A WARNING! IF YOU BUY ANYTHING HERE THAT NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED READ THIS FIRST! I have been holding off from writing this review because I was hopeful that Alex Casimiro (the owner) at Pristine Flooring would honor the promises that he was making, but no such luck. IN A NUTSHELL: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO INSTALL YOUR FLOORS! LL Flooring sent this company to install our floors. Initially we thought they had done a decent job. When we thought they were finished Alex began pressuring us to sign off on the job which we reluctantly did. Less than a week later we discovered the first problem which we made him aware of. He said he would come by and fix it. He did not. The following month I had hip surgery and couldn't communicate with him, but I corrected the problem myself before the surgery, but afterward we discovered two more problems that were way out of our scope of being able to repair so we called him to make him aware of them. After stringing us along for about a month he stopped responding to our tests and phone calls. Despite repeated calls he completely ignored us and left us hanging. This went on for 5 months. This went on until he assumed that I had left a negative review on his Yelp page, which I hadn't yet, but he agreed to come out and fix the two problems and finish the job. That was over 2 months ago and we still haven't seen him and the job still isn't finished. Over this period of time heard every excuse in the book when he decided to respond to our calls and texts. "I was on vacation", " I was in a sales meeting", "I was in a class", "There was a problem with the job before yours", "The dog ate my homework" all of which we heard after he swore on a stack of bibles that he would be coming on a particular time and day. He was lying through his teeth every time he spoke to us and was oblivious to the chaos and havoc he was causing in our lives. Every time he committed to a date and time we would clear our schedules in hopes that he would stick to his word and show up. He is not a man of his word. He is a liar plain and simple. He cannot be trusted. If you have the misfortune to come in contact with Alex Casimiro and Pristine Flooring run away as fast as you can. If you are already involved in a project with him don't sign off on anything until you have checked and double checked the work. No matter how long it takes or how much he pressures you. If you do you will regret it and be in for a world of hurt and a massive waste of your time. All you will have is problems you will have to pay for long after the installation is initially done. There are many flooring installers out there to choose from so don't settle for one that will hang you out to dry. This is definitely one of those cases where one star is one too many to describe how bad of an experience this has been. read more

I had wooden floor molding that connect the wooden floor to tile floor that was broken and needed replacement piece. I couldn't find the same strip molding in Home Depot and stumbled upon Google with LL Flooring. I walked in with a broken piece of wood and Tony and Andrew helped me to find the closest replacement piece and were really helpful. They spent time looking into the best match in the storage room with me and explained the different types of wood and offered to give the best discount ever. They are professional and friendly and honest with the pricing. I recommend anyone who needs any wooden floor pieces and sizes, go to LL Flooring. We've been going back and forth with LL for months now. They work with contractors and one of the vendors that they sent out has been unreachable to come back and repair their work. I was just informed that that LL expects us (the customers) to find a new vendor to pay out of pocket to correct a service that should have been done correctly to begin with. Instead of trying to find a new vendor or terminate their agreement with existing contractors that are clearly unreliable and sketchy. Tony was especially helpful when I came back with my unopened and unused boxes of flooring to collect my refund. He found my orders with ease and was able to process the refund without issue. The staff here are heroes! They were so patient that id like to give them awards... how awful of me, I can't remember the specific employee's name, but he was a saint. My husband was (imho) a bit demanding and aggressive, and our customer service was patient, informed, helpful and willing to make needed changes. We visited during the early days of COVID and I think we experienced some delays and challenges due to the newness of the pandemic, even so, I was really impressed with the extra mile of care we received...plus, they had access to previous purchase info which was invaluable as we made née decisions. I had the wood installed, first they sent the wrong material then i had to wait an extra few weeks for the right material and they had to get the wrong material out of my house which was a pain to have sitting there. fast forward to now, the wood has buckled and they went me a quote but it should be covered under the warranty. Yelp challenge 19/100 The price of this company's stock may have taken a nose dive in early 2015, after it was discovered by the TV program "60 minutes" that their products, most of which are made in china, contained levels of formaldehyde that exceeded emissions standards set by the California air resources board (one of the 6 boards under the California EPA), but their customer service is impeccable. Love the simple store layout which neatly separates their products into sections: laminate, hardwood, vinyl etc Free bag of goodies including brochures outlining their vast array of patterns and a bottle of water. Talking about lumber can be quite a dehydrating experience y'know. Free samples of flooring patterns that you're interested are given upon request. I was shocked by the high level of service at this store. I had been to the Commerce location about 10 years ago and I didn't remember much about it except that I got some gorgeous Brazilian Cherry shorts for less that $3 a square foot. For some reason I assumed that because the word "liquidators" is in the title I would wander around like a dummy begging someone to help me after 40 minutes. Not so. I walked in and within a minute Jeff, the manager, and Douglas, the assistant manager, were finishing with other customers and offering help. Since I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted and didn't want, they were able to direct me to- you guessed it- more Brazilian Cherry shorts, which happened to be a "Special Select" for $3.99 a square foot. Not laminate. Actual wood. For $3.99. Only .99 more than 10 years ago and about $1.25 less than for a comparable Cherry on their website. Go store specials! They were also able to recommend an installer who got back to me within 2 hours and came out the same day to give me an estimate. Douglas followed up to make sure the installer had called. Really, I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the customer service and the quality of the product. The whole thing was easy. Who has ever said that about replacing the floors in their house? Me. Right now. Do yourself a favor. Hit that 210 and get an actual person help you pick put something worthy of an HGTV binge-watching evening. read more

The store manager at Monrovia, Jeff, was very rude. there was no customer services. The way he does business is worst than a used car salesman. I was promised that there will be no problem with returning the unused boxes, but when I called Jeff today he said it has passed the 30-day limit. Yes, I was one day over and Jeff never mentioned about the 30-day return policy before, not even once, and I talked with him at least 3 times previously. I requested to discuss this issue with his boss, and hopefully I will get an answer soon. However the customer service rep at LL headquarter was very nice and helpful. I was bestowed the privilege of ripping out the carpeting in the kids room and replacing it with laminate flooring. Oh joy here we go! We had shopped around several big box home improvement stores before stopping in to this location. The guys were super helpful! We ran into a snag with the product we purchased having been "damaged" (though I think they were mistakenly out of stock when they sold it) no harm no foul. Here's the kicker... The guys went out of there way to rectify the situation by locating the product at another store, having them "put hands" on the product to make sure they actually had it and even cut the already reduced price in half for the trouble. Though it wasn't the smoothest experience I have to say they handled it well. The project got done, the room looks awesome and the wife is happen...most importantly lol I had did have to go with the 4 star review for overall product quality/satisfaction. read more

We recently got our engineered hardwood floor installed. Now, we weren't too diligent with our research. Might not be a good idea. However, we went into the store to begin looking and we met Leo who is the store manager. He explained to us all we needed to know about hardwood and showed us the quality of each one. Upon coming across one particular style we loved, Leo explained what we needed to know about engineering hardwood. To make a long story short, we were sold. The installation team which consisted of two people did an amazing job to our home. We love our new look to our home. I definitely recommend this particular store.
