Wanted to try the coney dog lunch special. 2 coneys, fries and a drink for $8.79. Real god deal for really good coneys. The hot dogs were good the chili was not spicy but had a good taste, the onions were fresh and plentiful. The fries were not greasy. I had lemonade and water. The service was really good. Dining area was clean. Will do this again.

Great food and service. Loved everything I had. The #7 breakfast special. 2 eggs, 2 sausages, ham, 2 pancakes and their syrup with melted butter muah

Not really my kind of place. Basic, solid in the food but a very old and, dare I say, cheap diner. Rather old crowd but you get a lot for the money. Nothing bad to say but it is just four or five rings below my normal breakfast stops.

Delicious food and great service!!! Ham is the best in town!! Definitely recommend this place!! Prices are also reasonable!!

Meat Lovers Omelette w/ Rye toast and cheesy grits

Stopped in this morning for breakfast and had a very good experience. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive even though they were busy. I ordered a meat lovers omelette with rye toast and cheesy grits. The omelette was excellent and toast was made just right. The grits were a little bland but that was easily fixed with a bit of salt. Also a great sign of the service was that my coffee and water were never empty.

    Great pancakes!

Mr. Pauls Chophouse is what I consider the quintessential old style steak house. Very busy,…read moresomewhat noisy and an excellent menu. We were quickly seated in a comfortable booth and the fun began. There were so many things I wanted to order but was told "you have to order the prime rib". All four of us took that advice and that is what we ordered. 1 rare, 2 medium rare and 1 medium and that is how they were delivered. Perfect. Meals came with soup or salad. You could also order the table side prepared Caesar Salad which both of our friends did order. Just watching the preparation of the salads was amazing. Our friends have been here many times so they knew how good they were. My wife and I each enjoyed the French Onion soup which was very full flavored unlike watery versions many restaurants serve. All of our prime rib dinners were outstanding. Horseradish added to the enjoyment of this perfectly prepared dish. I had heard that this restaurant had recent new owners. I did not verify this however. Service was as good as the food. Not only was our server (Mary) excellent but anyone walking the floor was quick to take away used plates and refill drinks. I experienced one thing I've never encountered before. When bringing our checks, our server reminded us not once but twice the tip was not included. Strange and I might have reacted if everything wasn't so otherwise.perfect. Maybe she's not been tiped before-I don't know. She did the job and we paid her well for it. You always feel so good (and stuffed) after a wonderful meal

I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday and found it to be fairly busy. There was no piano music…read moreplaying, but plenty of chatter from the nearby tables. Inside is dark, moody, with lots of brick and dark woods as you would expect for the era in which the building was constructed. I sat at the bar since I dined alone, where there were plenty of open barstools. They start you off with complementary bread service which is a mix of dinner rolls as well as small and large crunchy bread sticks. I just stuck to the rolls which are fairly standard dinner rolls. They bring a bowl of butter in packets; however, they did not give me a plate to eat my bread....just a napkin layed across the bartop which was strange. I later saw other bartop patrons being served a small plate for their rolls, so apparently they just forgot mine. For drinks, they do have all the usual drinks, beer, wine and cocktails. I just stuck with an iced tea which was refilled several times during my visit. I didn't want to go crazy with ordering so I just stuck to the prime rib, a side of their special baked potato, a french onion soup and an iced tea. Their actual steaks start at around $45, as of August 2026. French onion soup - pretty standard. This is a small portion/cup. Some restaurants cup sizes are larger than others. I did like it though. Prime rib - this is a healthy 16oz slice. Cooked to perfection. They asked how I wanted it....they gave me a perfect slice. The one interesting thing is they give you 2 different horseradishes here, regular and whipped. I preferred the whipped. I ate most of it, leaving only a couple of ounces at the end. The entire time I felt like this was maybe closer to 22 or 24 ounces. Twice baked potato - really tasty as they typically are. I was only able to eat half of it though. Service was very attentive even though the bartender was training a new employee the entire time.

Pretty solid place for a BYO burger option…read more I like all the options they offer....multiple proteins, buns, toppings and sauces. Everything was well prepared, meat temps were correct, buns were toasted and toppings were plentiful. If anything, you may want to be cautious on the BYO toppings because things can get sloppy if you add too many. We loved our apps as well, boneless wings and pretzels. Will definitely be back

World's End was a decent bar/restaurant that was mostly known for its burgers. The service was…read morefriendly and efficient. The cheese sticks were above average. The fall out fries were the move over the regular fries. The serving size was enough for 2 people. The side salad was run-of-the-mill. I ordered a medium rare, 1/2 lb bison burger on a brioche bun with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, and bourbon ketchup. It ending up being rare instead of medium rare, and had fried (crispy) onions instead of caramelized. My wife crafted her own mac and cheese. After confirming the "chicken bites" were fried, she ordered a bowl of mac with those, onions, cheddar, and velveeta. The chicken appeared to be grilled rather than fried, and the mac itself lacked any flavor. Considering the mac was $21, we definitely wouldn't order it again. To say the least, I wasn't surprised to hear World's End closed. Had it not, I would have given it another chance.
