I am very happy that I stopped in at Furnished. I was looking for furniture for quite awhile and soon became frustrated. Most of the furniture I looked at was of poor quantity and the furniture that I liked was out of my price range. When I walked into Furnished, I was greeted by Jeremy. I told him what I was looking for and he went right to the catalogs and gave me some options and worked within my budget. I picked out what I wanted and it was delivered the next day. I was shocked since I have had to wait for weeks with other furniture pieces from big box retailers. The delivery people were on time and worked really hard setting up the furniture. I can't give enough stars to Furnished and Scarlett. She is amazing, she spent hours helping me find the perfect bed, chair and couch. The prices were way more reasonable than anywhere else and the service was incomparable. There is no question where to buy furniture in the LA area. I would not go anywhere else. Here are some examples..... -paid for a parking ticket I got while shopping. I lost track of time shopping with her and she took it off my bill. -spent hours directing me in the overwhelming search for bed, couch, chair. I am obsessed with this place! They have great quality, great customer service, its a local family-owned business. What more could you want? I walked in one day just looking around and a friendly older gentleman greeted me and let me know it was their 50th anniversary of the store. No thinking much of it I continued to look around. A few minutes later a younger man came in and greeted the elderly man as grandpa and it hit me! This man started this business 50 years ago and now his grandson is working in the family business! HOW CUTE! I knew then that I wanted to support them vs buying some junk at Ikea that I knew would fall apart in a few years anyway. Anyways we went through their floor models and they did't really have the size cabinet I was looking for. I described my need and they helped me find the most perfect thing in one of their catalogs. I placed the order and they delivered it to my apartment. They brought it all the way inside and it was quite heavy so I am glad they did. I am so happy with it and now it holds all of my crafts! Please support localy owned bussinesses like this vs going to big box stores. They have great quaity and selection and I haven't found anyone that beast their prices on couches. read more

Furnished deserves all its 5-star reviews. One of the best furniture places in the South Bay, HANDS DOWN! The store has a wide selection of furniture that would appeal to singles to families. Reasonable prices, I was able to buy a beautiful headboard and night stands for under $500. You can get a huge sectional for around $700. The designs are stylish, and the prices are affordable. The parking can be tricky and you will need to park on a side street between 3pm to 7pm. The staff is super cool and they will deliver your furniture for a small fee. I came here to buy furniture for my Dad's office waiting room. The only issue I had was which pieces to choose because they were all so good looking!!! I picked up a love seat and two chairs and couldn't be happier. The love seat is professional looking yet comfortable. The chairs compliment the love seat and are also professional, but both items are cute enough to use in an apartment or home. Clients compliment the pieces and ask where I bought the furniture and I'm happy to tell them!!!! Who doesn't love a good compliment? This place is a real keeper. read more

I really wanted to give a good review here but this is what I experienced. I was gonna get a book shelf(discounted price$250) Pros: The girl took care of me at this store was really nice and helpful. So was the old man(original owner I guess.) Cons: *I paid $50 to get the shelf delivered and assembled. However, they rescheduled on the day of appointment because they misunderstood my location.(acceptable) *The delivery guy came on the rescheduled day later than the time promised and started complaining about me not having a parking spot nor the elevator. It's not something in my control. *He started saying it'd take too much time to ASSEMBLE the shelf by himself... It's not my fault. And he DIDN'T KNOW that!!?? The result is... even the young owner started complaining about the situation where I live, me not having a parking space, no elevator, the time that'd take to assemble the shelf. If any concern, they should have asked me in advance! I've waited at home them coming more than 2 hours and just ended up being complained by two guys!!! Not professional at all. I really wish to have that shelf since the older guy and the girl were so nice :( but they weren't able to let me have it. Sorry, but I'm too frustrated not to write down this review... read more

He walked me through what I was looking for, showed me items in the store, then provided me with catalogues to peruse other options that were not in-store, but could be easily ordered. Then he showed me the prices. After looking at places like IKEA, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Living Spaces, Wayfair, and more - I could not have asked for a more satisfactory purchase. They can and do order from most of the large furniture manufactures, all styles! We didn't see anything that we really liked but found some great items to order in the catalogs. I had been looking everywhere for a dining room table, coffee table and console. I looked for about six weeks before walking in to "Furnished" and meeting Scarlett. I instantly knew I was at the right place and my search was over. I basically described my home and what I was looking for and wanting and with in seconds she showed me pictures of what she visioned I was wanting and it was exactly right on. I ordered both the dining room table and console right away. As for the coffee table, she suggested she could have one custom made for my home from what I described I wanted and her vision was so spot on. She is amazing at helping furnish a home and knowing exactly what will look fabulous. Scarlett will always be my go-to for any furniture I will need, for any room! these guys are OUTSTANDING. i feel like i had my own personal account rep (furniture concierge) in jeremy. took requirements over the phone, performed research, came out to my place, measured, spent time going through his results and presented options and recommendations to ensure we found something that makes sense for me based on the fact that i am _harsh_ on my gear (i.e. industrial/heavy duty strength or better only) and backed it all up by actual usage and experience (e.g. no i and all my friends have that coffee table and it's not only bullet proof but here's a pic from a year or two later proving it still performs). not to mention the fact they discounted everything from list/msrp across the board. they then came on site for delivery (all based around my schedule in off hours) and assembled everything; no small feat given the fortress of an apt complex i live in. further, they identified an issue with one of the components we picked out, before i could even say anything, took them back and brought out a better suited replacement like as if it was what every company does as SOP. truly a first class business and i cannot recommend them enough. finally, they are honest in saying what they don't do well (e.g. outdoor/patio) which is probably the best evidence for their old school business practices. cannot say enough good things about this company. read more

They have great furniture here and it's not overwhelming like those giant stores. You also get friendly, helpful and no pressure advice. I had searched multiple furniture stores in the South Bay for a couch I was looking for and was not able to found a match. The couch I had my mind set on needed a specific type of fabric, had to be a certain size (width/height), provide support for my bad back and fit into my budget. I drove by this store last weekend and decided to stop in to check out the products. Jeremy (one of the Owners) was there when I arrived along with 2 other members of his staff. It was obvious from the time I stepped into the store their employees clearly cared about each clients experience. All employees were very friendly - greeted me (as well as other potential clients that came in after me) with a smile, personal introduction and walk through the store. I felt they actually enjoyed their jobs and showed interest in sitting down with me to review exactly what I was looking for. We discussed my history of back pain and the need to have a very specific type of couch followed by a handful of questions to ensure I was able to walk away with exactly what I was looking for. They were able to identify a PERFECT couch based on my needs within 15 minutes! The check-out process was quick/painless, pricing was competetive and I had the opportunity to take advantage of sameday delivery service.
