We needed a whole new system due to an evaporator coil manufacture defect issue and they gave us several options to choose from in order to accommodate our budget. Chris and Paris came out to install our new system and they worked quickly, were able to get our new air-conditioning unit and evaporator coil installed in less than a day, and they did great work; it has been running amazing ever since. Jr's service was recommended to us on a very short notice and he was able to make it the same day after hour. He was super on time and had great communication letting us now when he was on the way. We have worked with several AC companies, many high review ones you see on the internet in bay area region. The quality of the work Jr delivered and high volume of cool air coming from AC reminded me today to come and write this review. We expected just a consultation but he had the parts on spot and changed the burned unit right in the first 10 minute of showing up. This is not what you expect usually from AC guys, they quote you for some parts that are not even broken and delay is the tactic. He even washed the filter of our AC recommended changing its type, and even when we asked about protecting our AC from rodent he provided the taping on the piping to reduce chance of damage. There were so many things that were addressed in a short 30 minute visit that need three other AC ppl to address it if we called other companies. Above all he was beyond fair, the quality of his work with the value and price he offers is unmatched. Trust this guy, he is a good family man that fixes your AC promptly with no gimmick.

The owner apologized, wasn't defensive, didn't try to get to me explain my self and was just apologetic to what I experienced. They offered partial refund and service to show that they want to fix the wrong and prove that they are a great service company. ------ Original review: I had a very negative experience with air shark technician. My issue was needing the capacitor replaced. The fix was quick and I was clearly over charged. When I asked about this, the technician just said it's just business. He exaggerated the price of the part needed which is a capacitor saying it's like $200-$300. It's at most $50. It took him like 10 minutes to replace the part and said you either accept the charge and pay or I just take it out. It felt very predatory, like I already fixed it you might as well pay. He proceeds to measure temps and other various things just to pass time while he waits for me to decide if I want to pay or have him unfix it. I can accept being over charged but something about how this situation transpired left a bad taste for me. For example, why wouldn't you say you need to replace this and it cost this much for the fix instead of fixing it first then say pay or I take it off.

That being said, it ultimately became roughly the same, if not a little cheaper, than other places that charged by the hour or quarter hour, as the job was a little more complex than initially thought. The guy spent almost 2.5 hours here to change out two bibs (again, way more complex than he probably thought), and he did a wonderful job. My problems were addressed same day, same visit. If I chose other plumbers, I would have waited days before my items were addressed. I've used Jazz before with my older AC unit, and they will always have a spot in my contact list if I need help with my HVAC or plumbing.
