I can see why this living spaces has such bad reviews. I was referred here by their customer service line to purchase two dining room chairs, they were available at this store for sale. I drive an hour and a half only to be told that they will not break up the set with dining table. I ask to speak with the general manager only to be told "he will see you but his decision will not change." They said he was in a meeting so he sent out a supervisor to blow me off basically, he didn't even have the decency to offer me another solution, maybe call another store, whatever...nothing. He (Miguel) sent a supervisor (Evelyn) who apologized for customers services error. I bought a custom couch, dining table and chairs, buffet and $2600 mattress from this company only to be treated this poorly. Store was empty, shame on you Miguel for your poor customer service. I, like many of others who have posted reviews, purchased furniture that was never delivered and have been trying to get a refund for over four (4) months. Customer service is non-existent for this company; Emails go nowhere and a phone line that guarantees you will lose hours of your life and still not get any answers. Ideas for others in a similar situation: 1. Call your credit card company and dispute the charge. Send all your documentation and they should start fighting on your behalf also. 2. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. https://www.bbb.org/file-a-complaint 3. Contact your state's Attorney General's office. Search for Consumer Protection and you should be able to file a complaint there as well. I will be doing all three and I hope you will as well. read more

These folks are the real deal! I have been suffering from spinal stenosis lately and went by to purchase a more Comfortable recliner. They delivered quickly and it was easy to put together. Super comfortable but it had a tendency to flip if I'd lean over to get my drink or something from the side table. They have a 7-day return policy but it took me two weeks to find someone with a truck to help me take it back. I was met at the door by the store manager and after explaining my issue, he instructed the lady's at the office to give me a full refund! Was so amazing, ai got my $640 back just that quick. My wife and I purchased an Alder sectional (SO-010980983) on 04/21/23 at around 5pm. In the showroom, the couch appeared to be comfortable and the material we chose was said to be very durable on long-lasting. After reading through the reviews (https://www.livingspaces.com/pdp-alder-4-piece-sectional-89893) the next day, it was obvious that this model has a lot of issues. There were people who owned this couch for less than a year saying that the cushions were falling apart or losing their cushion. There were multiple reviews from people saying they HATED this couch. This was very concerning to us especially since we just spent $1900.00. The following day (36 hours since purchase) I called customer service to see if we could cancel the order without the 25% stocking fee or just get a store credit to choose a different couch. I had to call 4 times cause I was hung up on 2 times. But got the same answer regarding the policy, which was that there are no credits permitted and we're stuck with the restock fee if we cancel. Since this answer was unsatisfactory to me, I asked the store to call me. Unfortunately, the Manager refused to even consider our situation and denied a refund or credit. I understand the 8:00pm deadline for custom orders, but it's highly unlikely that our order is being built since it was the weekend. So, making an exception for our situation shouldn't be a problem. I also find it odd that this company has no flexibility to make exceptions, which is what any company that cares about its customers would do. But based on the other complaints that I have read here and on Facebook and on the BBB website, I doubt we'll see any reasonable solution. read more

I cannot reach an actual representative from the store or the woman who sold us our furniture. We had delivery scheduled for Monday, at 5:00pm I finally called them and they told me the delivery had been cancelled. With no further information. So now I am waiting 24-48 hours to hear from someone at a warehouse about when my things will be coming. Never have I had an issue with furniture being delivered from another company. NEVER SHOP AT LIVING SPACES! If I could give them negative stars, I would. When I first discovered Living Spaces back in 2016, I loved it and was shocked to find a furniture store where the sales people didn't hound you while you shopped. Skip to 2021, I'm excited to buy a new bed from living spaces. Even though I received a confirmation email the day before saying that my mattress was going to arrive as scheduled, when the truck showed up with my other furniture, no mattress. The customer service at Living Spaces was awful! They blamed me and said I was wrong. I finally got a manager on the phone who, after I provided proof of my email and transaction history and spending an hour on the phone with her trying to get her to admit their wrong and fix it, she finally agreed to get me another mattress so I would have somewhere to sleep that night, but I had to pay an EXTRA $150. I vowed to never shop at Living Spaces again. Now, in 2024, I called up Living Spaces to get my voucher for my unused warranties on other pieces, and they said it's expired. Um, excuse me? You didn't even send me the voucher! The woman on the phone from this store told me again, that I was in the wrong and oh well there is nothing they can do because it's expired. Then she rudely hung up! NEVER SHOP AT LIVING SPACES! The customer service is the worst I have ever seen from any merchant. I walked into the Living Spaces in Cibolo, TX and could not believe the total disregard I was shown. When I walked in there were five associates at the front desk and not one them acknowledged me. I walked around the entire store and past two other associates and still no acknowledgement. There were literally only three other people in the entire store. I am not sure if they made an assumption because I came in straight from the gym and looked a mess but trust me when I say that was an incorrect assumption. I found what I had planned to purchase and took a picture of it and promptly drove to Furniture Row where I was immediately greeted when I walked in. I was originally told in store that my furniture would arrive on Friday. I Paid the full service fee. When I received the confirmation although I mentioned the correct address in store it showed my old address. When I called and had it corrected apparently the delivery was not re confirmed. I had to call once again and have the delivery scheduled and was charged a fee for it being a Friday although The previously scheduled delivery that was poorly handled was already a Friday and there was no mention of fees beyond the amount I paid in store. So after back and forth with the rep that severely lacked basic common sense, and me just wanted my furniture delivered, I gave into the idiocy and paid (got ripped off) the amount to have the furniture delivered. This is not the first time I've had issues with living spaces delivery service. I don't know why I continue to shop here. I love the furniture but the delivery side of this all just sucks. Lastly I have never once received feedback or response from living spaces on how poorly customers are handled on the after sales side so don't expect them to come through. I just moved back to the USA after being gone for 5 years. I moved back into my home in Cibolo and had to furnish my whole home. I decided to piece meal it and buy a little at a time. The two places I looked were Rooms-To-Go and Living Spaces. Rooms To Go seemed more expensive and more pushy, I assume because their employees are on commission where Living Spaces employees are not. I bought a sofa and love seat (both with power leg rests), bedroom furniture, and most recently a dining room set. I have dealt with several associates in the store and all of them have been excellent to work with. The last associate I talked to for the dining room set was Lexie, who was awesome to work with. The dining room, and all previous purchases from this store, were delivered the day after I purchased them. I also always put the furniture together myself and have had no issues with missing parts or items not working. All of my deliveries were on time and one was there an hour early. No problems at all with the delivery guys. I would recommend Living Spaces for their selection, availability of product, and the attitude and helpfulness of the employees. I still have more items to buy so I'll be back to this location several times in the future. Thanks to all employees for their help. read more

I love this store! They have it all!! They have high quality furniture at very reasonable prices. They offer in store same as cash financing which really helped me be able to furnish my new home without breaking the bank. The sales people are top notch! They are there and friendly and ready to assist, but they're not commissioned, so you never feel stalked. The best part, they have an in store bar and cafe. Enjoying a glass of wine while shopping really elevated the whole shopping experience. The food there is simple, but good and took the edge off of making some choices. In store customer service is amazing (Cibolo, TX). But delivery is complete and utter garbage. I bought a new bed and received a delivery without all of the components. I was told that the components would be delivered the following day between 8am and 12pm and I would receive an email confirmation of that time. I never received and email confirmation and called to follow up. I was then told the time was 2 to 5. At 3:30 I was informed that the shipment would be between 4:30 and no later than 5. The shipment was not there at said time. I called living spaces and was told the delivery was 30 minutes out. An hour later it was still not at my home. I called living spaces again and was told my shipment would be at my home between 5:30 and 7:45. This was told to me at 6:30. At 7:41 I called living spaces and was informed that my items were not available and would have to be delivered on a to be determined date. This is complete and utter B.S. Thanks living spaces for ruining an entire day when you could have told me the day before my components were not available. This was a delivery from the store in Cibolo, TX. read more

Do NOT buy anything from Living Spaces. And if you do decide to take the leap, do not waste your money on their warranty because it's a scam. I bought a dining room table and 4 chairs two years ago. The chairs were fabric bottoms and have sunk down. One is sunken down so much it's ripped underneath and they denied the claim, saying it was "normal" wear and tear. Excuse me, but I think chairs should last longer than 2 years and if they are ripped, that is NOT wear and tear. Mind you I have no small children using these chairs. Purchased a sofa and recliner 9 weeks ago. When the sofa arrived - the wireless charger did not work. Delivery agent and Warranty tech looked over the unit and could not find the cause. A replacement wireless part was ordered. Continue to solicit information on the part, tracking number etc... - no resolution. Warranty agent continually states they are checking with the vendor. If the product purchased does not arrive working - don't accept delivery! Recommend refusing the order and having a replacement sent or money refunded. Very frustrated!! read more

I visited this store with friends and our kids and we were looking at mattresses and testing them out laying on them and well you know kids landing on the beds to test them out let me remind you not to jump from bed to bed just testing each bed out, and we were rudely approached by Brittany and employee at the store who said, "don't jump on the bed, they are very expensive" as we were looking at the beds, other non-colored children and an adult were jumping on the mattress and she said nothing. I proceeded to confront her as to why she didn't address them as she did us and she said, "Oh well I didn't see them", as they did it again in front of her and well I said there you go you are seeing and yet nothing was ever said to these individuals. I am not one to automatically throw the RACE card, but clearly, this was an issue. My family and friends will not give business to places that treat people with such disrespect. Ordered a bed for my son, set up full delivery to have it put together as a surprise for him. When the delivery came, half of the bed was the wrong color, which they tried to just walk in and install like it was not an issue. Talked to the delivery person, who spoke with the warehouse manager, who said not to take it, they would get the right piece back out to me within 24 hours. if that had happened, it would have been fine, mistakes happen. However, that is not what happened. 2 days go by with no contact at all. On the 3rd day I contact the customer service, who advised I have to wait another 24 hours since the Warehouse had to reach out to me. Another day with no contact, so I reach out to customer service again, After having calls dropped twice I reached out via chat, where I was told I would have to wait for another month and a half for the right piece to be in stock. however they would not offer any other options for resolution, which I was open to. They tell you one thing in the store and then customer service says another over the phone. If I would've known upfront that I couldn't pay for set/up of my items after 7 days I would've have waited to purchase them or pushed out delivery. Went in on a Friday night. Shocked to find they close at 9:00. Also, pleasantly surprised to find out they serve wine, beer, and snacks. Horrible experience! And it has been dragging on for months. The showroom is large and 'shiny', but everything behind the scenes sucks! Customer service is the worst! They could not correctly establish my account. Could not correctly place my order. Could not keep me updated as to the status of my order. I had to originate every communication. Customer service says nothing when you call, other than "I will write an email to another department." And you never get a response or straight answer. Scheduling delivery is an absolute nightmare. 3 months after placing my order, my furniture arrived damaged. Living Spaces would not take it back the same day. I had to schedule a separate pick-up date. And was told to make sure furniture was not used in the meantime. They also told me my money would be refunded immediately. I made a purchase scheduled to be delivered before July 4 with this company (because of that delivery date ) since family is coming in on the 4th for the first time in years. I received a random email this morning asking me to schedule delivery so in my confusion I spent a full day of communicating with people who dropped my chats (online customer service) and phone calls. Everyone was in different countries and I guess didn't want to help. Finally got someone to stay on the line with me and explain how the dates for the 3rd were available. My confirmation of delivery didn't matter so I won't get the sofa till later. I will never shop from this company again. You can get sofa's from a Bajillion other places but I've never had a company give me a confirmation of delivery and then the day before not even properly communicate that they were canceling that delivery. Received our custom couch, and we received a wrong piece! We immediately called and was told it will be another 4-8 weeks?!? Ugh we were excited that the couch came just on the 4 week marks as we had our family of 6 come in. Well the person that input our couch put the chase as a right side piece when it needed a left side piece we also had to correct her MULTIPLE times in the store when talking about it on paper and putting it in the computer. we had the huge awkward piece for 2 weeks, while family was in town which was annoying because it we didn't have the room to place it anywhere?! When called about getting a new piece it's going to take another 4-6 weeks, barely an apology at the end of the call and no compensation AT ALL? When I called to get status the rude customer service person shared with me that they had until April 8th, with that day passed I called again to find out it will be 4 more days to get an update.
