I worked with Austin on my purchase, and I received exceptional service from start to finish. At 9 months pregnant, I decided to finish up those last minute house projects- one of which was replacing the floors in the whole house. Austin made sure we had one delivery with all of the flooring- and it arrived within days of ordering it. I thought it would take much longer! The flooring looks absolutely beautiful. While we didn't end up hiring the person who came out to measure for flooring, he was very knowledgeable about which type of flooring would be best for dogs and kids. He was forthcoming about the process and costs for bamboo versus vinyl plank. We went with vinyl plank, the price was great, and it looks stunning. We were actually a few boxes short in the midst of the install, and I called Austin who secured the boxes we needed immediately, carried them out to my car, and honored the sale price from my original purchase. We were also short on baseboards, and Austin called other stores to help us get the baseboards that day. I ended up not needing all of them, and the return was so easy. Roxy helped me with the return, and she was so kind. Every exchange I had with the Lumber Liquidators crew was outstanding. They are so nice and so accommodating. They took the time to ask about my day, answer my questions about the flooring and baseboards, and go the extra mile to make sure my experience was perfect. I highly recommend! I had a great experience with the guys at this location. Very helpful--they know their products--and no high pressure sales tactics. I bought a beautiful 12mm laminate that was on sale for $1.59. I was in a rush so I didn't have a lot of time to comparison shop, but have since found that it's a pretty good deal, especially compared to Home Depot and Lowes. Bought flooring at the end of 2013. Hand scraped golden teak laminate. Some of the flooring needs to be replaced due to peeling and cleaning. I have discovered they no longer carry this floor and I need a full box. Can't find anything similar to patch the floors and they have no suggestions. Half the house is done with this. Didn't imagine they would stop making it as it was a popular color. Found out they were being sued due to flooring with Formaldehyde at a amount to high for California. Now I know why they couldn't give extra box of flooring. I torn all of it out and had to pay to replace it all. Didn't see the program on TV when it aired. Lots of lawsuits. Check to see where your flooring is made. read more

My first experience at Monrovia location was great. Roxy was very knowledgeable and was able to get me a discount on some great vinyl planks. This location actually has better prices than Westside LA location (approx 10% difference). But they don't keep as much in stock. Few months later I needed 4 more boxes and unfortunately she didn't offer the same pricing saying she can't override the system. That's a shame coz another location of LL could! This place is small but they have a lot of of different kind of flooring. The staff there is nice and friendly. I have been there 4 times looking and comparing prices for similar flooring I wanted else where. I also have gotten free samples. Only thing you got to do for free samples is leave them your info. Oh wow! Where to start? I bought two pallets of wood flooring from lumber liquidators in Monrovia. I wasn't exactly sure of the measurements but the girl I dealt with told me to go ahead and buy extra just in case and anything that I didn't use her we could return to the Rancho Cucamonga store since that was closer to my house. I said fine and bought the two pallets. The floor was completed and the remaining boxes of wood were sent with my contractor back to the Rancho store. He went to get the receipt, and the girl advised him that it has been more than 30 days and she was not going to take the 11 boxes back for credit. She told me to call customer care so I did. I explain the lady in Monrovia said she knew I was buying too much but I could bring back the extra wood at a later time she never once said I had a 30 day window to do this. Customer service did absolutely nothing to help the situation when she told me "what? You didn't read your contract? You signed it right?" You have to be kidding me? I even said I would pay the restocking fee I just wanted my money back for the 11 extra boxes of an open would. She kept saying that this is our policy this is our policy etc. Over and over again. I told her even though your lady in Monrovia said I could bring it back you're telling me you're not going to refund my money? She said no. So the bottom line is this place is a rip off. They are nasty and they flat out lied to my face. I have 11 boxes of wood in my garage now that she told me "Just keep it". Are you kidding me? Is this the way to do business? I would stay far away from these people or make sure you get the exact amount of wood or flooring that you need because they will not honor what their sales people tell you Thank you for responding Sandra H, but I do not know how to direct contact you. I just finished installing 800 sq ft of the Bellawood Hickory engineered wood flooring. Leo, the store manager has been great to deal with through the whole project. The quality and price of the flooring was very good compared to what I found at the big box and other flooring stores. The wear layer thickness, finish, and the length of the boards (many are 84" long) is what sold me on this particular product. I had very little waste - only the very occasional finish marking or damage to tongue or groove. I did a glue down installation with the Bostik Seal N Grip. This was my first ever wood floor installation, but with some careful planning and checking out YouTube videos, I was able to get it installed. I wish the return policy was longer than 30 days, but they are very up front about the policy (every time I buy something, I sign a sheet acknowledging the policy) read more

I bought misty morning oak and the stair nose, and stair nose was glue-on piece, not flush (corporate please address laminate stair nose, unacceptable, needs to be flush like the wood stair nose). I just purchased some water proof vinyl flooring and I am so glad I went to this store. Leo, the sales person helped me out tremendously. What I liked the most is his courtesy and customer service skills. I am really happy with HOW he helped me in choosing the materials I needed. He is very polite and patience, even when I kept interrupting him he listened to me and helped me out in a very nice way. Not that many stores have employees like this so I can really appreciate this. Now regarding price, I confess that I didn't go look at other places, but I did go to home depot and I was "this close" in buying this stuff at home depot because someone told me that home depot has really low prices for laminate floor and everybody goes there to buy this price because their prices are really low already. Well, that friend of mine didn't know what the heck they were talking about because home depot is DOUBLE the price, and their stuff is UGLIER. I'm sure there might be a couple of other places out there that might have the same stuff at a bit lower price than lumber liquidators, but Leo's service was very pleasant that I just decided to buy it here at lumber liquidators. On top of that I don't have time to be driving around looking for lower prices. The stuff I purchased here cost me half the price compared home depot, and home depot does't even have a nicer variety compared to lumber liquidator. Oh, and at home depot I had to special order and wait almost two weeks to receive my new floor. Lumber liquidator had it in stock so I took it the same day. That's pretty awesome! Yeah, I got fantastic service and a low price so I definitely recommend this place. That's what business is all about. read more
