I was introduced to Irving from NB Flooring and he has been amazing to work with. At one of my properties NB Flooring was able to complete 2 jobs for me this year. The first was to remove the existing flooring (VCT and old carpet). This was completed in a timely fashion. The 2nd job was to replace existing carpet and install a vapor barrier to ensure that water/moisture from the foundation would not seep into the carpet area. Once the job was completed, I have had no issues. NB Flooring did a great job!! Again, for jobs big and small, NB Flooring can get it done.

They strongly suggested that I get an installation quote from their business partner, Installations Made Easy. I contacted them and arranged for an estimate from SC Flooring. I checked out SC Flooring, and as you can see, somehow, most of the Yelp reviews are favorable. From the time that Ed estimated my job, to the conclusion of this nightmare project, FIVE MONTHS would pass! SC Flooring was the most unprofessional and dishonest business that I have ever dealt with. Janessa and Ed lied to me repeatedly and tried to breach our contract with hidden charges and price increases that were never even discussed or approved by me. Installations Made Easy had to police them and help me finally resolve the project. I have no cash and am told that it's ok I can pay in full at the end. We schedule it for Tuesday morning. I confirm again on Sunday. Tuesday, an hour after they are supposed to show, I call to find out where they are. They are saying they won't do the job until I bring them $150 cash deposit. I get down there to speak to the manager. He's not there and they end up telling me they won't do the job till the next day. Horrible way to do business.

I called on Friday to schedule a carpet cleaning and was told they would send personnel over for an estimate first. If the day was still open for cleaning, they could even start the carpet cleaning on the spot. I was confirmed an appointment time frame between 12-2pm Saturday. In addition, I received not 1 but 2 follow up emails to confirm the appointment. Saturday came and went with a no show, no call to reschedule or follow up and no email cancellation. Needless to say, we will not be using Brite Carpet Cleaners for any services.

(They no longer work with Lumber Liquidators for reasons that are easily found elsewhere.) We needed new flooring in our bedroom quickly when we discovered, just a few weeks before I was set to have major surgery, moths living in our 18-year-old wool rug. When making the installation appointment we were given information (how to store the new flooring material, how long it needed to acclimate before installation, etc.) that the flooring store did not give us. The installation team, 3 very able, friendly young guys, arrived on time and completed the work in half the time they estimated it would take. They were focused on getting the work done and did a great job of clean up afterward. Ever (that's the name of one of the installers) was easy to talk to, answered all our questions and always involved us when there was a design decision to be made. When we chose a click-together technique rather than glue-down he warned us that these floors can move. Sure enough, 4 months after the installation we had a handful of 1/8 to 1/4" gaps between boards. We called Isaac, explained the issue and, without hesitation, he offered to send up one of his guys to take care of the problem - without charge! Again, Izer (another unique, wonderful name!) arrived on time (driving up in the rain from Gardena to Encino!) explained to us what was happening and corrected the problem in less than an hour.
