Having moved back to my hometown of Queens, I figured it was time to get a check up as they were walking distance from my apartment. At first, I was very nervous and was not in the mood for lectures due to my unwillingness of going to the dentist. I was quite surprised when their entire staff welcomed me and completely understood why I never went back to the dentist. They were not condescending in the slightest. There was no waiting either. They told me 5:00 pm and I was sitting in the chair within minutes. Considering it has been over a decade since I have gotten my teeth checked, there was a lot that needed to be done. Both Dr. Faigen and Dr. Bergida thoroughly examined my teeth without rushing despite having to go room to room attending to other patients. They would joke and made me feel extremely comfortable. I am terrible with names, but I had two different hygienists clean my teeth (over two appointments - deep cleaning). They both did such a fantastic job. They didn't rush. They made sure I felt no pain. They were both very informative on proper at home care for my teeth. Extremely professional. My teeth have never looked better even when I was going to the dentist regularly as a teenager. I also needed to get a filling done. Dr. Faigen was extremely cordial and such a professional. He talked me thru every step of the procedure and made sure I was 100% comfortable. The entire experience did not feel like I was getting a filling done, but hanging out with a friend. I don't write reviews ever (you can see that this is my first). I felt compelled to do this one which is a testament as to how great their service is. The entire staff are A+ professionals. Their prices are hard to beat as well if you do not have insurance. Their hours are very flexible for those who work until 5 or later. They are also open on Sundays as well. I highly recommend anyone to give this place a try. You will not regret it.

He always takes the time to explain my X-rays and walk me through his recommended course of action, which makes me feel informed and confident. August 2024, I went to Metro Smiles for a replacement of a crown. Dr Block prepared a crown with an…read moreAI technology. He prescribed to avoid eating on the side of the crown for about four weeks. I followed the instructions, however, I felt that the gum was swollen and bleeding constantly, the crown didn't feel comfortable, it felt rough and uneven. In October I went back to Dr Block so he extracted a piece of cement/glue which was pinching the gum causing an inflammation and accumulation of blood in the gum. So Dr. Block told me all was fixed. So prescribed the rinse and avoid eating on the side of the crown. In December I called Metro Smiles and the Dr. Block said give it one more month so the gum has time to heal. At the end of December, I called the office and the dentist was out of the country on a holiday so I got another bottle of the rinse to prevent an infection. In January 2025 I went to a dentist to get a second opinion. The dentist took another piece of cement/glue and told me that since the cement/ glue was so long pulling the gum, the gum had resided. additionally, the dentist told me to go back to Metro Smiles since the crown was no done properly and the dentist should correct it. After the bad experience I was afraid to go back to Metro Smiles. So the dentist said he will try to fix it but no guarantee. The dentist thought that the crown should be removed. I wait until April 2025 and I noticed I was still bleeding so I went to a dentist in NYC and he said the gum was inflamed because the AI crown created by Dr. Block was pushing against a molar. He advised me to go back to Metro Smiles so they can correct the issue. Again I said no way I go back there. Conclusion the solution was to remove the crown done by Dr. Block at Metro Smiles and get a new crown. SO BE AWARE.

I can finally feel like my teeth are in good hands. And I can feel that my teeth will be the healthiest they have been in a while. I can finally start doing my checkups and cleanings as I should. I just got my tooth implant today which I have been meaning to get for a while. Everything went perfect. I came in a few days before so he can review with me. And the day of he reviewed what we were doing again. Checking with his staff and double checking to make sure they had all they needed. I was also getting a temp tooth put in place. Dr. Griesner was so attentive to how I was feeling through out the whole procedure. He even took the time to let me have a little bit to eat before hand because I ate nothing and I wouldn't be able to eat for a few hours after. The procedure went without a hitch. And I was done in no time at all. I would recommend Dr. Griesner to everyone. Everyone deserves a dentist like this.

He kept telling me about my broken tooth, i need a crown that will cost me roughly 7k, if i want to do it in his office he will given me a discount and bla bla bla. I told him i really don't care about that particular tooth yet, my concerned was my tooth that was bothering. He just ignored my concerned and going back to crown procedures. I went to different dentist to get 2nd opinion turned out that my wisdom teeth is coming out thats the reason why i was in pain. I have insurance that covers 100% any procedure! This is a family run dental practice that takes great care of its patients. Our family sees two…read moredifferent dentists at this practice (for different specialties). They go above and beyond in their care. One family member had a mouth ache over the weekend and they were willing to see her on Sunday when the office was closed. I've never seen this level of concern for a patient at any practice. Their commitment to patients is beyond transactional. The dentists do not rush and communicate with the patient to ensure all concerns are addressed. I can be grouchy about excess X-rays in general and they are savvy in dealing with my concerns while ensuring I get proper care. The staff communicates fluently in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. I switched to this practice due to a long distance move and thankfully they have been willing and capable of servicing my dental prosthetics from the previous dentist. When I don't take public transportation and drive to my appointment, I park at Tangram Mall a block away. Surprisingly, I am often able to find street parking.
