Do not use their recommended installer, Rodney Cooper, under any circumstances. He tried to charge us $2650 to install a plug-in (no electrical work) vent hood, and vent it to the outside (it was in a cabinet on an exterior wall). There is no way it should have cost any more than $800-900. We have not had any other issues with Livingood's and bought most of our appliances through them. read more

The purchase, delivery, and operation of our appliance package has been good - Samsung W/D and GE Refrigerator. Bought the extended warranty which came in handy early but not towards the end of the contract. Impossible to get a response from the store either via email, text or phone. Now that's it's past the service contract date, I'm expecting their callback. Sorry, going away for good. That's not the way to treat customers. Called and had technician come out, need to order new part, it's been 2 weeks and when you call the service center I Pooler they tell you your call is very important to them, but it's not! Left message, can't get through, waited 20 minutes in queue. Called main store and was told they have same challenge, but she offered to send them an email. read more

I will NOT purchase another appliance from the Okatie store or the Pooler location. Bought a new $3000 Kitchenaide refrigerator the end of November, and the beginning of January the ice maker and water stopped working. A tech came out to research and could not figure out what was wrong, ordered parts. Two weeks later, the whole refrigerator stopped cooling and freezing, service manager came out and stated all the refrigerant had leaked out and have to order more parts. Have not heard from them in a week so we have no refrigerator for a month and a half. Requested a replacement or a refund and crickets! You try to buy local and this is what you get. One star is to many. I purchased an entire house of appliances from Livingoods. My washing machine has been malfunctioning since day one. I had a $400 water bill. Service has been to my house so many times I've lost count. Every time they service the machine, they say it's me not the machine. I have gotten ZERO help through customer service. They only schedule someone to service the machine. The tech is rude and doesn't listen. They tech actually said "I cannot teach you how to do laundry". I've been doing laundry for over 30 years and have never had this problem. So yeah, must be me. Sales is not helpful bc they send me to customer service. When I call Samsung they have no record of my machine being serviced. I'm suck in a circle of useless help who pushes me off onto someone else. I'm heading to Lowe's today to buy another washer. I called at set an appointment to have my refrigerator looked at while it was covered by my warranty. The warranty was set to expire in less than a week. They put a claim in for me prior to expiration even though they couldn't get to me before it expired. They came on the day and time they told me and corrected the issue under warranty. Worst Support System setup ever. Go to Lowes or Home Depot. After I gave them my service and bought a washer drier combo, I purchased a Frigidaire Dish Washer. A dishwasher needs arm that works right...that's all. The first service call after it choked, the did not find the root issue which were some faulty dirt cheap plastic pieces at the base of the arm that broke. An arm needs to be sturdy in a dishwasher THATS IT. We requested replacement with another model and they refused. Don't get conned into thinking your getting service "above and beyond". They will stick to what the manufacturer wants 100% of the time..wmeven if it's repairing an obviously design faulty emu it until your warranty runs out. read more

BUY YOUR APPLIANCES ANYWHERE ELSE. You will not receive decent customer service. We purchased an Electrolux dryer from Livvinggood's in March, and it stopped working at the end of July. It took forever to get a repair person out (it's under warranty), and then they had to order parts, which the repair man said would take about a week. Three weeks later, one of the "parts" has still not arrived. They lied and said Electrolux had to make a part, but when I spoke to Electrolux they said this would never be the case. Additionally, their customer service is AWFUL. They could care less that a family of four has been without a dryer for a month. By now, a better company would have simply replaced the dryer and dealt with Electrolux themselves, or would have at least paid for us to have laundry sent out. I realize this is Savannah, so customer service is basically non-existent across the board, but if you are going to bill yourself as a luxury brand dealer, you should not offer customer service at a lower level than the Home Depot. Sadly, our home builder purchased all of our appliances through them, so we are married to this company until March of next year. I look forward to the day when I can sever ties. We are a military family so we have lived all over the country. This is the WORST appliance dealer we have ever had the displeasure of using. I have called to ask for the manager twice, and was told she would "call me back. I have still never heard from her. read more

We purchased a new home and they supplied the appliances .6 months and our oven melted wires and terminal box and shut down totally.Repair man came 5 days later and order parts to repair it .We have a warranty for 1 yr .So they said call whirlpool which after 4 hours and 3 department they said living good installed it wrong and they need to stand behind it from the parts and melting issues noted they said thats what happened.So when speaking to living goods it was everyones fault but theirs from a power surge which didn't happen to electrical box which didn't happen .So they will fix a melted damaged stove and I gotta hope my house doesn't burn down .So remember shopping local small business don't shop there they won't do the right thing .They need to replace a damaged stove that was installed wrong by their people . read more

Excellent customer service. These salespeople really know the products inside out. We went to Lowe's and were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options. We went to Home Depot and got a salesperson who had to look everything up as it appeared his knowledge was limited. We then went to Living Goods and met our salesman, Rob. He was excellent. Took his time, answered all our questions. No rush. Just extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. The transaction was smooth sailing. Worst experience with appliances ever. From ordering to finally getting service on an appliance that we paid more than we should have.... we were Guaranteed to have appliance before Christmas. They didn't get the one we wanted in so we were "given a deal" which ended up being a floor model. They did not mention that. We were told a repair would be made which 2 months later has finally been resolved but when I provided them with weeks to get a time that would work with my schedule - I volunteer for a number of nonprofit organization- they show up with less than 1/2 hour to make the repair. Don't call ahead as I was told they would do and then it is rushed. Won't deal with them again. read more

Would never purchase anything else from them again. I purchased my washer and dryer and a dishwasher from them, and the dishwasher has broken twice in less than a year. They took over three weeks to come back with the parts to fix the dishwasher then installed them wrong, which made the dishwasher break again. We have since purchased our refrigerator from Lowes which works great, and they even installed it on the 4th of July. I have tried to support local stores in the last two years since we moved here. Nothing good has come out of it but headaches and stress from the lack of resources they themselves have, and the overall outcome. The dishwasher situation is what ultimately did it for us and we will never go back again or recommend them to anyone again. read more

In December of 2021, my wife and I went to Livingoods Oakatie to purchase a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and stove to match the Frigidaire Gallery microwave we already had. I was concerned that the refrigerator might not be available as I had been unable to locate someone who had it on display. Our salesperson contacted his "rep" who stated that the refrigerator was in the distributor's warehouse and would be on the January truck if we ordered it thenWe did not need our new appliances untl March so we ordered the refrigerator and stove figuring to allow two months cushion. When we called for the appliances in March we were told that the stove was in but that the refrigerator would not be in until the end of April. We took delivery of the stove so our new countertop could be templated. Near the end of April, I called to arrange delivery of the refrigerator. I was given a new lead time of early June (6 months gone by). I was told that for an additional $300, I could get a similar refrigerator, but not what I wanted. I called another retailer who said they were unsure when they would be receiving that model. I called Frigidaire customer service and was advised that the particular model I ordered never went into production or if it would ever be produced. Thanks for the lies, Livingoods. I paid the extra $300 and had the refrigerator I did not want delivered. The delivery driver banged the refrigerator into a brand new kitchen cabinet and noted the damage on his delivery receipt. They also rolled the new refrigerator over my gravel driveway, putting chips in the wheels. They also left the refrigerator 1/2" out of level front to back. I sent email with pictures to my sales person. Two months later, no response from Livingoods. Seems they will tell you anything to get your money and do not want to make good on damages they cause. I have told two friends who were looking to buy from Livingoods to go elsewhere. I will continue to inform anyone I know who is looking for appliances to purchase from a reliable retailer. read more

I purchased a microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator from them over the past three months. The microwave and dishwasher were in stock and delivered no problem. The refrigerator was on back order due to COVID, got it last week and was missing a shelf to the inside of the door. The delivery guys said nothing and I didn't notice until after they left. I called the next day and was given the run around so called the owner who said he would have the missing piece shipped to me directly but then never responded to my questions on tracking/shipping so now have to call my credit card company to dispute the charge and try to get the piece on my own from Whirlpool which I'm sure I'll have to pay for. They blame Whirlpool and take no responsibility to inspect appliances before delivery. I had hoped to have better customer service with this company but is worse than Home Depot or Loews. The attitude was not our problem and not a big deal, will "try" to help you and "hope" we can get it for you! UNACCEPTABLE! read more

Having purchased 5 high end appliances at Livingoods within 3 years, the last being a large Subzero refrigerator, I am appalled at the treatment we received when our KitchenAid dishwasher broke for the second time in 5 months. The service center technician walked through our kitchen, ran a diagnostic, told me it was fine, walked out and said not to worry about a bill. He was clearly not happy to be here. Once he left the dishwasher malfunctioned and it is the same part installed 5 months ago. In calling them we were told to call Livingoods in Savannah as they thought KitchenAid should make good on the part and repairs. Savannah quickly let us know they wanted no part of it and gave us the number for KitchenAid which was a number for parts. The women there clearly did not want to help. Frustrated and upset, my husband called Okatie where we purchased the dishwasher and was assured by a salesman that he would talk to the KitchenAid rep and see what he could to. He assured us he would try to help as they want their customers to be happy. When he did not call back my husband called him and he started yelling at my husband on the phone, told him he was rude to the girls in Savannah, and that he was not going to help us. His exact words were "I am through with you" and was told to work it out himself. He denied ever offering to talk to a rep. He then hung up. Mr. Horne was clearly happy with us when we purchased the top of the line Samsung washer and dryer with stands, the KitchenAid high end dishwasher and KitchenAid ice machine, and then the Subzero refrigerator. We purposely shopped at Livingoods to give them and him our business. I stand behind my husband 100% in not being happy at the way he was treated. If he was "rude" it was out of frustration. He was passed down from place to place and given a number to call that was not consumer-friendly. We now have to pay close to $600 for repairs to a fairly new dishwasher and will probably purchase a new one as this one is clearly a "lemon". Livingoods and Mr. Horne treated us as if we have been problem customers from inception which is not true. Mr. Horne even said he wanted to do all he could for us because we were good customers and then turned on us. They seem to forget the ethics and good manners of running a business. I will never recommend this company to anyone again and will go out of my way to let others know how they talk down to their customers and especially how unprofessional Mr. Horne is. We have owned 3 businesses and know that no matter what the circumstances you never talk to or treat a customer as we have been treated. read more

Please note Livingoods does not stand behind what they sell. If you buy from them and you get a lemon, it is just your problem! I purchased all new kitchen appliances at a cost of $10,000. The microwave did not work on day 1. Well, 4 months later and 5 repair visits, I am now waiting again 2 weeks while they order parts. They were quick to collect my money but I still don't have a microwave. When I told them I thought they should replace the microwave their response was we don't do that, you have to take that up with the manufacturer. So, bottom line, Livingoods will sell and deliver the appliance. That is it! If it comes damaged, that is your problem! read more
