Idk how this place has only 2.5 stars but this is my experience When I walked into the store, the general manager welcomed my family and told us that none of the employees work on commission, so they are not going to force us to buy a product, which was very reassuring. The playground for my kids was excellent, allowing my wife and me to focus on selecting the right couch for our new house. The entire sales team was very helpful and friendly, assisting us in choosing the right couch and mattress for our daughter. The delivery team was in and out of our house very quickly and efficiently; they were on time and very professional. Overall, my experience was a 5out of 5 I was very happy with my purchase and the experience was amazing. I have no complaints. Everything was positive, and I'm satisfied. read more

I've been meaning to stop and browse for a couple years. I wasn't in need of anything so I hadn't made it a priority. I'm currently looking for a new couch/sectional so I thought I'd stop in. The first item in the door was beautiful. Not too low to the ground and felt very comfortable. I decided to keep browsing keeping that one in mind. They have a good selection at great prices - the value is competitive with others. I stumbled across one I liked and I'm pretty sure it's the one. Service upon entering was lacking but I wasn't bothered by that. I like browsing undisturbed but that didn't last long. The store is huge but I wasn't bothered frequently met with helpful faces. They were even passing out hydration which I thought was nice. I'm glad I dropped in. Now, I have to rethink my plans for my space and build it around this new piece! *I don't know who controls the music but it was a nice mix. read more

6/30/26 Visited for the first time this store. Quite a large store and I liked the entrance doors as I entered, different. A lady was posted as I walked in to greet customers. Selection in the store was extensive from what I could see which was great! But needed to use their restroom first which was clean and nice. As I exited the bathroom I kept expecting to be hunted down like one usually is at furniture stores, but as I found out later Living Spaces employees are not commissioned based! That in itself was fantastic! Anyways was in the market for a recliner. Orlando was very helpful and informative. As I was checking my phone and trying out one of the recliners Erica came by and started a conversation and offered a complimentary drink of my choosing and even though I declined offered to give her a shout if I needed anything. NICE Also their prices were very reasonable and actually much better than all the other furniture stores I had investigated online. He helped me with my selection, even showed me options, and was patient while I went back and forth. He stayed with me through the entire process of selecting a couch, among other things. This is a vast store. It was my first time inside. You get good value stuff, and they have many options to buy. You can also purchase the rug, lamps, pillows, etc.... if you like how they are staged in the store. Buyer Beware - Living Spaces "Care Free" Protection Plan I purchased Broadway dining chairs from Living Spaces under Order SO-012413720 along with their 5-Year Care Free Protection Plan, expecting reasonable coverage if something went wrong. Under normal residential use, eight chairs from the same purchase failed at the exact same structural point -- the caster mounting assembly at the base of the chair legs. The chairs became unstable and unusable. I filed a claim with the warranty administrator (Uniters North America) under Claim C3251449. A technician eventually inspected the chairs and confirmed repeated structural failures affecting multiple chairs. After the inspection there was no repair, no replacement, and no resolution plan. The claim was ultimately denied. The explanation given was that the damage was both "accidental breakage" and "accumulation of damages." Those explanations do not match the actual condition of the chairs. The protection plan specifically lists structural failure of components such as furniture legs as covered. Because the claim remains unresolved, I have now: * Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau * Submitted the claim to the insurer backing the protection plan * Documented the claim history (Claim C3251449) If the issue cannot be resolved through these channels, the protection plan agreement provides for arbitration through the American Arbitration Association. Living Spaces corporate customer care is welcome to contact me if they wish to review the situation and resolve it directly. Bottom line: eight identical chairs failed at the same structural point and the protection plan has not produced a resolution. I was looking for furniture and my friend recommended this place. The store itself is huge. It has all types of furniture. It is divided based on the room you were looking for. They have all different price ranges. As soon as you arrive, someone greets you. I walked throughout the store, trying the furniture out. You can definitely spend at least an hour in there. The sales reps weren't pushy. They did offer help, but as soon as I said I was just looking, they would leave me alone. Once I was ready , Huey was able to assist me. Mattress purchased on June 25, 2026 was to be delivered on June 30th, 2026. Was not delivered, went to the store to find out on June 30th it still has not been shipped and won't be till after the 9th. Went into the store and manager of sleep department told me that there was nothing they could do since the order was already processed. I asked if they had mattresses in store that were available and if they would refund the other since it had not shipped and wouldn't be till the 9th. If I could leave negative stars I would. I recently just moved to San Antonio and have been sleeping on an air mattress for the past month. I came into living spaces with the intention of getting my mattress delivered ASAP. As I walked in I went into the mattress department and the lady that helped me was Nancy. No one else was there to help me. I told her the mattress I liked and asked her if I'd get it quickly she assured me that I'd receive my mattress within 5 days which I said was fine even though I didn't want to wait long. She specifically told me my mattress would be delivered Tuesday the 9th and I purchase this the 29th of May. I should've took the 1st red flag when I already saw her on her phone laying on a bed like a customer. Once I showed her the bed I liked than she started laying on it as well which I thought was weird. Anyways she placed my order and I was thrilled because it was the mattress I loved. Tuesday rolls by and I have no confirmation, text, or call regarding my mattress delivery. I called living spaces multiple times and they said my mattress hasn't even shipped yet and that they deal with drop shipping and they couldn't help me. I recently closed on a brand-new 4-bedroom house in San Antonio after losing my previous home, in Tomball (a Houston suburbs) to a fire. As a 100% disabled Desert Storm Veteran trying to coordinate an overwhelming move, by myself, managing contractors/installs, the VA healthcare transition from Houston to San Antonio, and utility setups, I am physically, and mentally exhausted walked into the Living Spaces San Antonio location TWICE, fully prepared to spend well over $15,000 to furnish my my master bedroom, living room and office. (My 2 extra bedrooms will be furnished at a later date) Instead of professional service, I was met with unethical greed and lazy corporate gatekeeping. During my first visit, a mattress salesperson named Brittany tried to pressure me into a sale using a dishonest scare tactic about a "warehouse fire causing a foam shortage." When the bed frame I picked out had a 3-week delay, she actively encouraged me to leave a brand-new, expensive Tempur-Pedic mattress directly on the floor, while I wait several weeks for the bed frame. She wanted me to void tempur-pedic's warranty so she could secure a sale on her shift log. When I refused to void my warranty, and stayed that I wanted to find another bedframe that was available now, that wouldn't void the warranty, she told me to walk around the store and if I find one that I like to take a photo of the sku#. I came to the store for help picking out a bed frame that wouldn't void the warranty, because I'm not a tempur-pedic specialist. Instead she completely checked out and abandoned me on the floor. The next day Mattress Firm got the $6000 sale. The following day I went back to living spaces in San Antonio, asking for Shelly, their design specialist, to assist me with the remaining furniture, rugs, and decor for my bedroom, living room, and office. She was unavailable, so I met with an associate named Joshua who gracefully helped map out my exact floor plan, helped me choose my sofa, and took down my style preferences. When we went to the front desk to ask how this layout file could be digitally handed off to their solo designer, Shelly, the sales department manager (a short, unfriendly redheaded man) aggressively interrupted our conversation to curtly inform me that they would not pass any messages to her, she wasn't allowed to call me, and if I wanted design help for my anchor room, I had to completely upend my schedule to conform to her strict 8-5, Monday-Friday hours. I apologized to Joshua for wasting his time on a Friday night, and then informed the sales manager that this is not the store for me, and they just lost a large sale, to include the $6000 that I just spent at Mattress Firm because of Brittany. I believe this store completely profiles its shoppers. Because I walked in dressed casually, with no makeup or jewelry, in activewear because I'm in the middle of moving and unpacking, management clearly assumed I wasn't a qualified buyer. At no time did I mention a budget, or even look at a price tag. I gave them no reason to question if I was a qualified buyer. Living Spaces corporate red tape, dishonest sales tactics, and lazy local management actively tank major sales. If you are looking for a company that respects your time, treats you with respect, and basic consumer ethics, avoid this San Antonio location. So I am finally getting my furniture I ordered 11/3/25. I paid extra for full service delivery. They have delayed my order 3 different times and I had to rent furniture until I get mine. I finally, 3 months later received a text to actually schedule delivery. I'm supposed to get free delivery since I already paid for it, but the delivery windows that are free are during the week from 8am to 6pm, forgive me for having a full time job. So I had to pay and extra $40 to have it delivered on Sunday when I could be home without missing work. I am filing a complaint - today I had my dining set delivered and noticed structural issues with the chairs and bench, which were either dirty or uneven/wobbling. I told the delivery workers of the problem and I wanted an exchange. One of the workers fed me false information, claiming that the chairs normally come like that and it takes two weeks to break in a chair/bench, since it was built new. When I told him again that they were wobbling, he then proceeded to tell me that my floors were uneven. I showed him multiple times the chairs and bench were uneven, even as he tried putting the items in different parts of the room, which did not work. He called a store manager during the time of delivery, and used particular wordage to get her to agree that the chairs needed to be broken in. To her credit, she made no such agreement and instead offered a discount to keep the items or exchange. After selecting to exchange, I was told it would take another month to receive new chairs/bench and I complained that either was unacceptable because Thanksgiving was in two weeks and I had nowhere to feed people. After considering to reject the set and demanding a refund, she was able to find a delivery date to the next day. After I got off the phone with her, the worker again, stated his earlier misinformation tactics, who spent the majority of his time in my house attempting to convince me to accept the entire delivery as is. He continued to argue with me, leading me to be extremely firm with him. I had to inform him that I have purchased dining sets and chairs in my lifetime and that the information he was providing me was untrue..and that I have already rejected the items in question. I am absolutely furious that your company has an ethical problem in which its workers misinform their customers at the point of delivery and manipulate their own employees to avoid honoring what should be a quality purchase. This is my second purchase with Living Spaces and because of how I was disrespected in my home, I likely will walk away from as a long-term customer, unless the company can do something to make it right. read more

Before my recent move, I went into living spaces to look for a couch and living room cabinets. I was surprised when walking in at how large the store actually was. The woman at the entrance behind the counter asked us if there was anything she could help us with and offered us cookies (they were tasty). We didn't need help at the time and decided to just walk through all of the furniture. As we went along, the team members checked on us but generally left us alone until we went and asked a question. I decided on a couch and they brought an employee over to the one I had selected and we completed the transaction there. The process was very easy and the delivery process was explained to me. The delivery was scheduled for weeks out as they said they had to get it from another state but I called the week before delivery to ask if they could deliver earlier and they delivered the next day. I also loved that I was able to track the driver's status on the way to my apartment so I didn't have to wait around until they arrived. One thing about this store was that they had a ton of bedroom/ office furniture/ couches but didn't have as many accent pieces as I would've hoped for. First question to ask: is everything in stock and deliverable right away. If not, ask where the furniture is shipped from. We ordered sectionals (reclining). The middle section of a 3-section couch was delivered, along with a reclining rocking chair and 2 reclining pieces of a love seat with console. Finally, the 4th week later, the two remaining reclining end pieces of the couch was delivered. Still waiting for the console. Going on 5 weeks and we're still waiting for the center console of the love seat. Today I was told our console is on a container ship and reclining furniture comes from overseas. Must be a slow boat from China. PAY ATTENTION TO cancellation/restocking fees (even when stock didn't possibly have time to be pulled). Delivery fees: different days have different fees--all days aren't created equal. Would I buy from Living Spaces again? Nope. Not a chance. Especially when we live in a city with so many other choices. I can't say anything about the quality or value of its only been 4 weeks. this review is specifically concerning the revive sleep center and the "warranty" that is offered on furniture sold at this store. I bought an adjustable foundation for a queen size bed and also bought the warranty. when it quit working I contacted them right away. they finally sent someone out, determined that it was irreparable, then offered me $200 store credit to replace my $1000 purchase or a replacement. Of course, I chose the replacement. It has now goin on 4 months that my bed has been broken. Communication is extremely limited and SLOW. I would not purchase from them again. read more

I went to the store to discuss because the customer service person on the phone was no help. I ended up getting my money back for the couch and took the chair home myself. As for twin mattresses...I immediately cancelled the order for these because the sales person showed me 12 inch mattresses and when I got home and reviewed the receipt, they sold me 8 inch mattresses (for the 12 inch price) - Was that a bait and switch? or an innocent mistake? Hmmm Now the dining room set - It has been 2 months. I knew it was backordered and was promised early May. When it didnt come I called to check the status. Date changed to mid May. That time came and went and they promised part of the order had come in and it should be any day when they get the rest. Now it is May 31. Today I went to the store and apparently it will be another "two weeks". I asked them to sell me the scratched up floor model (and it is scratched pretty bad) and they said company policy doest allow they to sell items they still carry. I told the lady that apparently they don't really carry this item because I have been waiting two months. - But my real issue here is why dont they contact customers and tell us that our orders aren't coming? Do not buy from here. Customer service is terrible / non existent. No one has any "authority" to help with any issues. I ordered online at 5:00 pm and messed up my online order and called the next morning which is literally an overseas call center and they said no it was a custom order and kept saying "terms and conditions", said I might have better luck getting helped in store so I packed up my kids and drove 30 miles to the store to be told the exact same thing. I literally just picked a sofa online and it made me pick a color out of a few options. Didn't feel very custom to me or else it sounds like they could label everything as being custom. Not only were they not able and willing to cancel it, they weren't able to change anything about it either, I offered to even spend more money and take store credit if they could, but all they could do is cancel it and charge you 25% which equaled out to almost $500. They also don't care to lose your business. Nobody cared, just said sorry and walked away. Every other furniture store I have dealt with is always willing to help get you the right thing, I have been dealing with so many furniture stores lately willing to do the right thing for the customer. Will never set foot in there again. They made a mistake and ordered the wrong mattress. We were very clear on the one we wanted. We did not notice the mistake until it was delivered because you assume the know how to order the correct product. When trying to have it exchanged for the correct mattress, we were told that if we exchange it, that would be final sale. Even though it was their mistake. The other option was to keep the incorrect mattress for 30 days and then exchange it but for $200 restocking fee. The manager was of no help at all and just said it is "company policy". Place is huge service was great. The play zone Was huge and the kids loved it, we loved the peace of mind to be able to relax and take our time to find a great couch. Free Starbucks coffee was a plus for the wifey. Found a perfect couch there was no pressure sales personnel and deliver was brought on day promised. Couch wrapped and it excellent condition "new". You can also insure pieces you want under warranty you don't have to buy it for the whole couch which is cheaper and a great thing in my opinion. All in all I would definitely go back again especially cause the kids always want to stop by when we pass the place to play. Warranty doesn't include removal of defective furniture. Zero stars are too many for this company. I bought the Rayna power glider for my nursery. I used it for 10 days!!!!! It got stuck in the open position at 3 am while I was feeding my newborn and completely stopped working. I filed a warranty claim, which was approved. But the warranty will not cover the removal of the defective item! I gave birth 10 days ago, and now I have to figure out how to get a power recliner stuck in the open position out of nursery and down a flight of stairs. I spoke to the company several times and they refuse to take their defective chair back or offer any solutions. I have to now pay to get 1800 got junk remove the defective furniture that Living Spaces sold. Stay far away from this company. read more

I ended up going back in the week before Thanksgiving. I needed a TV stand for a center channel speaker and a new receiver, and I was open to purchasing a couch or sectional. We still have not dedicated the time to furnishing the new house. I thought "Well, maybe they were just having a bad day", or "maybe they fired someone and got their act together". WRONG! This experience was just about as bad as last time. The place was empty. I did speak to one guy for a few minutes, but he disappeared and then no one was around. I could hear a few of the employees gathered at one end of the store laughing loudly, but no one nearby. I wandered around for about 20 minutes. Ended up stopping by the front desk on my way out to tell the guy (very politely) that I was leaving without buying anything because I couldn't find anyone to help me out (the employee get together had gone silent and they had disappeared). I expected him to say anything along the lines of "Let me get someone." He did not. He told me "Ok. Thanks for coming in." I left again without spending money. They could not hire worse employees if they dedicated themselves to finding only people who wished to bankrupt the store. It's really stunningly bad. I don't know how well the store is doing, but believe it is doing about half as well as it would be with competent management. read more

Living spaces I wish there was another alternative or option. We purchased a custom designed sectional from Living Spaces (The Everett) 1.5 years ago. We purchased the extended 5 year warranty as well. As a reputable company and prestige quality listed by others we were very excited to purchase not just the sectional, but also furnish 2 homes with over 15k in furniture from Living Spaces. Shortly after only having the sectional for 1 year we noticed on the chaise portion of the sectional the seams starting to separate on the cushion cover. Within 2 weeks of noticing, the seam separation quickly became a hole along with all of the other cushions seams separating. As directed I quickly submitted a claim for our covers to be repaired as we were thought to believe the "warranty" would repair the low quality of the fabric. The policy states you must report damage within 60 days of occurrence. Shortly after filing the claim it was quickly denied stating "excessive damage not reported in a timely manner." The damage was reported well within the 60 days of noticing the damages. I then filed a dispute as directed by their own representatives. The dispute was then declined due to a NEW reason. I then filed a dispute for them to deny AGAIN with a WHOLE OTHER REASON. On a recorded line I was advised, "this is a common occurrence they don't cover due to the covers often being made too tight." We loved our sectional so much first received and have done nothing but provide applicable care as it was only in our home for barely 1 year. Their warranty and corporate made the determination this was "normal" wear and tear, and would not be covered due to not a 1 time accidental occurrence. I have made 6 attempts to reason with Living Spaces how can this possibly be "normal" wear and tear as this sectional is barely 1 year old. Also, would this not be SUFFICE evidence as a product or factory defect due to ALL of the cushion covers separating at the seams. Photos included in post. The only repossessed received have been "I'm sorry your sofa is falling apart. We unfortunately cannot help." Not only is our sectional of 1.5 years old separating, but the Everett sectional also custom built for a 2nd home ALSO separating that was just built and delivered of January of 2024. This sectional also has different fabric and sizing. If this is the true quality of their product and the type of service provided to repeat customers, I question the pricing versus quality being provided. I am hoping this provides insight on what the company is not sharing, or other experiences of similar nature.
