Just terrible. Flooring I bought there that was suppose to be top of the line is now splitting and cracking. 100 Year Warranty covers NOTHING! Customer Service from their corporate responded to a complaint and never got back to us. I will never buy flooring from this store again! STAY AWAY! Floor is separating 2nd time and LL is refusing to repair. We have called every week for a month and we're getting nowhere. They are saying that the material is bad and nothing g they can do. WTF. Bought my fixer upper house 15 years ago, and finally got around to replacing the floor in the sunroom. The staff were all Very helpful and friendly, and patient. It took me a long time to make my choices...thanks team! Install was much faster then expected and due to the size of the room, I have extra flooring (they needed 3 planks from the final pack, I totally understand that's how it's sold) so I think there's enough to do the bathroom too. The new floor looks great so far and easy easy clean up (painter ghosted me, so I had to paint the walls AFTER the floor was installed, thank you for talking me into the vinyl for that room! My paint spills peeled right up!) I'll be back again when I save more money to do the next room!! read more

Great customer service! The easiest part of my renovation. The staff were so helpful. Everything arrived on time. My 2 big dogs haven't been able to scratch my duravana floor. Busyyyyy!!!!! This relatively small store, packed away on a hill behind the Claymont Wawa, had about the same amount of customers as a large Home Depot. Deals galore on upscale flooring as well as cheap-ass laminates. To my pleasant surprise, we found an efficient and knowledgeable employee that took us around through some of the woods, materials and underlayments to augment both the soundproofing and the durability of the materials. My partner wound up buying some really nice oak flooring for the master bedroom... Next is the installation... I guess I will be learning how to install hardwood floors too.. As I write this, I have workers installing the hardwood flooring I purchased from them. I decided to write this after finding a problem. You know, I know the items are generally marked down for a reason. I shouldn't complain too much about it because the price was right and so far most of the wood is OK. The staff is also very friendly. But... when I order 511 square feet of oak gunstock, even if it is a clearance item, I expect to get 511 square feet of oak gunstock. I don't expect two of the boxes in the order to have a completely different color. Also, there seems to be an unusually higher amount of bad pieces including some that appear to have been nailed down once already. Nice to get these surprises in the middle of tearing your living room apart, isn't it? All I will say to anyone buying from this company is beware, especially on the clearance deals. read more

It's not every day that an employee gives an exceptional customer experience, yet Aaron Green from the LL Flooring store does just that..... consistently every time. Actually, I like all their employees, but Aaron is my absolute favorite. I first met him in the Newark, DE store about 8 years ago and was highly impressed that he could make purchasing a floor so seamless. I didn't realize it at the time but mentioned to him that he should run the store and was much better then the first salesperson (who I later found out was the store owner)... boy did I get a chuckle out of that... : ) It is now 2021 and I am making my third LL Flooring purchase. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that Aaron was still working and in the Wilmington DE store that I was now purchasing the flooring from. What sets Aaron apart is that he is knowledable of the products, services / installation and will do everything he can to meet the customer needs. Shopping here was a compete waste of time and I am still regretting the trip. When we first entered the store the staff was friendly and helpful. When we told them we were not purchasing today and only wanted take home samples suddenly both employees wanted nothing to do with us. One walked away mid sentence to help someone walking in the store and did not return. After 20 minutes of waiting and asking for help, the other employee finally got us samples. Sadly they were not the samples we requested. For some reason writing down the name of the flooring and taking that into the back was an insurmountable task. We left with four samples, only one which we really wanted. Before we were allowed to leave the employee took our information "just for record". Three weeks later I started receiving loan pre-approavals from Lumber Liquidators based on "my request". I never asked for or expressed any interest in receiving a loan. It appears the employee took my information, which was for their record, and entered my name into a loan request. Based on these events I will never return and would not recommend the store to anyone. read more

I bought flooring from here and used their contractor they use to install the flooring, i had my kitchen, bathroom and landing done first, liked it so much I then ordered more to have my living room and stairs done. I must say i am more then pleased with the service i received from all the employees who work in this store and the contractor they use. Everything looks great!!! They product was exactly what I brought and I am pleased with that. BUT the service at this location is really bad! The workers are all really rude and sarcastic. I felt like I could have Taken my money to Home Depot or Lowes and gotten better service. I bought a laminate for my basement. The prices are excellent here and the staff are efficient. The product I purchased was made in China. The reject rate on material was higher than I've found with other suppliers but they promptly exchanged the damaged product with no questions. I suspect the bulk of the damage occurred at the place of origin (China) and not LL since the real bad boxes were hidden in the middle of a brick of boxes still on the shipping palate with the banding intact. read more

They do not give full disclosure of what the job costs. Extra charges for dump fee, cutting the board fee, fee for each piece of furniture, not per room, fee for installing molding None of those costs were mentioned when floor purchased read more

Barbara and Duncan are experts at helping you find the floor of your dreams. The are knowledgeable of all the different materials that you can use and what is needed to do the entire project. We went in with all the confidence that the home improvement show give you that you can do it yourself. Barbara explained the science of installing our project and what she had found in doing a nail down floor. After talking things over and wanting a perfect floor quickly we took a free quote to have it installed by a professional. My husband said that he felt that he could do the project over 3 or 4 weeks. I decided that was too long to pull the house apart. We had Lumber Liquidators install in one day and only had the house pulled apart for a short period of time. Do NOT buy floors from lumber liquidators, the people in the store were very nice, but if the product you bring home is defective good luck getting them to take it back. They have made my life a nightmare. Their own installer told them the floors were defective and it has taken my husband and I excessive phone calls and emails to get the store to take them back, but they still refuse to pick it up. They expect us to take time from work, rent a truck, find help and return it on our dime. So we are out nearly $1k in moving costs and I cannot put a dollar amount on the frustration and undue stress they've caused. Pay the extra money and buy from a company with positive reviews for customer service. read more

this store is horrible!! if i could give ZERO stars i would. my wife and i went floor shopping and wanted to start here. we were in the store for 20 minutes in plain view of the2 -3 guys working there. comparing what we found on their web site. our budget was around 5,000$ for 800 sq ft. in that 20 minutes not one hi, hello, do you have any questions, do you need help. nadda nothing!!!! we walked out and went to to avalon tile up the road and spent 4500$ there. lumber liquidators needs to learn better customer service at this location. read more
