take it so we don't pay the extra fees. Please note that even though it may look good in the store, it will likely look completely different in your living room since it is smaller. The open space of the store is misleading, which is not their fault obviously. Service was great - they were very patient with our indecisiveness. We purchased a couch and paid the extra fee for full service delivery beyond their offer of free 24 hr delivery. As promised, we were scheduled for 24 hr delivery. Even more impressive an email was sent informing me that I was 7th in line with an estimated delivery. That delivery time continued to slip through the day as the delivery count hardly moved! By the end of the day the tracking showed that in an entire day they delivered only 3 of 7 deliveries. Lol I received a call to inform me that they did not make the delivery. I heard that it would be delivered the next day. Which is logical! But apparently what they intended to inform me, was that not only they failed to deliver to their next day full service, but also I would be removed from delivery obligation until I reschedule. So essentially they put me to the back of the line! I called their delivery service and followed up. There was a weak pathetic attempt to apologize but no sense of responsibility towards delivery. Just a sorry you are at the back of the line and you can cancel your order if you don't like it. So I canceled and will not do business with these people. Part I - Somehow part 2 of my review posted but part 1 didn't so here it is... I went to the Living Spaces website in search of un-upholstered dining chairs. I thought I'd found a good option so I went into the store to see the chairs in person. The pic is a side-by-side of the chairs, left as it appeared on the website and in-store and on the right, the chair that was delivered. Right after the delivery I phone customer service to discuss the chairs. I wanted to be sure I hadn't inadvertently ordered the wrong color/finish. I confirmed the chair only came in one finish... the one I'd ordered. The Rep logged my complaint and said that someone from the store would reach out to me within a day or two. I actually received a call that same evening. The rep asked me to email (to the main store email that all managers can access) him photos of the chairs I'd received so he could compare them to the ones in the store. I did that immediately but he called a short time later saying he hadn't received them because he and his manager were relatively new to the store and their access to that email account hadn't been setup yet so I sent the photos again to his direct store email address. The following day, I received a phone call from someone else at the store. She said a determination couldn't be made based on the photos and asked me to bring one of the chairs into the store for comparison. I left work that evening, loaded a chair into my SUV and drove 30 minutes to the store. I carried the chair into (with no offer of assistance from anyone) and walked it to the dining section to compare. As I stood there looking at the display chair and the chair I'd received, a staff member walked up and said, unsolicited, "They're different colors. No doubt about it." I asked him if it would be possible to take the chairs on display since they were what I was expecting and they could keep the one's I'd received and put them back on display... a win-win, right? NOT. He asked but a manager said a swap wouldn't be possible because display items aren't sold until the product is discontinued. The manager later seemed amenable to consider the swap so I took a good look at the display chairs but they had quite a few dents and dings so that option was off the table again. Was a customer and spent thousands of dollars on their furniture. The salesman said if you get insurance and NOT use it within 5 years, we will reimburse you. 5 years passed, I get my credit back, but now I have to spend double of my credit amount in order to receive it. So if I have 400$ in credit, I have to spend 800$ to use it or they won't let me. Maybe you should teach your staff to tell the customer this piece of information BEFORE getting insurance. Back in 2018 I purchased a lot of furniture from here because I just bought a condo. I also purchased their warranty. The associates stated if you do not use the warranty in five years, they will give you store credit to use at the store at ANY TIME. In 2023 I went back to the store did not find what I was looking for, and different associates said the same thing. Dont worry come back when you find something you want. There is no expiration date. Now in Jan 1st 2026 at time of this writing, we went to try and purchase something. And the manager Loriena stated that it expired 60 days after the warranty ended. No one told me this until now. They have very shady business practices. You should not buy from them. They are there to rip people off. Also by the way out of the 7 pieces of furniture we bought 3 of them we had to throw away because it was not built properly. I am so over them, and will never do business with them again. I'm just sad because I lost thousands. Please don't make the same mistake I did. read more

It is so hard to get a claim through. 99.999% they will deny the claim and you will be stuck with a rip in your couch. Ive had the couch about 3 years now and it is pilling, ripping and falling apart. Also it has this wool-like fabric (i thought it was more sturdy fabric) that makes me itch like crazy. My complaint is on a mattress I purchased from them ,it was delivered and was told to wait 24 hours for the mattress to rise at its full 12 inches I here it a week and nothing. I shouldve checked the reviews before I bought from here. Unless your buying, customer service is awful. They actively advertise how easy it is to clean cushions, but then when the covers that are removable stain in the wash, they point you to fine print on the website saying you actually cant clean things that way...there's no option to buy replacement cushion covers even though they have tons of the fabric in stock, not even an option to buy just a piece of fabric to do it yourself despite the fact they hang large sample sheets everywhere...terrible, never buy a couch here. read more

And don't give the benefit of the doubt like I did. long story short, we ordered a special order for a set of couches but they mistakenly ordered the mismatching color (they produced the paper trails showing that someone mislabelled). At that point, I just wanted to return and refund the whole couch but they wouldn't do it because it was a "special order". They re-ordered for the matching couch. Three weeks later, the new couch is here and BOOM one of the pillows is in the wrong fabric again. LMAO bro they are just messing with me at this point. OH and the Utopia couch makes spring bouncing noise when you sit on it. which you can't hear in-store because they have background music. It was time to replace the couch/loveseat I had in my living room. After all, they are about 20yrs old... ... but don't get me wrong. They are still in pristine condition. Nonetheless, it was time to replace them. I wasn't in a hurry so I took some time to do my research and figure out which design and style I really wanted. With the internet on the tip of everyone's fingers nowadays, it got a little overwhelming: the choices are infinite! I narrowed it down to a few choices - my #1 even took me all the way to Vegas. Sadly, it was a disappointing trek. Who knew I was going to end up here - a mere few miles away from home. It was almost overwhelming as I walked in: man, this place is huge! And I felt they were so many options and choices, I could have stayed here all day! I had my eye on a sectional with recliners and USB ports, but was disappointed it wasn't how I pictured it. I thought this stop - like the Vegas one - was going to be another disappointment. Meh, I ended up walking around just to browse and ended up finding exactly what I was not looking for. No recliners, no USB, no fancy schmansy features... just a plain ole' sectional. Took it for a test run and it was comfy and and had perfect measurement for the room I was buying it for. I really liked it! But I wanted to take a day to think about it. Who am I kidding, I bought it less than 24 hours later. And the better bonus? It was delivered less than 48 hours later - within the time frame they promised. And delivery peeps were incredibly nice and respectful of our space. They really were cautious and made sure they were aware of their surroundings. They brought the sectional in and assembled it all less than 15 minutes. This place is a scam -- completely unwilling to provide fair or decent customer service. I was charged a 25% cancellation fee the very next day after purchase simply because the couch wouldn't fit in my home. The couch wasn't even made yet, and they also refused to let me change the modular configuration without paying additional fees. Came over memorial day weekend to see if there would be any sales but there wasn't. We were in need of a new couch and I decided to look around here. The show room is very big and has a lot of options. We wanted a cheap and affordable couch since we have a cat and wasn't sure how she would react to new furniture. Found something that day and it was delivered the next day. I opted for free delivery and it went surprisingly well, but my dad and 2 uncles were over to help me. The couch did have a weird smell and film on it probably from manufacturing, so we bought couch covers to mask it. I had to end the call and she said it was a pleasure to speak with me... Good customer service right there girl. Weird to have said that as we both know how ingenuine you sound lol I pleaded to get someone who can make it right for customers and she said that... that was her and boastfully said no, I will not be doing anything to get you another bed. I spent $800 and it went to waste. Living Spaces has a terrible policy for a lot of their beds especially if you want to find a "decent" priced $800 dollar bed. You should try Sit N Sleep or Mattress Firm or even BOB"S with better policies for a typical person shopping for something as simple and essential as a mattress. We purchased a sectional couch and had it only three months. The couches are starting to sag and cushions notably depressed on the corners. This is causing an indentation in a few areas of the couch. We contacted the extended warranty company. WARNING: The extended warranty company came out to evaluate the cushions after being sent photos of the problem. They DENIED the claim and are refusing to replace the cushions. I've read other reviews that they also deny stains. The extended warranty is a rip off. After only 3 months, no couch should sag. DO NOT waste your money on the extended warranty. We will no longer purchase furniture from Living Spaces. We've lost faith in your word in salesperson's deceptive promises when selling extended warranty and they obviously have no clue that the furniture is not built to last. Not even 3 months. read more

We went in for a sofa and ended up with a bedroom set and bookcase too. We paid twice as much for our previous sofa (not purchased at Living Spaces, but an "upscale" well-known brand); it broke within 2 years.
