I would give Living Spaces zero stars if I could. We purchased a standard king mattress from Living Spaces and recently discovered that the mattress delivered was smaller. Because we trusted that the correct product had been delivered, we had no reason to suspect an issue until we began experiencing problems with the fit. The incorrect mattress size has left a dangerous gap between the mattress and bed frame, creating a serious safety concern for our family. We have young children who often sleep in our bed, and there is a risk of a child becoming trapped between the mattress and frame. What is most disappointing is the lack of accountability and customer service. A mistake made during delivery has now become our problem, despite the fact that we paid for a different product. Customers should be able to trust that the items they receive match what they purchased. I am sharing this review so other customers will double-check their deliveries and measurements immediately. We were greeted when we walked in. There weren't any pushy salesmen hounding us while we walked around. This place is huge and has a huge selection to choose from. They even have a playground for the kids to play in while you shop. They also have a bar area and you can actually order food and drinks as well. This has to be one of the most upscale furniture stores I've ever visited in my life. We are not in the market for a new furniture set, we are actually looking for an entertainment center. BUYER BEWARE!!! I have purchased much furniture there over the years, and they always push the care package on you. I purchased it and filed a claim for the first time ever. It's a horrible post-purchase experience of circles and loops and while they say it's covered for 5 years, within the first year I have an issue. I reported it in time, they said you'll hear back in 2-3 business days, after 3 weeks I had to follow up, the following day I get an email that it's denied, I had to file a dispute - they tell you to call a number to do so, when you call the number it guides you to send in an email, you get this "form" but then they ask you to submit pictures again, and this time they want "more" pictures, it's an entire scam. My mom suggested I come to this location because I was looking for a rug and dining table for my new house. We had just came from my favorite furniture store, Rooms-To-Go, where I found a nice living room set and bought it. I figured to get ahead of the game and look other places for a rug/dining table because I wanted to see other options. So, we came into Living Spaces and my mom and sister or browsing their rugs while I waited on the couch. We then proceeded to walk to the back in the dining room area to look at options. I found this perfect table with a lazy susan in the middle. A sales woman, Annette, comes by to see if we needed help. We tell her not at the moment but the instantly remembered we did have one quick question regarding the chair styles. We ask if we could switch out the style of the chair for something else. She tells us in a short and abrupt tone "Well whatever you see here is what comes with it" then she looks at the pricing tag on the table to then say "You can switch out a different chair style for the table." Ma'am, you just said rudely that whatever is here is what we get, now we have an option to switch? Which is it? It was giving she didn't really know. So, i let it slide and brush it off and just said thank you to dismiss my attention bc at this point I'm annoyed at her for being half rude like she really didn't want to help three black women. So, we stay seated at the table for about 10 more minutes discussing how we would want to position it and decorate it in my place, etc. She then comes BACK over passing us by while walking with a customer she's actually is helping and says "You guys are STILL sitting there huh!? In a condescending tone. I reply back to her "yes and we like it that's why we're still sitting here!" She kept walking and never came back to see if we wanted to buy it or anything after i said that. So, when we decide at this point we'll just come back and spend our money, we meet Annette from the Mattress department and she was stellar with her approach. She asked us if we had questions or needed help, and she answered a few questions we had about the delivery process. Once we said we would want to eventually purchase it, she let us know because she works with the mattresses, she couldn't sell it to us. We tell her that we do remember Liam checking on us as well and if he could help us. She calls him on the headsets and he came to meet us. He tells us if we needed more information that we could go to customer service and he asks us for our zip code to check our delivery options. As soon as Liam goes to the computer, who do you think skips her way to try and get the sale? Miss Condescending herself, Annette. Instantly my energy changes and I don't want to buy. She comes back there taking charge and says "okay so who needs the table!?" And we are all looking like "us, duh" she walked past us shading us for taking time to look at it now you want to hop in on the sale. Then she rudely ask "who i the table for!" And we say "what does it matter?" She says "well i need to know who im selling the table to" No ma'am, that's not how that works. You don't get to come over here trying to hop in on a sell with possible commission after you treated us as if we didn't have money or that our money only jiggles instead of folds bc we're black women and think you'll get the credit. No ma'am. So, she abruptly get my sisters name and email and we leave so annoyed and pissed at how rude and condescending she was. We walk to the front to tell the manager, and he was super nice and accommodating. He links us up with Lorraine and she was amazing. I was about to walk out that store so mad at how i was treated like my money doesn't matter bc it was giving because we were 3 black women, Annette treated us like "what are you doing in a fancy establishment like this?" type of energy. So, this review would have 5 stars if we would have met Lorraine sooner. But because Annette in Dining had me mad, this gets a 1 because why are you treating people like that? You don't know what kind of money I had to spend and now my enthusiasm to buy after I get the dining set is declining for future purchases. S/O to the Manager, Lorraine and Annette in Mattresses for your help. Liam was cool but i wish he would have said from the jump he couldn't help us bc I guess he's the supervisor and doesn't sell. We came in looking for bed frames + mattresses, and while I do think the selection was MASSIVE, I got way too distracted looking at everything else that was being offered. If you were looking to furnish your home from 0 to 100 real quick and could drop a pretty dime, this is ABSOLUTELY your place. This isn't to say that everything here costs a fortune, because that would be a total lie. There are definitely items in each category that would be considered affordable and then items that I'd personally label luxury. They also have a play space for kiddos which is NICE, but we didn't get to venture to it this time. We did, however, love the yellow double seater car and so did our young ones. I purchased lamps thinking that all three were potential floor lamps. Description was not clear so I called customer service before purchasing and was assured they were all the same height and adjustable. They were delivered to my mom's house. Once I had time to go over there to put them together, it became apparent that only one of them is a floor lamp and the other two are desk lamps. I called trying to return them but I missed the 7 day window by two days and they will not refund or exchange the item. I'm so disappointed in this store policy as this small window for returns and AND exchanges is not typical of big businesses or even small ones. They brought it in through the front door, however the guys were holding the chairs 2 at a time. They are very heavy chairs so I'm not sure why they couldn't be a little more patient & bring 1 at a time. They damaged the wall next to the table as well as the front door. We bought an "as-is" futon from Living Spaces. We understand what "as-is" means -- minor imperfections or floor models -- not something that breaks within 24 hours of getting it home. Sadie did a visual walk-through in the store but didn't actually check the structure or legs. It looked fine, but the piece completely collapsed the next day and is now unusable in our space. I first spoke with a representative at Living Spaces' national headquarters who acknowledged the piece was unstable and even suggested we might receive a replacement. That gave us hope. But when we followed up with the local store, we got a completely different story. Evelyn was polite but not at all helpful. The only "resolution" we were offered was 10% off -- which is completely meaningless when the item doesn't even function as furniture. We're active-duty military and expected at least a good-faith effort to make this right. Instead, we got brushed off. Living Spaces clearly doesn't stand behind what they sell -- even when the issue is structural, immediate, and acknowledged by their own corporate team. First the good, and then why I will not be buying from Living Spaces again. The store in Cibolo, TX is big and well laid out. The staff is friendly, and the prices are what's to be expected these days. The problems for me started with the delivery. Understand, delivery is not free and for a $99-$139 fee you are given the next delivery date available but not the anticipated hour? That comes later after the sale from the 3rd party delivery company. You are given a 4-hour window that could be morning or afternoon they decide that for you unless you select a much later delivery day and here's the fun part...if they are late or early and you are not at home, you will be charged another $99-$139 for a 2nd delivery attempt. In other words, you really need to plan on being home the entire day and not just the 4-hour window! Knowing this I ended taking the entire day off from work and yes, the delivery company arrived late and all I could do was wait it out. They set-up my sectional sofa but did not test the recliners and sure enough after they left one of the recliners was not working. After calling them they stated they would just deliver another recliner the next day and again I would really need to plan on being there the whole day in case they showed up early or late...or else I would have to pay another delivery fee. So, I had to take another day off from work. This poor delivery SOP seemed unreasonable to me so I called Living Spaces Customer Care and spoke first with Kieth and then a manager, Eric, neither of the two showed any empathy and offered no help whatsoever. Living Spaces please do better! If I am paying for my delivery, please allow me to choose either morning or afternoon delivery and then make sure you adhere to the 4-hour window of delivery and if you can't and arrive either early or late understand that that's not the customer's fault! Don't charge an additional fee for not being able to properly manage your deliveries. read more

Never felt rushed or uncomfortable as we considered many options for a dual recliner, dual purpose desk for dining too, dining chairs and accent chairs. Also asked to see chaise lounge options for our bedroom and they had the PERFECT one! Prices were great and the salesperson showed up clearance chairs too. if I could rate 0 stars, I would. I went in on the holiday weekend to buy a couch I had found online. it was the Araceli sectional in faux leather, taupe color. The sales rep was polite enough, but definitely didn't want to be there. and I was sitting on the material I wanted to order. So that went smoothly, I thought. Then, delivery day came. I got rid of my old couch to make room for the new one, got everything set up, and it gets there, and it's the wrong material. right couch, right configuration, opposite material. it was fabric. So I refused delivery. I called the customer service number to let them know the situation, and THEY COULDN'T HELP OVER THE PHONE. I had to drop everything and go to the store to get help. But then they couldn't process the exchange until the wrong couch got received at the warehouse. They said they would call me the following day to order and schedule delivery. The following day comes and they call in the morning, order and confirm the furniture, and schedule for 2 pieces to be delivered that evening, and the 3rd to be delivered from a different warehouse in a few days. That was fine with me. I was told nothing else needed to be done on my end. SEVERAL hours later, they called and asked why I hadn't submitted the payment for the couch. I told them that I had financed it through synchrony, so no payment should be due. I was then informed that I needed to use my synchrony card to pay the new balance (which was the exact same cost as the original order). Problem is, I don't have a card because it was a newly created account. So they told me they needed to re-process the synchrony application. They apparently can't do that over the phone either. I was told I needed to come in to give them my ID. But at this point I'm on vacation out of state. So they canceled this order too. So I go online to order it and apply for financing online. But the delivery date magically changed, with the earliest being listed as 4 weeks from that date. I called to find out how I couldn't get a closer date, as I was told it was in stock in the warehouse. Magically, it is now out of stock (the representative on the phone assumed). I asked for her to look, and she told me she couldn't without the SKU number, which I didn't have. Needless to say, their promise of easy delivery is DEFINITELY not true, and I will be couch-less for 4 weeks. read more

This furniture store has a bar and play area! A dream for parents who need to shop for furniture but have their kids tagging along. The play area is free for the kids and they can stay for two hours per day. My girls had a blast. There is a large play area, drawing area, TVs and a bathroom inside. We didn't try the bar area since it appeared closed at the time that we visited. My husband and I were able to walk around and make decisions about big furniture items. Living spaces I wish there was another alternative or option. We purchased a custom designed sectional (the Everett) from Living Spaces 1.5 years ago. We purchased the extended 5 year warranty as well. As a reputable company and prestige quality listed by others we were very excited to purchase not just the sectional, but also furnish 2 homes with over 15k in furniture from Living Spaces. Shortly after only having the sectional for 1 year we noticed on the chaise portion of the sectional the seams starting to separate on the cushion cover. Within 2 weeks of noticing, the seam separation quickly became a hole along with all of the other cushions seams separating. As directed I quickly submitted a claim for our covers to be repaired as we were thought to believe the "warranty" would repair the low quality of the fabric. The policy states you must report damage within 60 days of occurrence. Shortly after filing the claim it was quickly denied stating "excessive damage not reported in a timely manner." The damage was reported well within the 60 days of noticing the damages. I then filed a dispute as directed by their own representatives. The dispute was then declined due to a NEW reason. I then filed a dispute for them to deny AGAIN with a WHOLE OTHER REASON. On a recorded line I was advised, "this is a common occurrence they don't cover due to the covers often being made too tight." We loved our sectional so much first received and have done nothing but provide applicable care as it was only in our home for barely 1 year. Their warranty and corporate made the determination this was "normal" wear and tear, and would not be covered due to not a 1 time accidental occurrence. I have made 6 attempts to reason with Living Spaces how can this possibly be "normal" wear and tear as this sectional is barely 1 year old. Also, would this not be SUFFICE evidence as a product or factory defect due to ALL of the cushion covers separating at the seams. Photos included in post. The only repossessed received have been "I'm sorry your sofa is falling apart. We unfortunately cannot help." Not only is our sectional of 1.5 years old separating, but the sectional also custom built for a 2nd home ALSO separating that was just built and delivered of January of 2024. This sectional also has different fabric and sizing. If this is the true quality of their product and the type of service provided to repeat customers, I question the pricing versus quality being provided. I am hoping this provides insight on what the company is not sharing, or other experiences of similar nature. I am happy to share any receipts, screenshots of all correspondence, and any other documentation. We do love our sectional and just hope there is a solution. read more

The store we went to was great. Everyone was helpful and an our questions. We purchased a sectional. HOWEVER, the "customer service" after is a joke! there is exactly ONE phone number for them, and it's not the store. It's a call center in a different country. I filed a warranty claim after my chaise backrest cushion started to separate and bunch up. All of the throw pillows that came with it were completely flat. One was missing entirely. Also the corner cushion started bunching. I started my claim in September. It is now December and I STILL haven't received the cushions. First they only sent the covers. Then after another 2 months of going back and forth with them over it, they resubmitted my order. I thought that finally I was getting everything I was supposed to. I waited 4 more weeks, and only received throw pillows. Still missing the two cushions. When I call, I can only get a hold of the call center. I was told the warranty department is only a back office and they don't have access to phones??? What kind of department doesn't have a phone? The customer service cannot tell me any kind of information. They don't even show my order that was supposed to be sent when I filed the claim in September. At this time, I am still waiting on a Response. I can only get a hold of what I am only assuming is a warranty employee by email and they take 3 to 5 business days to respond to me if I'm lucky. I have waited up to two weeks for them to respond before. I cannot believe we spent nearly $6000 on furniture from them and I can't get a hold of the warranty department directly. It's outrageous and infuriating. I'm starting to think they are dragging this out on purpose until the warranty expires. I am beyond frustrated. read more

The in-store experience was great but the product itself is disappointing. We purchased a bed and were able to get it the same week. It was assembled without issue but upon close inspection found many dents, scratches, and an overall bad paint job. Some of the wood is not sanded down smoothly and is rough to the touch. The bed frame wobbles and needs more reinforcement. With how unstable it is with my kid who is less than 100lbs, I'm concerned about the longevity of the product. The front drawers have a gap on both sides. Maybe we just got a lemon, but suggest a detailed inspection on the product. For all items to be new out of the box at this quality is such a disappointment. We contacted customer service and with our care plan are able to get a replacement. My kid was so excited to get his big boy bed and this experience is such a let down. Finally, I saw a little bar in the back of the store and yes, they sell alcohol!! I hit the jackpot. I was able to grab a drink and a snack and felt refreshed and able to keep shopping. The food and drink prices are minimal and it made the experience of shopping there so much better. They also allow you to apply the price of your food and drinks towards your furniture purchase. We invested 10K in furniture with Living Spaces. The delivery crew showed up and by trying to save time, they rushed and damaged our $4,000 couch beyond repair. One of the delivery crew members tried to pull the still packed couch through the front door by themselves only to rip off part of our door. The dolly put tremendous pressure on the spine of the piece snapping it in half and undoing a large section of the sewing. Upon notifying the delivery driver of this damage, he took a picture and pointed at his phone because he did not speak English. Upon contacting Living Spaces, they refused to replace the broken item and stated that they would send out a technician. We wanted what we paid for which is a new, undamaged couch. We don't want half ass repairs or store credit. Also, the icing on the cake was that one of the chaises had the wrong cushion. This is a horrible business practice and unfortunately giving us added stress on top of moving into our home. We did not heed the warnings from other reviewers and here we are. WELL HERE'S ANOTHER WARNING: They will always resort to either fixing the damaged product or offering some money back (who knows what amount) first before ever replacing it as it's THEIR POLICY. If a technician does repair it and it looks good to THEIR standard then they are scot-free. Doesn't matter what the person who spent their hard-earned money thinks about the repair job. We do not plan on shopping at Living Spaces again and will actively tell everyone about our experience. read more

I sent an email to the retailer email address I was provided after my first review was posted, and that email was returned to me as undeliverable. This doesn't surprise me at all, and just is another link in the chain of a retailer that happily took thousands of dollars from me and doesn't want to fix a problem with their product. read more
