First, let me say that I absolutely am petrified of dentists and it's been this way since I was a child because of all of the TERRIBLE dentists that are out there. I was referred to Dr. Lee by a friend and he has seriously changed my mind regarding dentists. Dr. Lee sat and calmed my fears about a tooth that really needed a ROOT CANAL, was very patient and understanding and answered all my questions, guided me step by step throughout the whole procedure, and clearly explained everything (with pictures and videos!) and even waited until my whole mouth was numb to the core before starting the procedure (this made me feel A LOT better as some dentists would just start as soon as possible). It was immediately obvious that Dr. Lee truly cares about his patient's comfort and puts that as a top priority. The entire experience is definitely the best (by a big margin) experience I've ever had a at a dentist. In addition, the office is absolutely beautiful and everyone in the office is really nice! Was looking for a new dentist and found out about this location from a Groupon for a cleaning, exam, and x-rays. The reviews were promising, and the office is conveniently located right near Columbus Circle, so I gave it a try. I am absolutely pleased with my experience. The office is very clean, modern, and easy to locate. I was able to get an appointment on a Saturday on fairly short notice, and the receptionist was helpful on the phone (the receptionist wasn't in the day of my appointment so I did not interact with her in person). They have an online booking process (which I didn't use) and they send appointment reminders via email as well. My dentist was Dr. Lee and all of these 5-star reviews are spot on - it's hard to overstate how impressive he was, in every aspect. He is personable, in a genuine kind of way. He said he was from the mid-west originally, which I'm sure helps explain his welcoming, calming demeanor. He was also very attentive and knowledgeable, and explained his spot-on observations in a thorough yet concise manner. He just comes across as a dental provider who really knows his stuff and honestly wants to make your dental visit as comfortable as it possibly can be. I was prepared for the usual attempt to up-sell me on something, which tends to happen when you use coupon-type deals, but there was none, which was SO refreshing. Had they tried to do that, I wouldn't go back. But because my experience here was so overwhelmingly positive and comfortable, I will most certainly be going back, and will trust what he recommends (if anything) in the future. LK advanced dentistry is my primary dental care provider. Located on the third floor of what looks like a residential apt building in the middle of columbus circle, the office is clean and bright. Dr Kim is the best - she makes you feel comfortable and explains every procedure she goes through with you so you're aware or what to expect. Her cleaning is always thorough. I love the little goodie bags they give you when you leave, they are all travel size so I take them with me when i'm flying places. Anyhow, I would highly recommend! read more

The clinic is beautiful, spotless, warm and inviting. From the front desk staff, to the dental assistant to Dr Lee himself, the whole experience was really great-- definitely one of the best dentists I have ever been too. Even though I bought an online deal, Dr Lee was extremely thorough, answered all my questions, was patient and kind, and did not try to hard sell anything at all. First off, I just to have to start off by saying it's great to find a dentist's office where I go and feel like I'm taken care of. Just simply a great office which seems newly renovated with everything VERY clean and a nice staff. After having a HMO plan for years, I finally got on a PPO dental plan and found this office through my insurance website. It's a great location right by the Columbus Circle train stop which made it easy to stop by during my lunch hour. I was kindly greeted by the receptionist/assitant at the front desk and she took my jacket and I had to wait only a few minutes before Dr. Lee came out to greet me to start my session. Dr. Lee was super patient and answered all my questions in a really clear way and worked on my teeth very gently. It was cool seeing all my teeth on the tv monitor while he explained all the details from the teeth x-ray. Dr. Lee seemed genuinely passionate about teeth which was nice to see. I'd definitely go back to LK dentistry for my semiannual checkups or any other teeth related issues. They charge you a really big cancellation fee even if you call the day ahead of time. I had been a customer for over a year and have had to reschedule but always gave them my business but the fact that they weren't willing to work with me and just charge my credit card even though I gave them proper notice was annoying. read more

She made an appointment for me at LK Advanced Dentistry with Dr. Lee to get a general check-up and a cleaning. After taking my x-rays, Dr. Lee recommended that I remove my wisdom teeth. He gave me all my options and said he could remove them that day if I wanted. I thought, "why not? might as well get it done while I'm here." I originally came to this office after purchasing a LivingSocial deal for an exam/x-rays/cleaning. I normally have my dental work done while I'm in a different country, because I don't currently have dental insurance and it's usually prohibitively expensive, so I'm always leery of trying a new dentist here because of their tendency to try to up-sell you into other procedures than what you're there for. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience than the one I received here, though! Dr. Lee is amazing! I can only add to what others have written. Great service from start to finish, no pain at all, and dr Lee was very informative and professional. My teeth are in a bad state and he didn't shy away from telling me exactly what was happening, and how long I might expect to keep the tooth that was causing an issue. I am uninsured and got a Groupon. I needed quite a complicated filling. He tolf me the cost in advance, and it ended up being a reasonable price for X-rays, exam, a very thorough cleaning (that had a dramatic effect on how my front teeth look), anaesthetic and the filling. I think I paid $275 for the filling work and the rest was covered by a $40 Groupon. ,I'm on a limited budget and I think that this is probably the best deal I could have got in Manhattan apart from NYU, Location is easy to find, right next to Colombus Circle. The surgery is hygenic and the receptionist / dental assistant is very pleasant and friendly. All in all my visit was a very positive experience and I would definitely return. I went to LK dentistry with a Groupon for a dental exam,x-ray and cleaning. I really liked it. The ambiance is nice and very clean, the doctor was extremely nice and professional and did a great job. He gave me some advice on how to take care of my teeth and sensitive gums and most of all he didn't try to sell me stuff or make me come back for unnecessary treatments or found imaginary problems like most of the other dentists included in the Groupon deal apparently do. I found this practice because I bought a Living Social coupon for a yearly check up. The office was clean, modern and incredibly convenient in its location across the street from the Columbus Circle subway station. I appreciated the text reminder I got a few days before my appointment and on the day and the e-mail with the intake form that was sent before my appointment (which I promptly forgot to fill out and had to do once I was there). Dr. Lee was an absolute sweetheart, he explained everything we were looking at on the giant monitor showing my x-rays and photos he'd taken of my teeth and pointed out problem areas he'd recommend taking care of in order of priority. I felt well taken care of and couldn't wait to get out of there to write my Yelp profile and tell more people about my experience. Unfortunately I have to go back next week to replace a filling but I know I'm in good hands and will be much more comfortable once it's taken care of and avoiding a root canal! read more

Had a wonderful experience here! I had come for regular check-up and cleaning, and I had a Living Social coupon for the same. The offices are very clean and the instruments were brand new. Dr. Lee was very nice and professional, explained the X-ray radiographs clearly and advised me to keep an eye on certain areas. He proceeded to do a thorough cleaning, again drawing attention to problem areas as he came across them. I have had some horrible experiences with going to the dentist and so I'm always a little weary when it's time for a cleaning or check-up. But I heard such amazing things about LK Advanced Dentistry that I decided to give it a try. A newly opened practice, it is by far the best dental experience I have ever had. I went in for a cleaning and got a cavity filled: gentle, fast, and efficient. Dr. Lee and his dental assistant were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Lee explained every step and told me to raise my hand if I felt any discomfort throughout the cleaning and filling. Of course, the entire process was painless so I just sat back (in what is possibly the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in at a dentist's office) and watched a movie as Dr. Lee finished up. Yes, there's a big flat screen in each treatment room!! When he's not reviewing your xrays with you on the screen, he turns on a movie for your viewing pleasure. It really, truly is great service in such a clean and new facility. It's so hard to come by a dentist that doesn't make you cringe or make you feel like you're being ripped off. I finally found a dentist I can trust and now my teeth are amazing! I've already recommended LK Advanced Dentistry to all of my friends (I've changed a few lives and my friends have found themselves a dentist for life ^.^ ).
