He didn't take shortcuts and managed to restore the finish far better than I thought possible. The interior now looks spotless, the paint has depth and shine again, and the Jeep feels like it's been given a second chance. I was told by the finance person, Tyler Murphy, that it would take "two weeks conservatively" to receive the equity check. Instead, AutoNation delayed the equity payment for weeks, citing internal policy and title-processing issues. During that time, the new loan on the Audi was funded, the payoff on my trade was completed, and the credit union that held the trade loan confirmed that the payoff/title issue had been cleared on its end. Despite this, AutoNation refused to release my equity check in a timely manner. I repeatedly followed up with the dealership, including J. Kramer, sales manager, and Nick Sandberg, finance manager. I also escalated the issue to AutoNation corporate and received two replies from a corporate representative named Bridgett, but those replies did not provide concrete information, and promised follow-up timelines were not met. AutoNation eventually issued the check, but by that point the delay had already caused significant financial harm. Chase then placed a mandatory hold on the large dealership check until June 23, and I was told the hold was due to NSF/check reversal issues involving AutoNation checks. As a result, from the May 18 transaction date until June 23 at the earliest, I was left without usable access to approximately $21,000 owed to me from a completed vehicle transaction -- a 36-day delay, assuming the check clears and is not returned. In my opinion, this is an unacceptable way to treat a customer. A large national dealership should not require a customer to bear all of the financial risk and delay for weeks after a vehicle transaction is complete.

I can not stress enough, the incompetence at the Lone Tree story is astounding! I spent over $8000 on "toys" to my new car and the only thing that works is the subwoofer. I have taken my car back 4 times now, and each time the problems get worse. Now that they've dragged out the repairs, they say it's past the 30-day window and won't honor the return policy. So I'm stuck with $8k of crap equipment that doesn't work. This isn't even an exhaustive list of the missteps, manipulations and flat out lies. * Head unit randomly turns itself on and off. * Head unit disconnects and shorts out near hospitals * Head unit does not dim at night, causing safety issue. * The radar detector...same. Randomly shuts on and off. * The car alarm I had them install...randomly sets itself off, usually early in the morning, waking neighbors up. I have resigned to disconnecting the battery and no longer driving my car. * Key fob no longer works. The only way to unlock car is by touching the handle. That or just leave unlocked. * Key fob no longer opens trunk. * At times the heads lights refuse to turn off, no matter the position of the switch. * The USB plug-in's no longer connect. On the 3rd visit I was told by the store manager that it wouldn't be a problem to bring it back and remove all the components, refund me my money and make me whole. On 4th visit (3rd visit fix didn't work) I am told by the new manager (now the 3rd manager at the store...tells you how well they're doing) that nothing is refundable. Not one cent. Rather, the "fix" would be to swap out to different equipment, at my cost, that doesn't "really fit in the vehicle right." Are you kidding me??? This is the fix, is to make it even worse??? If these were my answers in my professional I'd be toast! I told the (now 3rd) manager this was unacceptable. He told me I'd have to hunt down the 2nd store manager (no longer there) and take it up with him and that he was unable to offer any other solution. Then he hung up on me. CAR TOYS IS POSSIBLY THE WORST VENDOR I'VE EVER DEALT WITH!!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!
